Best experience I've had at an eye dr in a long time! Opticians were friendly and very helpful, scheduling is very easy and they had a lot of availability, the doctor is very kind. I usually dread the pre testing where the machine comes extremely close to your eye and puffs air in, and I was so happy they have a new device the Dr holds up to your eye that's less invasive and over MUCH quicker. My only complaint was after having my eyes dilated I was told to wait 20min and go back in to finish the exam, but the Dr had taken in another patient and was with them for 30+min while I was waiting to go back in, then another patient arrived and was waiting. It seems like they book appointments too close together for only one doctor. I will definitely come back though as that was the only downside. read more

After visiting several Vision stores, we found SVS Vision in Northville to have exactly what I wanted. Debbie was great in helping to pick out the right frame for my regular prescription glasses (1st new pair in 10 years) and the right frame for my first pair ever of prescription Sunglasses. Both pair were delivered to the store sooner then stated on two different days. Both Debbie and Joe were great in making sure everything was perfect and also provided helpful tips on wearing and taking care of my new glasses. I would definitely recommend this store, along with Debbie and Joe to anybody looking for great help and customer service. A great experience! read more

I really appreciated the help that I received. The doctor went beyond any other optometrist that I've ever seen to get to the root of my eye dryness. Even though I don't have vision issues I desperately wanted a really cute pair of glasses for using on the PC. The service representative that helped me following my visit presented me with my options. I appreciated her diligence and honesty. I really wanted these super cute frames, but paying that much money for glasses I didn't need wasn't wise. Nonetheless, I definitely appreciated the variety of stylish frames. While cleaning my eye wear, a freak accident occurred, and the temple got stuck in the door of the kitchen cabinet, no this needs to be repaired, I came in to have them checked out, and issue addressed, staff was pleasant, and very helpful as always, I was happy to hear that were frames under warranty, so replacements were order, and within the week, I had my eye wear back in tact, coincidentally, on that visit a friend had come with, and just looking around while I was serviced, she found cute eye wear, made an appointment for an exam, another fabulous customer! I had a great experience with the team here. Dr. Sorce's exam was very thorough and she explained things well each step of the way. Given my age, I anticipated I'd be needing to transition to wearing glasses fulltime due to my recent changes in vision, and Dr. Sorce was reassuring in explaining all of that. Additionally, she's just a genuinely kind and warm person so you feel at ease with her. The team members assisting me after my exam were very kind and helpful and I selected my new glasses easily. The SVS Vision location in Northville is excellent. The doctor and staff are friendly and helpful, as well as prompt in all regards, notably with orders and keeping their customers informed. I had been to a location in Saginaw that had mixed up my orders multiple times over the years I had used their services, having to wait up to 3 months for my new contacts or glasses, given excuse after excuse. This location got me my contacts and dress glasses within the week, and my safety's within two. This is the prime location for eyecare provision in the Metro Detroit area. read more

I was on my second trip for a replacement pair of glasses. The first ones were ordered wrong. Then they tried to call me to tell me the lab wasn't going to replace my lenses (which were ordered incorrectly). I spent $272.00 for my 'warranty replacement glasses'. When I got them, they tried to give me the wrong case, their SVS generic case for Vera Bradley frames and tried to pull it off that they were replacement glasses.. Funny they had a VB case behind the counter.. I would rather pay full price for my next glasses to not go there again. read more

It was a great experience from the first time walking through the doors, as everyone upheld Covid prodigals yet making the experience of an eye examine as well as picking out glasses a fun and professional atmosphere! I recently got glasses from this site and had some issues with the comfort. They let me pick a new pair, helped adjust and exchange the nose pads but ultimately I decided to just return them. The staff was extremely helpful and couldn't have been nicer. I would recommend them to anyone! read more
