This review is specific to our experience today. We ordered food to go and came home to one dish that had no spice or salt. It was terrible. I called the restaurant and the worker, Wendy, said to bring the food back so she could taste it. (What??) I explained that I have the flu and she may get sick if she did so. She said there was nothing she could do and that she wanted to make sure the food tasted bad. This is beyond insulting. I have never complained about food but I cannot imagine that is normal. I eat here at last once every few weeks and had never had an experience like this - both quality of food and customer service. I asked for another worker who also said they couldn't do anything. I asked for a manager or owner and he said they were not there. This is totally unacceptable. We try and support smaller, local restaurants but if the service is so lacking, I will discontinue my business with this restaurant. It makes me sad to write this review but the experience was completely awful. read more

This was a great find - thank you yelp! It is hard to find semi-decent thai food in orange county - not even on those pricy newport and laguna beach areas. This is a tiny place - about 5-6 tables, but it is very clean and doesn't feel cheap. The food is delicious. We order kung pao, pad thai, red curry, panang curry and another dish - I dont remember the name, but each was awesome. So you can close you eyes and order anything. Next time I want to try the seafood platter and the mango rice desert that everyone is raving about. The owners are really polite and very friendly. The place is small so its get filled quickly. So we had to wait for quite some time, but we grabbed the menu and placed the order before we were seated. We were prepared to do a take out in case we did not get a table by the time the food was ready. I would eat here every day if it was closer to my work. But I am definitely going back at least once a month and get a week's worth of takeout :P read more

This place is delish!! Small mom and pop Thai place in Tustin. Yes it is quite small, probably holds 20 people or less. So be prepared to wait. Service could be better, but they only have 1 person doing almost everything, so it's understandable. We ordered pad see ew, chicken panang, and fried won tons. All were tasty and delish. Daisy mint in Pasadena is still my #1 Thai place, but since it's quite far, Sutha Thai is my new #1 for Irvine/Tustin area. FYI, hard to find...it's located in a small shopping area of 3-4 stores, it's next to a salon and dry clean/alteration shop. read more

OK, so here is the deal, food is good Thai food for the OC. But the price, service and wait times means that it can only rate 2 stars at best. If you are not the first 6 people in line, you can't sit inside. If you do sit inside, expect a long wait before they can help you. We usually have to call ahead and order for pick-up but who wants to wait 75 minutes for that? They need a bigger place and a lot more help. This could be a 4 star place with a little effort, legroom and some lessons in customer service. read more

You can order to go or sit in...even though there is usually always a lot of people there at lunch time because it is soo good...the service is always fast and exceptional! The citrus/spicy dressing they put on the salad is delicious. The place is tiny, not a place I would recommend if you're in a rush. Three of us came here on a Saturday late lunch. Since the very small place is packed, we had to sit outside on the patio. We ordered Egg Rolls, Beef Panang, & Pad See Ew. There are 4 pcs of egg rolls cut in half. The beef panang was served on a very small bowl. The pad see ew was on a big plate, but the portion's very small. Yes it's delicious, but very small portions. Usually when you go to a typical Thai place the portions are reasonable. I will not come back here. read more

I have ordered from online menu and it was completely different than what I was charged. Instead of special for $11.99 including rice and salad I paid $16.19 without the salad. When I got to pay they said their menu changed but they cannot change it online. As I came home with the food all sauce was spilled out in the plastic back even I was trying to carry it easy. I haven't tried many dishes here but i'm fan of their Spicy Fried rice. I am a regular for the same. The rice is kind of fresh and no while balls here and there like in many places. I judge a Thai restaurant based on their pad thais and curries, and this place get 1 star for both, and another star for being a mom and pop place. The restaurant is small but cozy. We ordered Chicken Panang Curry and it was so delicious with just the perfect spiciness to it. I thought that was very good until I tasted the Duck in red curry. Oh my goodness!!!!! It was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted in my life and I've been to many expensive restaurants. It's a very small place and the prices are pretty cheap, although portions are a little small. It took 30 minutes to get my takeout food. It was nothing too special. The food was okay at best. I will say that the Crab Cream Cheese Wontons were excellent though. They were crispy, flavorful and filled to capacity. Really enjoyed it. I also ordered the Thai BBQ Chicken, Mee Krob and Nam Sod Salad (mild). The chicken was a little dry, the krob was a little too sweet and the salad had way too much lemon grass. Since moving to Southern California two years ago, I had yet to find a great Thai restaurant till now. I'm a pure vegetarian and it's incredibly hard to find Thai places that accommodate this.
