Tx and buying an established practice is even better for me because I don't have to hike from the parking lot of a hospital-centered professional building, through a maze of offices and finally wait 45 min to see her. She has an amazing bedside manor that makes you feel like your were with an experience professional that cared about not only just doing my cleaning but making sure I was comfortable through out the whole process. I struggled with the Dr. that I saw that first visit because she seemed cold and uncaring and I never had to see her again. Which was a plus. On my second visit I was able to see Tarina, RDH again who remembered me and made my entire experience feel again like I was in good hands and didn't need to worry. Dr. Shanker took over my case and I couldn't have been more lucky! He's also very invested in making sure I'm involved in my care plan. He answers every question, takes his time and makes me feel like my feelings matter. When I am with other specialists or hygienist he always goes out of his way to check on me and say hello. His attention to detail and bedside manor has drastically decreased the level of anxiety I experience going into a dental appointment. Dr. Rossi a visiting specialist was an absolute rockstar in his specialty. My visit with him was quick but he sat down before my procedure and talked me through it. I asked him if I could wear my headphones because I was nervous and he without hesitation said yes we'll use hand signals if you need anything. All around amazing experience. Jessica the office manager goes out of her way to help me coordinate visits and assist with the documentation I need for my insurance & FSA. But Dr Hurd was recommended to me and I've had an ongoing issue with an ever-worsening FRONT tooth loosening after a facial injury many years ago. Dr Hurd was the first dentist I've seen who took this issue in hand, dealt with it immediately, and gave me a very positive outlook and prognosis. Not guaranteed but positive. I was expecting to lose this tooth either through eating or because it had to be removed. From the first interaction with this practice I was impressed. Insurance issues - resolved. Front desk - great. Nurses - Julie and Sneed (sp?) lovely, and Dr Hurd himself? So gentle, so caring, so kind, such a nice man. I've been to 'gentle dental' clinics and they don't know what they are talking about. Dr Hurd is an angel and he is the first dentist to whom I ever said "I could hug you" after my visit. Treating a 5-year-old child can be challenging, especially when sedation is needed, but this office handled the situation with great care and professionalism. Dr. Fatayer ended up being my attending dentist. I am extremely satisfied with his work and demeanor. I was a bit of a difficult case. I have a small mouth and the tooth had three roots; which were some what twisted. Even with that, to me, the procedure went smoothly. He showed me the x-rays and explained the entire procedure (while answering my questions) before he started and also kept me up-to-date throughout the process. Let's not forget the dental assistant and the support staff. For me, even if the doctor is amazing, I will not go back to him/her if the staff is off-putting. The assistant was very attentive to details and made sure I understood everything she was doing before, during, and after the procedure. More over, she had a positive attitude and seemed to genuinely care about my well being. I found Autumn, at the front desk, to be a positive, friendly and attentive person. She explained the pricing of the procedure and made sure my appointment was scheduled at my convenience. She also explained that they would be sending a copy of my file and x-rays, which the doctor would be reviewing and making any additional notes, to my general dentist (included in the price). A card, requesting a follow-up visit, will be sent to me in 6 months, as well (included in the price). That tells me that they care about their patients and the quality of their work. There are two other points I would like to touch on: Care Credit and cleanliness. They DO except Care Credit and the entire facility was extremely clean; everything looked brand new. It is a one stop shop for modern dental care. Dr Tabrizi is kind, honest, and professional. Holly the hygienist went above and beyond. I came in expecting a routine cleaning, but she immediately recognized I needed deeper care. She performed laser scaling (think of a water pick on crack), so intense it required numbing My teeth have never felt this clean. This made all of my prior cleanings feel like a joke.
