Updating my review to note that I was contacted by the CX manager who admitted that they have a gap in their policy and how they do their billing. He issued me a refund and asked for feedback on how they could do better in the future. I felt like he genuinely wanted to do better. We love our trainer and have enjoyed the service. Now that the billing issue is fixed, will continue working with Svetness to improve my health. read more

Do not sign up - they are sticklers for a contract and dont show up or follow up until they want their money.

Please dont fall for this nonsense scam. This is totally a scam. I was looking for a personal trainer and jeff who was the one who was connected to me to get my goal on why and where i wanna be in my fitness goal. The first thing he had to do was charge me $900 for the program that i was gonna get. I thought it is a good deal and i paid for it and it was for 3 month. I asked jeff multiple times if i dont like tge service can i get my money back and he said yes let us know a month before and today im still trying to figure out if they even have a trainer. They made me feel like im gonna get the best out form them and now it all looks like they did it for money. I have been ghosted by them. read more

Svetness Personal Training - I paid $900 for nothing???? - Trainers Near Me

1. They couldn't keep any trainers, we signed an one year contract and changed 4 trainers, still counting. All because of trainers leaving, not us. 2. Difficult to reach their customer service. The email get ghosted, and customer phone line would let you listen to 5 ads, then hang up on you. 3. Difficult to get out of the contract. If you couldn't use up your contracted sessions(e.g. due to trainers kept changing), they will not refund you. So essentially you lose money. Do not do business with this company. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My experience with Svetness has been a disturbing lesson in how easily a company can manipulate vague contracts, gaslight clients, and resort to desperate, unethical tactics when challenged. I signed a 12-month personal training agreement in good faith, expecting professionalism, expertise, and respect. What I received instead was a mismatched trainer, a dismissive customer service team, and a company willing to ignore boundaries, disregard basic ethics, and pursue payment at all costs. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Unqualified Trainer: I clearly stated I needed a bodybuilding coach. What I got was a glorified workout buddy with none of the experience or credentials necessary to meet my fitness goals. I expressed dissatisfaction early on and was denied meaningful resolution. Medical Emergency? They Don't Care: In December 2023, I underwent emergency surgery. I notified Svetness in writing and explained I could not continue. I also informed them I would not be continuing the program. Their response? Not concern or professionalism -- instead, they demanded a doctor's note not required anywhere in the contract. There is no cancellation clause in their agreement, no outlined procedure for medical hardship, and no mention of medical documentation requirements. These demands are fabricated post hoc and meant to confuse and intimidate clients. Predatory Fine Print: The contract has no clear exit plan for clients, no hardship clause, and no ethical process to disengage. This seems intentional -- and it's exactly how they trap people. Ignored Warnings, Continued Harassment: I sent a final, clearly worded email instructing Svetness to cease all contact. They ignored it. Instead, they attempted to continue billing me, even generating an invoice dated January 2024 -- after I had formally ended all communication. The invoice didn't even include a total. How do you send a bill with no amount attached, months after all services have ceased and contact was revoked? One Year of Silence, Then Sudden Collections Threats: Over a year after our last meaningful communication, Svetness resurfaced out of nowhere with threats of internal collections. If this sounds like harassment -- it's because it is. Widespread Pattern of Abuse: After doing my own research, I discovered I'm not alone. Svetness has a documented pattern of manipulating clients, enforcing shady billing practices, and strong-arming people into paying for services they didn't use, want, or benefit from. Their reviews on multiple platforms tell the same story over and over again. This is not a health and wellness company. This is a predatory billing operation hiding behind the facade of fitness. Avoid Svetness at all costs. You're better off finding a certified independent trainer, supporting your local gym, or managing your own program than trusting this company with your health, money, or time. Their lack of integrity is staggering. Their desperation is telling. Their business model is broken. You've been warned. Snapshots of conversation avalible upon request read more

Cancellation? They Pretended Not to See It Do not use their services. They not only missed my request to cancel my account, but they also kept charging me even after I called and texted them to say they were not allowed to keep using my card. This service acts as if they are scammers. Very disappointed. read more

I had a looong phone interview with a high pressure sales person who tried to get me to sign up for way more than I wanted to. Finally we settled on a three month contract. What he didn't tell me was that my obligation to pay didn't end at three months-it continued until I gave 30 days notice. I've been ill throughout the whole time, but figured I'd have to pay three months anyway. When I caught on that I was still paying I called, emailed and texted. No one got back to me and I just had another debit on my account. And I won't even get into how flighty my trainer was. It seemed like a good idea. It wasn't. Deceptive sales person, negligent customer service. Get your exercise by running away from this company. read more

Trey Fannin makes each personal training session incredible - Svetness really listened to what I was looking for when they paired us up. Everything feels completely tailored to my body and goals, with every movement intentional and purposeful. Trey doesn't just go through the motions; he really hones in on form, muscle activation, and pacing to make sure I get the most out of every rep. I leave feeling stronger, more aligned, and genuinely seen. I wanted to learn about what I was doing and told that to Svetness - and Trey delivers every time. I'm not just mindlessly working out but finding out how and why movement comes together. This is what a custom workout should feel like. read more

My husband gifted me 12 sessions. the first trainer was terrible. lost 3 weeks of workouts waiting for a few trainer. Then unknown to me, my account was transferred to monthly even though i still had sessions remaining and I was charged for new sessions. I did not authorize the monthly billing, and will get billed again for another month. because of their "30 day clause". overall, will be charged $720 for unauthorized sessions. the company and its customer service is severely lacking. I called their customer service, with no help. was told to call another manager, Vadim Drumea, who's phone goes to voicemail and big surprise - mail box is full. youre better off finding your own personal trainer without all these gimmicks and charges. 5 stars for my current trainer. read more

My experience with Svetness was not good. They could not care less if my trainer left 20 minutes early each training session, or if he was texting and on his phone throughout my training session. I paid $3,500 up front for 60 sessions. They have shady business practices, and once they've got your money and credit card number you need to watch out for all the ways they're going to try to bilk you. Fees and rules, like your sessions that you have paid for have an expiration date. If you don't use your sessions in the specified amount of time, then they make you pay more money just to use the sessions that you've already paid for. They're ridiculous. Svetness sucks. read more

Svetness Personal Training has been providing personal training for my elderly father for 10 sessions one to two times per week. Jon, his personal trainer, has been very good about giving a good range of exercises to strenghthen his body. He also ensures that my father is safe by making sure he does not fall during the exercises, checking his heart rate/O2 sat and giving periodic recovery breaks. Overall my father has improved his strength and endurance through these training sessions. He really enjoys the sessions a lot and wants to keep them going. read more

I've been getting training once a week for about a month now. I love it. I feel like I'm barely working out but then I'm so sore the following days. I can see how my body is changing already too. I love that the work out are specifically made for my needs. read more

Great trainers and convenient flexibility in time and training methods is essential to good service here and they've marked those boxes. Alyssa and Massimo work(ed) with me and I'm making lots of progress. It's been very challenging but within reasonable range. The account managers are really trying to make sure we have a great experience. It's like another part of the whole experience to have someone that makes sure you're getting what you need out of your service. Arturo has been a wonderful account manager. The progress I made with Svettness is amazing for the price I paid. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Svetness Personal Training - Trainers Near Me

Mediocre tech powered and highly disorganized with entry level customer service skills, Svetness tries to Uber and Airbnb you personal trainers right to your home. The trainers are great and they do their thing. Svetness is a mess though and they make the whole process cumbersome with their middleman nonsense. Build a platform, then support it with service. They haven't done either. Svetness jettisoned all account managers shortly after I joined and went to a model where you deal with whoever answers the phone. That made the service much worse as I felt like the only person I ever talked to was some intern. My trainer was great, but great people move on and she did...to another career in law enforcement. Svetness didn't assign another trainer for three weeks. The new trainer then quit before we had our first session. After a come to Jesus meeting and indication of my intent to initiate legal action, yet another trainer was assigned. This guys seems to be working out. Billing is a little concerning. At the rate Svetness is billing me, I'm not using as many sessions as I'm accumulating. I'll have sessions left over at the end of my contract that I probably won't be able to use unless I renew for another year. Do yourself a favor and just get a trainer. read more

Started with Svetness earlier this month, and so far very happy! The personal trainer, David, is excellent. He comes to my home a couple of times per week and is professional, reliable, and knowledgeable in his field. I also had a consultation with Daniela to discuss nutrition and how to get burning more fat. I loved that she incorporates things you are already eating, so it is not too cumbersome to sustain. Would recommend. read more

These people are an absolute scam. They get your credit card, charge you monthly. Stay they have a trainer assigned to you and that person flakes out. Then they refuse to refund your money even though you never got a single service. RUN AWAY from this company. My trainer Chris is awesome. We communicate everyday, which keeps me on task, he allows no lacking or excuses. I have started to gain mussels and strengthen my body. I have gone from lifting 8 lbs. of weight up to 20 lbs. in just a couple of months. My arms and legs are getting stronger, I'm feeling good with lots more energy. read more

We are not satisfied with services. They rescheduled session in very last minutes. I had to move and cancel my plans. Then they sent us an unfit and unhealthy trainer. I asked for a female trainer and they sent me a male trainer. When we asked about terminating our contract with them, they gave us a buy-out option which didn't make any sense. Horrible service. I do not recommend this company for your health because they will surely give you more stress. read more

Complete and total scam. Said I had to pay in full so that they could "match" me with a trainer. I did and it never happened. Called their "customer service" and got jerked around some more. I have been out of the workout game for years due to injuries... a bunch from working out. I connected with Svetness to get restarted and get exercises that wouldn't damage me. I got what I expected. My trainer, Kalon, is easy to work with. He even goes above workouts. As my balance is bad, the last 15 minutes of my workouts are dedicated to balance walking. It is going terrifically. I have been able to stop PT early because of it. Kalon has even made videos for me to use on my own. I haven't hurt myself working out. And I've made progress. The staff I have interacted with have been patient, kind and understanding. Everything I wanted and expected from a training service I have received. I highly recommend them. read more

I had an initial consultation call with Jeff and I have nothing but positive words to say about our initial call. Prior to speaking with Jeff, I've had consultation calls with 2 other companies and felt they tried to force sell me their PT packages and without actually listening to my concerns. Jeff was empathetic, informative, and wasn't forceful at all. He provided his suggestions to me and provided the reason why he recommended it and allowed me time to think and speak. Hands down one of the better calls I've had. Would recommend anyone to take a call with Svetness if you're considering a PT. read more

Strength and balance work was terrific. Thank you very much thank you, thank you thank you

I can't say enough good things about Svetness! They teamed me up with Erick P. who has to be the best training coach I ever had. He knows when to push me through my next set but he also knows when K have truly met my limitations. Svetness lives up to their reputation and the app is easy to use as well. I started training at home and we eventually moved to the gym. The only reason we did that was for more and better equipment. read more

This program is excellent. They asked a lot of questions before assigning a personal trainer and he is perfect.

@Nicole is the best! She comes to The Tides twice a week and every time I come to her class, I leave refreshed and revitalized. ‍

I found a great trainer. He is very diligent and makes sure I am using good form. He pushes me enough to get the results I need. The free app is helpful and I can communicate with my trainer as well as customer service! read more

This is an update to the review we posted on Jan 3, 2025. We have continued our fitness training with our trainer Kristhel from Svetness and still believe we made the best decision we could back in Jan. We have been completely satisfied with the Svetness management/program administration, and most importantly, with Kristhel. We like working with Kristhel so much, we decided on an open ended contract which renews monthly at our current price until we decide otherwise. Svetness/Kristhel has allowed us to be very flexible in scheduling sessions. While we usually have two per week, we are able to cancel or reschedule our sessions depending on our travel schedule, visitors/guests, and unanticipated health problems. Our experience with Svetness/Kristhel has been completely positive--we have no reservations recommending them. read more

I booked with Svetness because there was both the physical training and the nutrition aspect included within the contracted price. So far, having met twice with my personal trainer Penelope Benjamin, and with my nutritionist Andrea Interiano today -- I really feel that I am in good hands. I feel that I have a very caring, supportive team -- already improving the quality of life for this 62-year-old! The work is challenging, yes. But the work is customized to me. That is amazing! read more

Do Not use this program. They will get a sales person on the call and promise you the world but look to charge you extra fees and do not care about the customer at all. I agreed to 12 sessions, which I made the mistake of prepaying for. The salesguy said that I could extend those 12 sessions past the 3 month period (assuming 1 session a week) if I did not use them. Additionally, the trainer I got assigned was a no show and late multiple times. The company did reach out and provided me alternative options but it was too late. The 3 month period passed and they auto-charged me an additional $300 because of a "clause" in their contract, since I did not give them a 30 day notice. They never sent me a notification that the 3 month period was coming upon closure, they didn't honor the 6 unused sessions, and they refuse to give me a refund. The trainers themselves are sub-par. Mine literally just watched me and was texting on his phone during the entire session. There was no actual plan for me. Awful company, awful experience and waste of money. read more

I've always known what I *should* eat, but my relationship with food hasn't always been healthy. Working with Daniela has been a game-changer for me. She's helped me shift my focus toward what my body truly needs to thrive and supported me in transforming old habits. Our monthly check-ins are invaluable--she helps me navigate my nutritional challenges, from selecting the right supplements for better sleep to figuring out how to meet my protein goals. Just enlisted myself into their personal training program! Seems promising. I had a consultation meeting with Jeff and he was super awesome, very friendly, informative and easy to talk to. The options that Sventness has for you are set specifically to work around you so you can achieve your fitness goals. Whether that's working out from home or a gym alongside a nutritionist. That's the foundation for success I believe. read more

RUN! This company is a scam. You won't know anything about your trainer before you sign the contract. And there's no option to end the contract without paying extra if you're not happy with the trainer. When I expressed concern about this business model, sales person started to gaslight me and be like 'We're helping you make commitment to your health. Don't you think not being able to make commitment is what gets you to this place?' Very aggressive and rude. Even during the consulting session, the guy keeps digging into the story why I want to get a personal trainer. I told him I just want to get fit and explained what kind of training I'm looking for and what specific parts of my body I want to work on. But apparently he needs 'deeper' answers. He keeps asking why, what triggers me to make changes, am I not satisfied with myself, why.... Dude you're a PT not a therapist okay? Terrible experience. I would rate 0 star if I could. Now I just want my money back. Customer service is hard to get in contact with and slow to process my request read more

For those who've enjoyed the service provided I'm sure it's been an enjoyable exercise. Sometimes life changes and certain services are no longer needed in your life. We'll like those annoying gym memberships that you could t get rid off that what's this company is but more costly. I tried repeated to stop them from charge my account but they've done nothing but play games. I don't want their services but they won't cancel the account. This year 18 others have file complaints with BBB. The moral of the story is to think twice to make sure this is what you need and want in your life. This company has become a disease to my life, degrading mental and financial health.
