Highly recommend! Andrea has been immensely helpful for my child's speech as well as my own education in partnering with and nurturing him.

In total, our family has worked with Minette for just over eighteen (18) months. Minette's has an incredible ability to connect with my children. She built rapport and trust, she's honest and engaging. She is able to skillfully walk students (and parents) through testing data and explain what it means. She focused on my children's strengths and uses them to develop their areas of weakness. She's kind, clear, and firm and was just so competent at getting my children to buy in to working very (very) hard and being able to see their gains and improvements. Our successes with Minette: With my dyslexic child--she saw Minette 2x/week. I typically took my child to tutoring during the school day for her sessions with Minette. She started tutoring in January of 1st grade, struggling to read and unable to produce (phonemic) written work--lots of great writing, but nothing that we could read. At the end of first grade she was able to sound out words and read (at level D/E), and do some phonetic writing. At the end of 2nd grade, my child was reading at level M (upper end of grade level) and expanded her writing ability. Most importantly, she learned self-advocacy skills and strategies for reading/catching errors/self-checking and early strategies for writing. The self-checking skills are critical b/c it helps my child understand that mistakes will happen, they need to be caught and corrected, and then you keep on going. With my child who was struggling with writing--she did a few assessments, reviewed some writing samples, and listened to some school history, then crafted several sessions focused on how to organize ideas, how to construct sentences, paragraphs, etc (and punctuation/grammar). After his second session, I received an excited email from his teacher, "[Student] wrote a full page during writing time. It was well written!" Typically, this child would struggle to eek out two sentences. Minette is a highly-capable and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist. She is able to develop, execute, and communicate an intervention plan and keep everyone moving forward and goal-focused. I have recommended her to many families and their experience has been similar to mine. Thank you so much for supporting our family, Minette!

My husband is very supportive and did research on speech therapy for me, and found Minette. I am so thankful. I was extremely nervous upon our first meeting but that quickly went away. Minette made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. I worked with Minette weekly for about six months and made huge strides in understanding my speech. learning about stuttering, how your mouth and tongue muscles all work together to speak was eye opening. The biggest take aways for me were techniques to relax muscles that tense while I read out loud. (I have two young children I read to daily) And also being comfortable and accepting my speech imperfections was huge for me. I highly recommend Minette. She is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and really cares about helping you.

Earlier this year, I scheduled an appointment with the intent of recovering from an injury. On several occasions, I would call and confirm logistics like cost of care, availability, and other key information. Arriving well before the start of my appointment, I reviewed the paperwork and provided all requested information where it was relevant. However, upon reviewing the documentation, there was a concern about the terms of use, so I requested a copy of the T.O.U. Upon reviewing the TOU, I disputed a line-item and asked for an exception. The administrator didn't know what to do since I refused to sign. Complicating things, the physical trainer refused to provide any assistance because I had failed to sign the paperwork. After this, having already paid the evaluation fee, I requested a refund back to my credit card and was told this would be processed. I was also provided a business card associated with the manager. Returning home, I emailed the manager, who asked me to call a toll-free number. Calling the toll-free number redirects to an anonymous voicemail service. I left a message and a callback number. Speaking with someone about my experience, they indicated they could provide me a waiver after I filled out and consented to the terms of use. I countered by asking for a waiver upfront and the permission to strike the line-item from the agreement. Eventually, we resolved this issue, but there was the outstanding refund, which had not been processed. Truly after waiting a week, I contacted my bank and disputed the charge. As of today, the charge is still in progress, no doubt waiting for PT Solutions to confirm the dispute is correct. After contacting PT Solutions they stated it was against THEIR policy to refund back to the credit card. Instead, they would mail me a check. That's right. A credit card transaction isn't refunded back to the card. Instead, they require you to cash a check. Having spoken to both someone in their customer service department and someone in accounting, I have learned the following all without having received any care. 1. PT Solutions' local office isn't empowered to immediately resolved disputes. 2. PT Solutions' accounting department doesn't have your interests at heart, given they insist on sending a paper check instead of refunding the amount, if it was charged to a card. 3. PT Solutions sees you as a product and not a person. That is clear, after I saw a line-item in their terms of use which asked for permission to solicit you on their behalf for donations. Note, it requires providing your phone number to a third-party not employed or owned by PT Solutions. Overall thoughts. I cannot stress that I received no care from the physical trainers or certified assistants. My experience is purely based on what I went through before seeing anyone. I would advise you go elsewhere if you care about immediate dispute resolution and refunds. As always, your individual experiences will vary.
