Egusi. Bunch of oil with barely any egusi in it (which they mixed with potato greens so it's not even the real egusi) and two meat.

The customer service is terrible. Whoever runs this place needs to do better. They are very stingy when it comes to giving meat. I paid $18 for some soup & fufu.. I only got one fufu and they changed the size of the soup they give you. Overall I'm done with this place I'd rather drive to Musu kitchen in Bristol or go all the way to philly for better food and service at a reasonable price. The prices at precious kitchen don't match the food portion.. it's a low key scam. Oh and did I say they're unprofessional and RUDE??

Several years ago, my mother brought west African food, the flavors were rich and it was like nothing I had ever eaten. After that time apparently the chef had went back to Liberia and total I may have eaten a dish at the time I didn't know the name (fried potatoe greens, the chicken cooked in the greens was still crunchy even after driving home, the chef is passionate about her food and this really shows attention to technique) 2017 I found this place had the dish I was looking for they allowed me to taste test until I found what I was looking for and everything I taste tested was great as well. The staff was very nice to me, warm and friendly welcome. I can't wait to go back!!!!! I think the place could use more lighting and work on the decor. But as far as flavor and food . One star left out due to ambiance. Enjoy!!!!

Okay so prior to my last experience I ate her food all the time. My last experience was terrible I found a beetle in my food, then Precious the owner accused me of lying on her and basically placing the bug in my own food trying to "sabotage" her. For 1 the way she handled the situation was unprofessional, instead of taking ownership and making sure it never happened again, she lied and lied. Secondly she has her children playing around in the food that her customers are buying to consume. She needs to reevaluate The way she runs her business.

I ordered the suya steak bowl $12 meal box for delivery. It came with corn bread, jollof rice and…read morecarrots and broccoli. I think the deal was 100% worth it for all of the food I got. I asked for medium heat and it wasn't really spicy at all. I'm Caribbean and no stranger to African spices, it wasn't really spicy to me. I might go up a level next time. I'm not complaining, but this information could be helpful to others. I asked for both sauces to try, they were both really good. The red one was really spicy and the white was a good blend for the food if you want to tone it down. The food was really good and I would def order again.

Takeout: This was my first time having African food and it was oh so good. The fufu was slightly…read moresticky and mild in flavor, an extremely great base for the egusi. The flavor of the egusi was very unique and something I've never had before. It was spicy, nutty, and filled with umami flavor. I could not stop eating it! The chicken leg inside was SO tender and delicious. It was a generous portion as well, I was able to share it with my bf and we still had leftovers for the day after (both the fufu and the egusi). As for the chicken suya bowl, I believe we had the jollof rice with plantains, chicken, and cabbage and onions with suya suya sauce. The jollof rice was seasoned and flavorful. The chicken was tender and brought a bit of a kick. The suya suya sauce was mild but creamy and paired well with the cabbage and inions. The plantains were a bit sweet but they were tasty and helped cut a bit of the oil. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back to try other dishes. So good!
