The doctor was amazing. So knowledgeable and personable. The staff were all wonderful from the first phone interaction to being so patient with our indecisiveness and need to try on so many pairs of glasses before finding the right one.... and they were sanitizing every pair you physically touched before redisplaying to reduce risk of COVID (thanks guys). Staff also took the time to figure how to get the most benefits from our insurance with regard to wanting glasses and contacts. Oh, one last thing! They also ordered trial contact lenses for my 17 year old and seemed to genuinely want him to find the brand that is right for him as he had had trouble in the past with irritation from the previous brand- I didn't even know this was an option as no other place has offered it but am very grateful! I have very limited time when it comes to being able to schedule and stick to appts (usually about an hour AT MOST, during the weekdays)... I was expecting to feel rushed in getting an assessment and picking out glasses and was extremely nervous about it all; however, the workers at SVS did a fantastic job at settling my nerves - it's not their responsibility but I was lucky enough to experience that - and making sure I picked out a pair of glasses that fit me/my face/my style, all within my 30-45 minute time slot. I unfortunately broke my glasses at work in the middle of my work day,I was absolutely devastated.I need my glasses to see I wasn't sure how I would even be able to drive home.I called SVS and explained to them my dilemma,the young lady who answered the phone was so compassionate and caring.She was not only able to schedule me an appointment it was for the same day.I was able to have my eyes examined and walk out with a pair of contacts.The employee Cody even taped up my glasses for me This is was by far the best customer experience ever.Thank you SVS on this day you all were my hero.Keep up the great work that you do!! read more

I was dreading having to get glasses, however, SVS staff made it quick and painless. From the Dr. who did the eye exam (and in time?? Unheard of!), to the staff who helped me pick out the perfect glasses for me (I get compliments on them at work, which is the only place I wear them), to the woman who cashed me out (also helped in picking out my frames). Absolutely wonderful experience!! Leah is an amazing optician that helped me pick out the perfect frames and listened to my likes and dislikes that helped us narrow it down. I even had a 'Wow!' Moment when she had me to try one that looked just perfect! The entire staff was extremely friendly, and welcoming. I wasn't crowded while looking at frames but was given help when I needed it. The whole process of getting an exam went really fast and the doctor is so nice. Leah helped me find a pair of frames suitable for what I needed and she thoroughly explained all my options on costs and when I finished with her she said my glasses would be there in 7-10 business days. They were ready to be picked up 3 days later so it was way ahead of time. There really is not one bad thing I cN say about anything regarding this establishment so I will be returning. read more

I really appreciated the ease of scheduling and working with staff to get my glasses during this time. I felt the exam was thorough and quick. Picking out glasses was fun despite the restrictions from COVID. It was a good experience. I picked up my sunglasses and currently awaiting my every day glasses. Went TO SVS about 8 yrs ago for the very first time I needed Rx lenses as opposed to $$ store readers. They were great- never hadda call GORDONS problem! I'm so glad I found SVS Vision Optical on Hayes and Hall Rd. I was greeted with a friendly smile. My exam went well. I felt very safe. Everyone was wearing a mask and cleaning areas along with eyes glasses that have been tried on. You can only go in by appointment only. I was greeting warmly the second I walked in the door. ( I was early so I offered to wait in my car) she said nope they would see me now. I waited maybe 5 minutes and got to sit down with my Dr who answered all my questions and was so helpful and patient and took her time with me to make sure my contact prescription and fit was perfect. read more
