Even though there were two sales people in the tiny shop neither of them so much as acknowledged my presence the whole time I was there. They manoeuvred around me, passed me, stood near me, all while completely ignoring me. I waited by the till while a staff member wrote up something, hoping for at least "I'll be with you in a moment," but no. She finished what she was doing, turned and walked away. There WERE other customers in the store that they were assisting, but does that preclude a quick smile or hello to a new customer? I had questions about a couple of items and waited patiently. To no avail. I may as well not have been there. I gave up, left and won't return. If you like browsing $200 T-shirts and $400 sweaters while being ignored by staff, Twist is the place for you.

This little shop that opened in November 2010 is laid out well. They don't carry many of the same design so there isn't a 'size L' fear of another b/f wearing the same hip design. Could you imagine!? I think the average price for shirts are $29 - steal of a deal for a high quality cotton shirt. Inexpensive for the price, service, fun atmosphere this store has. Will this make laundry fun?!

I've been to their retail location, however, it is good to see them in a DIY craft setting since their fashions fit the majority of the demographic in attendance. Realizing she was wrong said I could get a store credit ( insisting she was doing me a favour). I told her I don't shop here and would like a refund instead. Thats when the store manager stepped and said we can't. And that my boyfriend would have been informed that it was in store credit only. Which he was not. The store is tucked away on Granville St (very close to Urban Outfitters and Brandy Melville). Their selection of clothing always gets me and the prices are reasonable for what you get. I would say the style is similar to aritzia but at a slightly lower price point which is a plus! Because their clothing pieces are slightly more delicate, I always tend to wash them inside a mesh bag or to wash them inside out. It's all about the dainty necklaces here. This is my go-to for dainty and simple necklaces, the quality is good and the styles are great and affordable. From time to time they have accessories sale which ends up being a bargain. Check this place out but be warned, you might leave the store with a bit less in your wallet but in a good way! Recent purchase: Their grey pocket tee is one of the softest tees I've ever owned.
