I also got a dairy free, gluten-free cupcake that was custom-made with frosting when I was there Today I got a couple pieces of chocolate since I was in the area. They were out of the dairy free gluten-free cupcakes. The owners here are really nice and friendly. There's street parking as well. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area. Do you know they are on the expensive side but they use higher quality ingredients. In my opinion, it's definitely worth it.

It's a husband-and-wife team who not only run the shop but personally introduce themselves, which makes the experience feel extra special. There are so many delicious treats to choose from -- cookies, cakes, cupcakes, chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolates unique from different types of chocolate and more. Yes, it's a little on the pricier side, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Everything tastes fresh, rich, and truly homemade. I tried the chocolate treats and a tea, and both were fantastic. Whether you need something small or a huge custom order, they've got you covered. I'm already looking forward to going back!

Love this location! First of all, there is ample parking in a big wide lot, not the typical maze…read moretype of parking lot that is hard to navigate and is the "con" of many other locations. The Trader's here is in a large strip mall with big box stores so parking is never an issue. Inside is big and spacious, bright and clean with wide aisles so you never feel like you are on top of other shoppes. Yes, the cleanliness is because it's new, but the spaciousness is due to the design. Props for that. Well stocked with all the typical Trader Joe's items, as stores are pretty universal. Trader's isn't we here I do all my shopping, but when I'm looking for cheese, crackers and charcuterie items, this is where I go. I also love their affordable bagged salads, sugar snap peas, Persian cucumbers, small curd cottage cheese, and eggs - all affordable weekly purchases. Can always find decent wine at affordable prices, too. When they are offering tastings, I always give them a try and discover something new. And of course the 99 cent greeting cards are a steal! Plus the fresh flowers and plant section not to be missed. currently they have bromeliads which have one single bright orange, red or yellow bloom that lasts for months. I have about a half dozen! While I don't live in this area, when I go to have my car serviced or I'm visiting friends in Oregon City, my car automatically turns into the parking lot. Did I mention the easy ample parking?

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!…read more I'm based in California and wanted to gift a wedding cake to my cousin who was getting married in Molalla , Oregon. I found The Cake Room on Yelp and reached out--and from the very beginning, Leslie was nothing short of incredible. Everything was handled entirely via text, and yet the process felt so smooth, easy, and incredibly personal. Out of all the bakeries I contacted, Leslie was the only one who responded promptly, honestly, and with true professionalism. That alone gave me confidence, but her warmth and attention to detail made the experience even more special. She walked me through everything with patience and clarity, offering ideas and suggestions that really helped bring my vision to life--even from hundreds of miles away. I never once felt stressed or uncertain. Leslie took care of it all seamlessly. And when it came to the cake itself--it was beyond perfect. Absolutely stunning in design and unbelievably delicious. My cousin and their guests were blown away. It was a true highlight of the wedding! Leslie is a rare gem: kind, communicative, reliable, and extremely talented. I can't thank her enough for making this such a joyful and effortless experience. If you're lucky enough to be local to Beaverton--don't think twice. The Cake Room is it. Thank you, Leslie, for everything. You made this gift feel just as special to give as it was to receive. Leslie offered to deliver and cut the cake for a small fee.

No lines at this suburban location! Ah, the pink spinning carousel of doughnuts is mesmerizing! Old Dirty Bastard doughnut: raised doughnut w/chocolate frosting, Oreos, and drizzled peanut butter. When I was watching the carousel spin, it had me at Oreos. And yes, they are paying homage to the late rap artist w/his namesake doughnut. Plain Cake: a classic! This cake donut was excellent and surprisingly my favorite. Perfect. A simple doughnut that I sampled in the evening and was still amazing with my coffee the next morning. Peanut Cake: another simple cake donut with chocolate and peanuts. Very good! Thankful I am not allergic to peanuts. Banana Cream Pie: custard-filled doughnut with banana cream frosting and a slice of banana topping. The custard cream is yummy! So if I were in town again, I would actually get the plain cake and try something new to me. The Marshall Mathers doughnut also caught my eye on the spinning carousel. It is an M&Ms doughnut and homage to the rap artist known as Eminem. And I would sample whichever doughnuts that the hubby chooses! Customer service was excellent. Love the pink decor. Their slogan is "Good things come in pink boxes." Indeed!
