I think this is the best thing I've ever eaten, if I had to choose a last meal this would be it. Funnel cake is very good too, not too sweet and crunchy... Go on and get you some hot n' fresh fried delicacies

I can't say enough positive things about this small owner operated business. They make the most delicious, get in my belly right now, shut up and take my money treats. I just finished noshing on the fruity pebbles deep fried ice cream sandwich with strawberries and whipped cream topping and it hit the spot perfectly. The young men who deliver the snacks and run the business are so prompt and polite. They take great pride in their work and their product and it shows. Know yourself well before you try these, my friends, because they will blow your mind. They are so good.

This is honestly the perfect snack. So happy with the funnel cake and the vanilla bean ice cream. They delivered it, and it was still as delicious as it looked when it got here. 100% recommend anyone try their food!

My son and I always try to support small businesses. This has got to be one of the coolest. He's got a good vibe going with the green snacks. Such a polite owner and we were thankful for an almost midnight delivery. Definitely different and not some thing you would eat every day but pretty cool. We're thankful to find this secret spot and we highly recommend for people looking for a cool snack.

Hi Swamp Snacks! What are your vegan options? Does your batter contain any animal products? Thanks!

Hello, No we dont use dairy milk & our batter doesnt contain any animal products & Our Vegan options are marked on our site; They include our Oreos as well as the Strawberry or Grape Pb&j

It would be helpful to indicate that this is NOT a store. Drove all the way out to Coe with no idea that it was a home based business with no storefront and couldn't find it. Yelp says you have indoor dining?

Apologies for the confusion but Our page does indicate Online ordering only and that there is not indoor dining. If there’s ever any confusion feel free to give us a call or view our Website .

Is online only or is the a place I can go too? And do you take cash?

I make the food from home. You can pick up the orders but not dine in & yes cash is accepted, as well as card.

Today, I was craving a milk tea, but I wanted to check out a never boba and dessert sport and trusty ol' Yelp popped up with Kobing Dessert Studio not to mention their rating is 4.5 so i knew I had to see what they offer. They do not have a big drink selection, but what they do have is different from other boba spots and they do have a selection of desserts. The service is really good and they two employees were very friendly. The inside is super cute and cozy. I ordered the coconut strawberry cloud drink. It consists of coconut water and fresh strawberry milk. I added boba and coconut jelly to my drink. I will for sure be back the prices are great too!

It was fun trying somewhere new as we usually go to our favorites. For the past several years we've been going to Scott's for celebrations, but that has gotten old so thankfully we found somewhere new and loved it. I highly reccomend this restaurant. The ambiance is spectacular. If you can get one of the side tables under the overhang with the wine bottle chandelier you'll love it. Here's what we ordered: Borscht with Beef: Traditional red soup made with beets, beef, garden vegetables topped with sour cream- To me it didn't look appetizing, but it's a traditional dish so we split a cup. We didn't have much hope that would be edible. We were blown away trying it. It was actually good. We were shocked. It was so good. It was filled with pieces of tomatoes and beets and huge tender chucks of beef. Spinach Blini-Gluten free, vegetarian, 6 blintzes filled with spinach and creamy white sauce. We really enjoyed these Spinach Blini. They were very rich. I could only eat two to them and took the third one with me to share with my husband. He really liked it and wish there was more. I really wanted to get the Cherry Blini, but we were too full even though we shared an entree. I'm so disappointed as they looked so good. We needed a couple more people at our table so we could have tried more dishes and eaten everything family style. Beef Stew-Tender chunks of beef meat, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and this good things stewed in perfectly hearty cheese gravy baked in clay pot and served with tortilla on top. We split this dish and it was the perfect amount for us. It was really good. The chunks of potatoes and meat were huge, the mushrooms were firm, and the flavor was really tasty.

I then ordered several of their other plates and also enjoyed them so I took them home and ate like a Ukrainian for a few days. :-)

This takes me to the Arden-Arcade neighborhood of Sacramento where I had the opportunity in trying out "Sham Sweets". Established in 2019, this hole-in-the-wall Middle Eastern dessert shop is located directly on Fulton Ave and adjacent to Hurley Way. The parking lot is quite spacious as this small business shares itself with many other unique places. Business hours here are also very generous as they are open 7 days a week from 11:00am-8:30pm. I came here on the afternoon of Saturday 2/21/2026 at around 2:00pm. Upon entry, I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious, clean, and inviting this place was. And my oh my, they had a TON of desserts displayed everywhere! Everything from Turkish delights, baklava, künefe, Turkish cookies, and their version of a Middle Eastern ice cream, "Booza". Since it was the most requested item, I took a chance and ordered this. it is quite difficult to explain this food item but it has the chill factor of sweet cream but more of a dense, elastic-stretchy texture. It also had pasty pistachio chunks as a crumb topping. And since I wanted some desserts to go, I also ordered a total of 4 of their "Pistachio Bites"; two traditional/old-fashioned and two modern. Total price for everything only came to $10. The young man who helped me was very friendly, accommodating, and was able to answer all my questions. Since I had already visited their website, https://ediblesacramento.com/editorial/sham-sweets/, I had more of a general idea of what to expect at their bakery. After exiting the building, I enjoyed the Booza outside my car. I have to say that this dessert was like something I never experienced. One thing I have to say is that it is quite dense and creamy, almost a taffy-like custard. And with the chunks of pistachio with other elements packed in, it was quite chewy as well. I loved it but the flavor might turn a few people away. Once I got home, I enjoyed a couple of the Pistachio Bites and those also hit the spot. I love pistachio in general so when you make it into a small savory sweet, the flavor elevates itself on so many levels. The prices here are unbeatable, the customer service here was stellar, they have very generous hours of operation, and the unique Middle Eastern desserts that I sampled definitely did not disappoint. I expect to make many future visits to "Sham Sweets" and this place was sweet! My rating, a unanimous five stars.

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!
