I have been going to this office for over 4+ years and it wasn't bad but the past year has been horrific!!! This year's events were so bad that in all honesty I would never recommend this dental office to anyone. First of all, I've always questioned the cleanliness of this facility. I decided maybe it was because of the time of my appointment and possibly a heavy volume of traffic. The floors were ALWAYS dirty like it hadn't been moped all week or longer. I was told in June 2023 that I would need to get a root canal or crown. I elected to go with the crown. My procedure was scheduled for September 2023. That was the worst experience I've EVER had. Dr. Moore was short, rude, appeared to be rushing and very insensitive to the pain I was experiencing. I don't have a low tolerance for pain so the fact he was displaying total lack of compassion was very upsetting. He also made an unflattering comment/joke that had me questioning his thoughts about race. Nonetheless, I made it through this procedure barely. I was given a shot/gum injection (to this day I don't know what I was given) to supposedly stop the bleeding. I did call the office to obtain information of the type of shot/gum injection I received but the person taking calls this particular day was like a broken record telling me that they don't give shots/injections. Ma'am I'm the one who received it so I know for a fact it happened. I leave the office and the nightmare begins and continued until yesterday (November 13th). I was initially okay the first few days but as the weekend approached, I was in so much pain on the entire right side of my mouth. Taking medication played no factor in getting any type of relief. I called to the office to inquire if this type of pain was normal. I felt like whomever I spoke to blew me off (again no compassion). I literally had to take off 3 or 4 days from work because I was in so much pain leading up to the follow-up appointment to get the temporary crown removed and the new crown inserted. Like another individual stated below, Dr. Moore's short, rude demeanor returned. He had the audacity to question my pain and that's when I had enough of him and his bad attitude. I told him that I have a high tolerance of pain and I didn't appreciate how he was speaking/treating me as a patient. He apologized but the damage was already done. TWICE!!!! I was basically crying through the entire procedure because I was in so much pain. I just wanted to be done with him and this entire office. ***This is just a somewhat brief synopsis of what really happen because its literally too much to type to capture it all in great detail*** I thought the saga was over once I cried standing there paying for this procedure. Nope...I received my explanation of benefits and discovered that I've overpaid this office. I contacted my insurance carrier to verify I was interpreting it correctly in which I was. Long story short I had to go back and forth with Julie in order to receive my refund. My employer had to get involved to assist me with the matter. And Julie had the nerve to act like she was following what the insurance representative stated (she is a fraud if I've ever seen one). Dr. Moore is great! I've been going here for a couple of years and I really like the place. I do feel that Dr. Moore will take a 'wait-and-see' attitude toward your teeth rather charge you over every little thing. I have found him to be very personable and I've recommended him to a couple of my friends. The staff is very nice as well and overall I'm very happy to go here so I never miss my cleanings! Dr. Moore is great along with his hygienist, but the receptionist that makes the appts is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Debbie did not know how to handle a patient communication about an appointment. She cancelled my appointment based on a misunderstanding on HER part and the situation should have been handled in a much more professional manner. Instead she argued with me and told me I said things that I absolutely DID NOT say. TLDR; Dr. Moore and his hygienist are great. Debbie is not and the customer service is terrible at the front desk. read more

Not sure if my dentist cares about Yelp, but I feel pressured to say something positive since I'm the first/only review. Luckily, I truly do have positive things to say. Dr. Michael Moore was recommended to my family when our previous dentist retired. He's a nice man and seems to be a very competent dentist. My parents and I have all had lots of dental work done by Dr. Moore and it's all been great. One thing I really like about Dr. Moore is I believe you can trust him; he doesn't seem overly eager to do unnecessary work on your teeth. He will notify you of a potential problem, but then let you know if it can wait. I really appreciate this because, like most non-dentists, I don't know much about dental health and could be easily deceived. I recently had my first crown done my Dr. Moore and I haven't had a single issue with it, so far. The ambiance of the place is pretty fancy/new and the staff are generally pretty nice. I would definitely recommend this dental practice, especially Dr. Moore. read more

Hands down BEST DENTIST ever!!!! Dr. Moore is thorough and has a great bedside manner. I was seen immediately upon arrival, and he made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed durning my procedure today. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a dentist! I also want to compliment his front office and back office staff who helped me during my visit! His nurse who assisted him during my procedure and the lady who verifies insurance benefits/check out are super sweet and very helpful! True TEAMWORK!!!! I made an appointment here after one of my molars broke. I hadn't been to a dentist in a very, very long time. I was so scared. Tears were flowing before I even got in the exam chair. Not a single person at this office ever made me feel embarrassed or ashamed for neglecting my own dental health. The WORST dentist I ever went to in my life!!!!!!!! Every time I went to the office I waited 4 hours before I could get out of there, even for simple procedures. And he was terrible at numbing my mouth!! Plus he didn't even care if it was dumb or not when he started drilling. He put two crowns in my mouth and they fell out shortly after he put them in. And I have been told by 3 dental professionals and shown on a dental camera that he did a terrible job with those crowns. They have large "overhangs" as they called them which makes it easy to trap food particles and difficult to clean properly. My current dentist says the work is bad enough that I need new crowns. In addition to all this, while trying to numb my mouth during one visit Michael Moore hit a spot that made my whole body jump involuntarily. He got very mad when this happened, yelled at me and stormed out of the room. I was quite shaken by all of this and then the nurse came over to me and put her hand on me and said that wasn't my fault. She said that the he had hit the main nerve running through my jaw and it was an involuntary action that made my body jump like that. So I say what kind of dentist doesn't know enough to go and hit that nerve and then goes and yells at the patient about it!!! This guy is a TERRIBLE dentist!!!!!! read more

We first went to Dr. Moore as a second opinion (referred to us by Space Center Orthodontics...another great place) for my daughter who knocked out her permanent front tooth. The first appointment was really comforting and Dr. Moore (who simply introduced himself as Michael) was nice and sympathetic to my daughters situation. After he learned of what happened, he took action and knew exactly what a long range plan would be for her. School was about to start in a few weeks and I was going out of town, so as a mom, my major concern was that she have some kind of tooth before the first day of school started. He and his staff really understood my concern and made it happen. She has a great flipper that fits perfectly and we have had no issues with it. He also was able to rush us out to make her Orthodontist appointment to complete her look. I really appreciate all this office has done and the comfort and personal level of Dr. Moore. Beautiful and clean office. That is the only nice thing to be said. The staff is uncaring and very unprofessional. Dr. Moore seems more concerned about making money than he is about taking care of his patients. I have been to many dentists over the years and my overall experience was horrible. I am in more pain now than before I saw him and he insists that everything is fine and does not address my concerns. I would never recommend this dentist! read more
