1. They couldn't keep any trainers, we signed an one year contract and changed 4 trainers, still counting. All because of trainers leaving, not us. 2. Difficult to reach their customer service. The email get ghosted, and customer phone line would let you listen to 5 ads, then hang up on you. 3. Difficult to get out of the contract. What he didn't tell me was that my obligation to pay didn't end at three months-it continued until I gave 30 days notice. I've been ill throughout the whole time, but figured I'd have to pay three months anyway. When I caught on that I was still paying I called, emailed and texted. My husband gifted me 12 sessions. the first trainer was terrible. lost 3 weeks of workouts waiting for a few trainer. Then unknown to me, my account was transferred to monthly even though i still had sessions remaining and I was charged for new sessions. I did not authorize the monthly billing, and will get billed again for another month. because of their "30 day clause". overall, will be charged $720 for unauthorized sessions. the company and its customer service is severely lacking. Svetness Personal Training has been providing personal training for my elderly father for 10 sessions one to two times per week. Jon, his personal trainer, has been very good about giving a good range of exercises to strenghthen his body. He also ensures that my father is safe by making sure he does not fall during the exercises, checking his heart rate/O2 sat and giving periodic recovery breaks. Overall my father has improved his strength and endurance through these training sessions. He really enjoys the sessions a lot and wants to keep them going. read more

My experience with Svetness was not good. They could not care less if my trainer left 20 minutes early each training session, or if he was texting and on his phone throughout my training session. I paid $3,500 up front for 60 sessions. They have shady business practices, and once they've got your money and credit card number you need to watch out for all the ways they're going to try to bilk you. Fees and rules, like your sessions that you have paid for have an expiration date. If you don't use your sessions in the specified amount of time, then they make you pay more money just to use the sessions that you've already paid for. They're ridiculous. Svetness sucks. read more

Mediocre tech powered and highly disorganized with entry level customer service skills, Svetness tries to Uber and Airbnb you personal trainers right to your home. The trainers are great and they do their thing. Svetness is a mess though and they make the whole process cumbersome with their middleman nonsense. Build a platform, then support it with service. They haven't done either. Svetness jettisoned all account managers shortly after I joined and went to a model where you deal with whoever answers the phone. That made the service much worse as I felt like the only person I ever talked to was some intern. My trainer was great, but great people move on and she did...to another career in law enforcement. Svetness didn't assign another trainer for three weeks. The new trainer then quit before we had our first session. After a come to Jesus meeting and indication of my intent to initiate legal action, yet another trainer was assigned. This guys seems to be working out. Billing is a little concerning. At the rate Svetness is billing me, I'm not using as many sessions as I'm accumulating. I'll have sessions left over at the end of my contract that I probably won't be able to use unless I renew for another year. Do yourself a favor and just get a trainer. read more

I have been out of the workout game for years due to injuries... a bunch from working out. I connected with Svetness to get restarted and get exercises that wouldn't damage me. I got what I expected. My trainer, Kalon, is easy to work with. He even goes above workouts. As my balance is bad, the last 15 minutes of my workouts are dedicated to balance walking. It is going terrifically. I have been able to stop PT early because of it. Kalon has even made videos for me to use on my own. I haven't hurt myself working out. And I've made progress. The staff I have interacted with have been patient, kind and understanding. Everything I wanted and expected from a training service I have received. I highly recommend them. read more

I had an initial consultation call with Jeff and I have nothing but positive words to say about our initial call. Prior to speaking with Jeff, I've had consultation calls with 2 other companies and felt they tried to force sell me their PT packages and without actually listening to my concerns. Jeff was empathetic, informative, and wasn't forceful at all. He provided his suggestions to me and provided the reason why he recommended it and allowed me time to think and speak. We have continued our fitness training with our trainer Kristhel from Svetness and still believe we made the best decision we could back in Jan. We have been completely satisfied with the Svetness management/program administration, and most importantly, with Kristhel. We like working with Kristhel so much, we decided on an open ended contract which renews monthly at our current price until we decide otherwise. Svetness/Kristhel has allowed us to be very flexible in scheduling sessions. While we usually have two per week, we are able to cancel or reschedule our sessions depending on our travel schedule, visitors/guests, and unanticipated health problems. Do Not use this program. They will get a sales person on the call and promise you the world but look to charge you extra fees and do not care about the customer at all. I agreed to 12 sessions, which I made the mistake of prepaying for. The salesguy said that I could extend those 12 sessions past the 3 month period (assuming 1 session a week) if I did not use them. Additionally, the trainer I got assigned was a no show and late multiple times. The company did reach out and provided me alternative options but it was too late. The 3 month period passed and they auto-charged me an additional $300 because of a "clause" in their contract, since I did not give them a 30 day notice. They never sent me a notification that the 3 month period was coming upon closure, they didn't honor the 6 unused sessions, and they refuse to give me a refund. The trainers themselves are sub-par. Mine literally just watched me and was texting on his phone during the entire session. There was no actual plan for me. Awful company, awful experience and waste of money. read more

Initially I was assigned a trainer who had some scheduling issues, and with one text to Ryan, I had a reply from the team and a new trainer assigned within a day. The trainer I was assigned (Ken) has been the perfect blend of patient, demanding, and encouraging. I look forward to my sessions as a highlight of my week and I already feel like I'm learning and progressing faster than I would have on my own. He's even helping me to maintain my nutrition goals. The nutritionist I spoke to (Daniela) gave me some great strategies to build out a regimen that would fit into my daily activities and be sustainable while providing sufficient nutritional support for my recovery between sessions. And there's no option to end the contract without paying extra if you're not happy with the trainer. When I expressed concern about this business model, sales person started to gaslight me and be like 'We're helping you make commitment to your health.
