PT Solutions - Northgate. -1. Customer Service…read more -1. Terms of Use. -1. Management. +1. Scheduling & Local Staff +1. Ambience. Background. Earlier this year, I scheduled an appointment with the intent of recovering from an injury. On several occasions, I would call and confirm logistics like cost of care, availability, and other key information. Arriving well before the start of my appointment, I reviewed the paperwork and provided all requested information where it was relevant. However, upon reviewing the documentation, there was a concern about the terms of use, so I requested a copy of the T.O.U. Upon reviewing the TOU, I disputed a line-item and asked for an exception. The administrator didn't know what to do since I refused to sign. Complicating things, the physical trainer refused to provide any assistance because I had failed to sign the paperwork. After this, having already paid the evaluation fee, I requested a refund back to my credit card and was told this would be processed. I was also provided a business card associated with the manager. Returning home, I emailed the manager, who asked me to call a toll-free number. Calling the toll-free number redirects to an anonymous voicemail service. I left a message and a callback number. Speaking with someone about my experience, they indicated they could provide me a waiver after I filled out and consented to the terms of use. I countered by asking for a waiver upfront and the permission to strike the line-item from the agreement. Eventually, we resolved this issue, but there was the outstanding refund, which had not been processed. Truly after waiting a week, I contacted my bank and disputed the charge. As of today, the charge is still in progress, no doubt waiting for PT Solutions to confirm the dispute is correct. After contacting PT Solutions they stated it was against THEIR policy to refund back to the credit card. Instead, they would mail me a check. That's right. A credit card transaction isn't refunded back to the card. Instead, they require you to cash a check. Having spoken to both someone in their customer service department and someone in accounting, I have learned the following all without having received any care. 1. PT Solutions' local office isn't empowered to immediately resolved disputes. 2. PT Solutions' accounting department doesn't have your interests at heart, given they insist on sending a paper check instead of refunding the amount, if it was charged to a card. 3. PT Solutions sees you as a product and not a person. That is clear, after I saw a line-item in their terms of use which asked for permission to solicit you on their behalf for donations. Note, it requires providing your phone number to a third-party not employed or owned by PT Solutions. Overall thoughts. I cannot stress that I received no care from the physical trainers or certified assistants. My experience is purely based on what I went through before seeing anyone. I would advise you go elsewhere if you care about immediate dispute resolution and refunds. As always, your individual experiences will vary.

They do ask for donations for their cause which are tax deductible,,,this is a non-profit organization. They have very skilled pathologists situated in a very family friendly environment. Their therapists not only know what they are doing, they are really good with kids. They also offer a parent education class for parents to apply the needed skills for the other 23 hours in the day when your child isn't at therapy. This really acts like a turbo boost to your chid's speaking capabilities. This is a very well run organization that really deserves the donations for its cause. Our son has a severe speech delay. We went to our pediatrician in the beginning of February for…read moreanother recommendation because he turned three and we needed to switch services.  Dr. **** recommended Blue Sky Speech Therapy with Mayra Tishkoff. Before the first appointment we handed over all of our insurance information over to Mayra and was told she was going to check with our provider if she is in network and if services were going to be covered. During our initial appointment Marya explained to us that my insurance does not cover developmental delay speech therapy.  She said she could not bill our insurance and continued to explain that she spoke with our insurance directly and they instructed her that speech was not covered on our specific plan. Mayra was charging us anywhere from $120-$130 for the 45 min session out of pocket. We we going from the beginning of February to the middle of April once a week (that was all we could afford out of pocket). She would continue to tell us on several occasions that Zed was very behind and that we should up the appointments if we could afford it. After our last appointment on April 10th, my wife, Jessica, came home from the speech appointment very upset because Myra had made a very big point to her that Zed was very behind and that it was crucial that we upped his appointments in order for him to get over his Apraxia. Being that it was unaffordable for us, this was a very upsetting situation.  Jessica immediately got on the phone with Aetna to verify that this was not covered under our plan. I was told by the representative that we are 100% covered and she is in network, no age restrictions or restrictions on number of appointments. I also called aetna and verified that there was no attempt to bill or inquiry Aetna by Blue Sky Speech Therapy. After receiving that information I immediately call Myra to tell her that we are covered and asked for an explanation. She told me that the person who handles told her this information. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and told her kindly if she could rip up the last 2 checks I had given her and start billing my insurance plus the previous visits so I can get refunded minus our deductible. She agreed and said she would do that immediately. This all occurred on April 10th. On April 12th I noticed that there had been two checks cashed on the 11th, the day after I spoke with her and made a big point about charging our insurance that we are indeed are covered. She told me she was ripping those checks up and would bill our insurance. I immediately called Myra at Blue Sky and there was no answer. I had to leave multiple voicemails with her and she finally called me back a few hours later. She explained to me that she "accidentally" cashed the checks. Gave her 2 stars because she was a decent therapist

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE, TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!!…read more I have waited over a month before writing this review. My mother contracted Covid (she was vaccinated) at this facility and died. I am not terribly upset about that, there are MANY other issues. First of all, I felt the physical therapy part of this facility was the only competent and caring group. I chose this facility over 5 others that I had to choose from for the clean appearance, friendly staff, and the nearby, decent physical therapy center within the complex. They showed me a spacious room, that ended up not being like other rooms. The bathroom of her room was shared, I was unaware and never considered that they did this, especially with Covid. My mother was here after she fractured her hip and while rehabbing had significant leg and muscle pain.....very normal. After a few days I was concerned that she had suffered a stroke....her mind was foggy, speech had become slurred, but I just happened to be on the phone when an attendant came with her meds. I could hear the conversation clearly. Now, my mother was taking half an oxycodon (As Requested), but would take it a half hour prior to physical therapy. This day, along with her typical meds, pink pill was delivered, she asked the attendant twice what it was, "Take it, its for pain." I told her not to take it. "Take it," I heard him say. I told her to throw it on the floor, I KNEW it was not any pain pill that she had asked for. After MANY phone calls, I found out that the Nurse Practitioner (ROMA) had prescribed her Flexiril (As Requested) without my Mother or I being informed. She never had asked or requested it. In my mind, it was the equivalent of being "roofied" and it was under the direction of ROMA. In her state of mind, she did not know they had added this narcotic. This was why she was lethargic, slurred speech, etc. I confronted this "Medical Professional" with questions, in particular, when rehab causes muscle pain, is this the normal course of action over ice and tylenol or the like. They simply DRUGGED HER to make it easier. After my conversation, they used ice, compression and a "pain patch" and she was able to progress again. Be ever vigilant if your loved one ends up here, and, in particular, check on the nursing and Roma. She exuded incompetence and dishonesty. One of the ladies that has been there for quite sometime is allowed to keep her TV on 24\7 at a ridiculous high level that makes it difficult to rest. My mother had to fight to get her bed changed after an accident, some attendants treated her roughly when changing bedding, etc. The facility doctor told me he would see my mother weekly. That was total BS. It was very difficult to get calls returned until I e-mailed several administrators and care givers with a CC to my attorney. Oh, but when Medcair was getting near the end of their paying duration I did receive calls, even though her supplemental insurance would cover the costs and the information had been submitted with them. Can you guess what happened with that? Yup, they had lost it, but it did not matter, she contracted Covid there, and died. When she tested positive for Covid, I received a call from Roma that her blood oxygen levels were declining. I had to TELL HER to send her to a hospital, thus she was sent to UW and put into ICU. I truly believe they would have tried to care for her there and allowed it to worsen and spread further. Choosing that facility and the incompetence and uncaring that she endured will haunt me forever. They are good with the sales, the empty promises, and the appearance that you see when you enter, but it is awful. I did not even mention the food, once a week showering, indiscriminate times of delivering meds, or the way they had not even bagged her belongings to "quarantine" them like the hospital does with the belongings of those with Covid.
