Sherri was so easy to work with! I had an 8" round cake made for our very small wedding of 15 people. In the taste testing, we enjoyed the pink champagne a lot- but since it was my vision to have a semi-naked cake I told her we would go with regular white cake instead since a pink naked cake would look weird. She said she could do a white champagne cake instead and it was perfect! White champagne cake with raspberry filling was the bomb. I provided the flowers from my own garden and she asked if she could add her own to it which I said yes to. So happy with the cake! Our dinner was made so much happier with it when it got delivered on an otherwise rather stressful day! I purchased a cake for my sister's college graduation. I wanted the cake to represent the school mascot and colors. The final product came out beautiful and exactly what I wanted. (forgot to take a pic before cutting into it. I wish I had since it was so beautiful) When we finally cut into it the cake it was very fluffy and light. The cake tasted very flavorful and not too sweet. I don't like really heavy rich cakes so this one was perfect. I also have to say that the price was very reasonable. I'm struggling between 3 and 4 stars on this because it's probably just a "personal taste" thing for me, but hey, it's my review. I'm going with 4 stars though, because there wasn't really anything wrong with the cake, and Sherri seems nice. We ordered a chocolate cake for our sons birthday, and he's a kid so cake is cake and he loved it. The cake was pretty light in chocolate flavor and extremely light a springy. The frosting was nice, but pretty sweet. Again, no complaints from our 4 year old. Personally, I like a dense moist cake that's heavy on flavor. This was not that. You can see my other review for another cake place that I used in October, which definitely delivered on what I like (at a premium cost, of course). Anyway, SW Cakes is a fine option, especially for a kids birthday cake. If I was ordering another cake for a kids party, I would probably order from here again.
