It had the consistency of few day old pot roast that they warmed real quick and put some bbq sauce on it. The bun was a bit stale too. The coleslaw was good. We ordered a jalapeño burger and the grilled chicken club sandwich. The jalapeño burger was supposed to be 1/2 lb Angus beef. It did have good flavor and cooked right, but it was a very small burger. The grilled chicken avacado club sandwich had one slice of bacon on it, not a deal breaker but the chicken wasn't grilled. Not sure how it was cooked, but not on a grill. It had a lot of seasoning on it and yet the sandwich was underwhelming. The produce seemed like it was yesterday's produce. The fries were also just ok. Didn't seem like there was any salt. They did sprinkle some chopped cilantro on top which looked nice. Overall we did enjoy the patio and peacefulness of our lunch there, and we do hope to see some improvements in quality and maybe better portion sizes for the cost. The only improvements I can think of are the bathrooms are kinda gross (which is typical for this kind of place but still), and the tap list tends to be dominated by IPAs. I feel like it could use some lighter options in the summer and darker options in winter (bring back Alagash White!). But all around this is a great community watering hole. Great place to throw one back with friends, strike up a conversation with a stranger, or just enjoy the deck vibes by yourself.
