Great shopping experience here…read more I love the selection at Kohl's in general - their designer clothing is well-priced and they also have a great range of sturdy yet classy clothing. I head here especially for: - clearance dresses - great workout clothes - an awesome purse selection - the softest pajamas you've ever touched Making it even better: the great customer service. The cashier let us all use my mom's coupon and I've had a really easy time with returns. Easy parking, wheelchairs on site that make it easy to take my grandma shopping, and a great rotating selection of merchandise = this store is a tax-free must-shop location.

I've always loved this place. The prices are great, and you do find some really cute things…read more What I think people don't see is that this store is in a bad part of the city, there are a lot of rude people that come in, so sometimes it's hard to keep a smile on your face. Also, there is sometimes things like masks in the fitting rooms and other trash, but I know they can't always get to that immediately when people drop it in there. It's a busy place sometimes and they're only human, it doesn't help when people are consistently in and out of the fitting rooms by themselves. Another thing people don't understand is everybody has their own personal idea of "style" and "what's hot". Your idea of something really cute might be different from what teens/young adults are actually into, and you can't really blame the employees if they pass on it. They have their own personal style too. Don't expect to drive over an hour and make hundreds of dollars, you get around $6 for a pair of jeans, a dollar or less for jewelery (depending on the item), maybe a few dollars for a top... it's a used resell store. You can't expect to make a fortune. They turn down items if they have an odor or are covered in fur because all the clothing goes directly to the floor. All they ask is you wash everything beforehand and it makes the buying process so much easier and cleaner. There's a lot of misconceptions about this place, but it's overall a solid business and they're doing their best. It's a very opinionated store when it comes to buying because you can't just force people to like the same things as you, everybody's different. I'm only giving 4 stars because it is a bunch of teenagers hired there that do occasionally give attitude, but I feel like I can't really blame them with how they are treated on a daily basis by people who come in and yell at them just because they didn't take the extra step to wash their clothes ahead of time. Call ahead if you REALLY wanna know what they're taking, and don't be disappointed if your clothes aren't totally in style to the specific person sorting through your items. Like I said, they're only human and go through so much. Retail sucks, give them a smile and be kind.

Staff is less than personable / friendly. Brought in maybe…read more5 items for them to look at , took two and a half hours and they offered me $3 for one item that was tagged $110 and brand new. Literally a Nike zip up they could've/ would have sold for $40-60 no doubt. The girl told me they didn't take SHEIN at any store; when half of their collection as well as the Portsmouth locations collection is all SHEIN items. The difference in prices is also INSANE. I got brand name boots in Portsmouth that retailed for $200 for $14. This Plato's is selling nasty gross dirty shoes for $60 with Amazon branding. I genuinely wouldn't waste your time or money coming to this location at all. They really pick and choose here and the staff is just not worth dealing with. I've met 15 year olds in customer service with more tact.

They had a nice selection of skateboard decks as well and they seemed very knowledgeable about building and what styles work best for certain people, however when I did ask what different wheels and bearing, etc were better at, they mostly just described them as "the same but a different brand" which from my little research is somewhat untruthful. before picking my board equipment out, they did tell me that a normal custom board would be about $110-130. Mine was much more than their estimate in the end which annoyed me a little but I was still happy with a quality board.
