    Egusi soup

I'm new to West African food and only had it a few times. I walked in and was greeted by the sweetest lady who was helpful and walked me thru the different dishes. I got home and couldn't wait to call the store to tell her how pleased I was. Thumbs up and will be returning soon

The food was flavorful with just the right amount of spice regards to what I ordered. The rice was fluffy with nice texture. The cornbread was delicious, and the chicken was seasoned well but the portions were too meager. It was rice for the majority. The veggies were good also and fairly portioned. Tasty sauce drizzled atop, adding to the flavor profile. The service was friendly and there is seating inside if you prefer to eat in versus take out. The plating seemed a bit too informal for a restaurant. I think presentation could be improved. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and with some tweaks it'll be even better.

As a fellow Nigerian, I'm always on the hunt for places that capture my favorite food and Suya Suya did not disappoint! I got the chicken suya bowl and it was seasoned perfectly. I asked for the suya sauce on the side instead of directly on the rice. The plantains were also delicious. I'm already looking forward to going back!! Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful Nigerian food.

This was the perfect place to explore the cuisine from the continent. I had the pilau which consisted of rice, beef and veggies. The beef was so tender and the seasoning on the dish was perfect. I also had the chickpea samosas which were wonderful and the freshly made mango pineapple juice was delicious and super refreshing. The restaurant itself is so intimate and the African art all over the wall was fun to look at as we dined. Chef Tina is not only a brilliant cook but a warm and welcoming host too. They could tell it was our first time so they talked us through the menu and made spot-on recommendations. She even saved my meal by stopping me from dumping on her special hot sauce without trying it first. I tested and it was a bit too intense for me but if you love super spicy food then you will be in heaven. A great meal and worth the price I think. Just be sure to bring cash for tip or tell them to add it on before swiping your card. They definitely earn a big one here. Can't wait to go back!!
