    Today, at H&M in Coquitlam, BC, I had the most horrible experience ever. I came to the store with…read moremy 12-year-old son to return the sweatpants we bought for him yesterday. The return was because the seam had come apart after he had worn them for 30 minutes at home. We had with us a receipt, labels, and sweatpants. The manager refused to refund the money and return the product because my son had worn it for 30 minutes at home. I was outraged by it and shamed them publicly for being wrong. The manager pointed to a receipt and stated there are no returns on items after they are worn. I said to her that they were selling damaged goods, and refused to accept it back when there was a problem with it a day later. Since my son only had them on for half an hour at home, I tried to persuade her to proceed with the return. It wasn't something like he made a hole by being negligent; it was a faulty product, and a big hole was there because the seam had come apart. The manager also refused to give me her name and went on the walkie-talkie to call security on me. I managed to take her photo when she was calling security. We left the store before security showed up. I am attaching a picture of the back side of the receipt, pants with the hole in them, and tags. The refund policy says the return is 30 days, in original condition.

    I recently bought my kids their back to school clothes at H&M, as I always do. The store was very…read morebusy and I can totally understand why the check out lady was overwhelmed. When I got home (an hour and a halfs drive from the nearest H&M) i realized the tags were still on a few of the multi packs i bought. So, naturally I emailed. At first i got a great response and was told they completely understand why cant just drive to return as i live too far away. They put me in touch with the back office to organize the refund. Then started the very long thread of emails. I had to keep sending photos of the tags then the receipt, then the price, tags, then they needed the wash label from inside the clothes and then they asked me to send more photos of the tags and so on. It is still not resolved and it looks like after 3 weeks it might never be. I am so disappointed.

Why? 1) The eye test was completely incorrect based on my new eye test at another clinic. 2) Trying to get reimbursement for the charge to my medical plan was a battle with the horrible women at this centre. I had to return a second time to this Eye Centre and insist they credit my Blue Cross Plan. My new Optometrist informed me there was not credit to my medical plan, therefore I had to pay out of hand to redo my eye test correctly. 3) New optometrist redid the eye test, informed me that I had a fungal infection on both eye / lashes. It cost me $200. for the medicated drops, fungal pads and eye pads and the cost of the eye test because of this horrible Port Moody Eye Care Centre. This led to NO COVERAGE. 4) The volatility of two of the receptionists from Port Moody with rolling of eyes, denial that the credit didn't go through and refusal to acknowledge is typical of Port Moody businesses that lack customer services these days. I will be calling Blue Cross to determine if the credit has been applied to my plan? Avoid this terrible company and save yourselves the Grief.
