Ayce sushi with scallops and soft shell crab for dinner? Thank you very much. I'll have a lot of it please. I really enjoyed the meal. Though I did have to play finisher again due to some over zealous ordering from my eating mates. The appetizers came out pretty quickly fried oysters were good, soft shell crabs had a thicker batter (don't think it was tempura) ika salad was a favorite amongst our group. The sushi came out in a decent amount of time. Was not too busy when we got there around 6pm, but by 7pm the restaurant was packed full. I think I single handedly cleared their scallop supply I ordered 18 nigiri at a time. I'll definitely put this on my map of places to go for sushi. Good quality and good eating! We were sat in the separate party room area so we didn't really get much of a vibe. But the main dining area allows you see the sushi chefs in action. I noticed that some Japanese men arrived in after work as well, they didn't have the AyCe. But I'll always go for ayce.

My friend recommended this place because she liked their fried oysters which is part of all AYCE Appetizers list. It wqs pretty good and the appetizers were all good. Place is nice and cozy and the AYCE SUSHI was ok too.the service wasnt too bad however, the only complain we had was they never told us that the kitchen as well as the placr was closing so soon after we got there so we could have lessened ot managed our order. Will still come back when in the area. Hopefully early enough to enjoy the food. Happy eating.

We came in for a weekday evening dinner and did the AYCE. The place when we arrived was not that busy but by the end of the evening there was a line and wait to be seated. The nigiri included scallops which is always a plus for AYCE because not all of the AYCE menus have scallop nigiri. There was a bit too much rice for the nigiri and it wasn't that well seasoned and seemed a bit undercooked. The scallops and salmon nigiri were good though. They also had Sea Bass nigiri but when we had ordered it they said they ran out so we never got to try that. They also have a wide range of appetizers to chose from, including soft shell crab, which was a bit over fried. All in all a decent place for AYCE sushi but wished there were certain things that were improved upon, but one of the few places for scallop nigiri in the suburbs.

I can never remember the name of this restaurant and refer to it as the Cat Banner sushi place. Sushi Tsuki is located in a strip mall on Roselle Rd. in Schaumburg. The rolls are fresh and tasty and the service is quick. AYCE Weekday Dinner and All day Sat & Sun $29 - I haven't tried the AYCE here, but the menu looks very similar to the regular menu. Vegetable Tempura $6.50 (8 pieces) - Crispy. Good a variety of veggies: 2 broccoli, 2 sweet potato, 2 mushrooms, an onion, and a piece of zucchini. Nigiri - One piece Salmon Roe - Smoked Salmon - $3.50 ea Salmon - Eel - $3.00 ea Rolls Green Turtle $13 - Creamy fresh avocado and a nice little kick in the middle. Dancing Eel $15 - Creamy from the cream cheese, delicious sauce. Hot sake (small) $5 .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2025

Our group of 10 went here for dinner! We had reservations, so we're in the smaller room away from the main area, which was better! We all did AYCE, pricing wasn't too bad (they had kids pricing too) it's like all the other Japanese AYCE except this one had a few extra choices that the others don't have, like scallop nigiri, Ika Salad, sashimi salad, sea bass nigiri(they were sold out) and mochi ice cream and ice cream! The nigiri is ok because the rice was not really sushi rice and not seasoned well at all! The Chicken Karaage and soft shelled crab were kinda dry and over fried! The mango tango roll , seaweed salad and the fried oysters were not bad! The scallop nigiri was very tasty on the first order but the second batch had a strong fishy taste, not as fresh as the first! The cucumber salad didn't have too much flavor at all, seems like they just pour soy sauce over the slices of cucumbers! I didn't really like how they put chocolate syrup and whip cream on the mochi and ice cream!

Sushi Tsuki is one of our family's favorite restaurants. We typically order the hibachi dinners, and they are delicious! I love their salmon hibachi dinner, and it comes with soup and salad. The fried rice is not too oily, the veggies actually have flavor, and the salmon is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. My mom gets the shrimp hibachi, and always says the shrimp is cooked well. My dad gets the chicken hibachi and the chicken isn't dry. My husband gets the veggie hibachi, which is just two portions of veggies and he can't even finish it. Their veggie deluxe roll and mango tango are really good. They don't skimp on the ingridients. The service here is great. They've always been friendly, and I haven't had a bad experience. The restaurant isn't very big, but big enough that you aren't shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you.

Love the sushi here, service is quick and the vibes are calming. I had it on my radar for a while but im glad I finally went because ive been looking for all you can eat sushi in the suburbs

Overall, the sushi rolls were good. The all you can eat price is competitive. I ordered 3 traditional, 1 signature, and mochi ice cream. Everything was good, but I deducted 1 star due to the long wait. Our server was friendly. The restaurant is small, but the seating is decently spread out.

This is a wonderful place for dinner. Their dinner combos are a bargain. I had a spicy Maki combo. It includes three spicy rolls, miso soup, and how salad. So she is very flavorful and you'll get a lot for the price. Highly recommend for groups. Staff are very polite and very fast service.

Lots of hype surrounding Sushi Tsuki!!!! The experience was very good, and for the location, the experience is a bit surprising from a strip mall sushi place. We dined for lunch on a Saturday. We arrived at 12:15, and when we left at 1:15, the place was full! That's a good sign. Two of us got the salmon sushi bento box. Her is where the star is lost. The salmon had more fishy taste than I would like. I also did not care for the shumai, shrimp balls, again too fishy tasting. The sauce and veggies were good. The other two people got sushi. They were both very pleased with the three rolls they selected. The Sapporo roll got great reviews. The ordered angel hair roll was not an angel roll, we think it was a Rainbow roll. The volcano roll was also good. The staff were nice, and the tea deserves another visit.

A real standout in the AYCE sushi space, after a while most of the places I found in the suburbs started to taste quite similar and have similar menus. That's why I was intrigued when i saw the menu here which offers a different selection from other local spots (fried oysters, scallop sushi, shrimp lollipops, mochi, etc.) at a slightly more premium price. Even if the quality was similar to other AYCE, at least I'd have a bit different selection to choose from. I had read from other reviews some things to watch out for, like preparation time which was a bit slower than similar restaurants, but the quality of the food preparation made it worth the wait. This was not sloppily assembled, and was in fact prepared both in an organized and visually attractive manner. The limited number of larger tables as another thing I was aware of, but there are some options to mix 4+2 together and a small side room. It may be worth making a reservation if you can as this place will definitely get busy. The food was definitely the star here. For only a few more dollars than other AYCE nearby, you really get some extra premium items that I mentioned above. In addition to those, items like Takoyaki, Softshell crab, baby octopus salad, and others will easily run you $5-$10 elsewhere, which makes this AYCE a fantastic deal to sample many items. The nigiri selection is very good here, similar to what you'd be able to order from a non-AYCE restaurant. The fish cuts are fairly thick without too much rice and the fish is fresh without unpleasant flavors. In particular, White tuna, sea bass, squid, octopus, Ikura, and scallop are some of the options you won't find at all AYCE and the quality was quite good here. Equally important, the rolls shined here and my party was very happy with what they got. The texture was good throughout every roll, shrimp tempura was quite crunchy, fish eggs were fresh (and they even provided some masago which is less common for an AYCE), vegetables were very fresh, and the fish had a good firm texture to it. Presentation was excellent, as if I'd ordered full rolls form a standard japanese restaurant -- full of color and carefully assembled. The flavor contrast was also very good -- in some restaurants many of the different rolls taste nearly identical but it was very easy to clearly identify every roll here, with some flavor combinations (wasabi mayo to name one) that I don't find as often. In line with the added care to presentation, they also plated the mochi dessert in the end nicely. Overall, excellent experience and this definitely will be in my restaurant rotation. The quality was consistent throughout all the items and is worth a special trip to dine here.

My husband and I went to Sushi Tsuki with several friends for a Saturday night dinner. This restaurant is small and very busy but we were able to get a table because we made a reservation. The service here takes a long time so I recommend putting in your order quickly. We got the all you can eat sushi. All of their rolls were available for the AYCE. I could tell from the ngiri the time and attention that they paid to their food. It was very high quality. For an added bonus, the meal came with dessert. This is the first time I've seen this at an Asian restaurant. The food was amazing and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend Sushi Tsuki! This restaurant was FREEZING COLD. I strongly recommend bringing a jacket!!!

There's also discrepancy in their menu and what they actually have available as it seems they also display items for the the cafe next door. We happened to arrive during happy hour so some menu items were discounted. They also have a complimentary salad bar. We ordered chicken karaage, potstickers, salmon avocado sushi, and I had the katsu sandwich. All the food items we ordered came separately over a span of 20+ minutes, with the sandwich arriving last and cold. Not only did the sandwich come on a cold sourdough bread, the meat also had an unusual texture and so I ended up throwing it out. The other items we ordered were lacking in flavor. The chicken karaage was prepared well but it had no flavor. I'm regret spending money at this establishment.

So we got out of the car and saw someone pull up in front of the restaurant and jump out at 11:59. As soon as the door was unlocked at 12pm, this customer went in, and a few others after them. This is a small joint, and it was already half full by the time we ordered, then sat down (they told us the table at which to sit). I didn't know, but asked, and found out that a salad bar and miso soup are also included. The salad bar was pretty decent, with fresh vegs. They even had French fried onions (my guilty pleasure) and a very good House dressing (ginger vinaigrette). The portions are enormous. The couple next to us got ramen, and it was practically overflowing. We ordered takoyaki (too much food, we didn't need). I had the Pork Katsu bowl and my companion had a Katsu curry. I wished I had ordered the curry -- it looked dark and rich and thick like pudding (not like a boxed curry). They also gave us a bonus piece of chicken karaage which was so large and crispy. I think I'll get the curry next time, or the ramen. We originally came because we were going to get a karaage sando, but get the curry.

We ordered two apps - the chicken karaage and the agedashi tofu. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu pork ramen (not on their web menu, but still...). First demerit- my ramen arrived before the apps did. Seriously. Seriously? Me with a main dish and my hubby/friends bereft of food? Oh wow. I didn't touch it until the apps arrived a couple minutes later - finally their mains arrived. Yay. The apps? Well, the chicken karaage was really fried chicken breast meat (no bones; not a prob for me, but hubby - a japanese man by birth- was not impressed). The agedashi tofu was yummy and quite good. Nice! Ok- my ramen was - yes- spicy and oily, as any good ramen should be. The bad part? I could tell the bean sprouts weren't fresh as my sensitive digestive tract let me know - fast- that the sprouts were "not" fresh. Yikes. Not a good thing - hence the demerit. Ok- first- we may come again. But gosh. the workers really need to be a bit happier to be there- or - if they can't be pleasant - keep them out of the public's eye. We walked into a casual, cozy space with a smaller dining area that can feel busy during peak hours, but the atmosphere stays simple and focused on the food rather than a polished dining experience. The setup works well for a place centered around a warm bowl of noodles, where the attention stays on what is in the bowl rather than what is on the walls. The ramen is the main reason to visit, especially the signature Kitakata-style noodles. The noodles have a thicker, springy texture that gives each bowl a satisfying bite, and the broths are where the restaurant stands out. We tried the Spicy Miso Ramen, which brought a deeper, richer flavor with a noticeable kick, and the Green Chili Shio Ramen, which offered a lighter but still flavorful option with a cleaner broth profile. The balance between the noodles, broth, and toppings made the bowls feel thoughtfully put together rather than just another standard ramen option. The toppings were generous and the eggs were cooked well, adding a creamy richness that tied the bowl together. Beyond ramen, the sides are worth adding to the meal. We ordered the pan-fried gyoza, which came out with a crisp exterior and a juicy filling, making it one of the stronger starters to share. The karaage also added variety if you want something beyond noodles, with a crispy coating that held up without being greasy. The menu has enough options for different preferences, including vegetarian ramen choices that do not feel like an afterthought. Because of its popularity, waits can happen, especially during dinner hours and weekends. Joining the waitlist ahead of time is a good idea if you are planning around a specific schedule. The restaurant moves with a steady pace once seated, and the service generally matches the casual style of the space. The staff handle the flow efficiently, and even when the dining room is full, the pace of the meal stays comfortable without feeling rushed. Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is a strong ramen destination for anyone looking for flavorful broths, well-textured noodles, and comforting Japanese dishes. The spicy ramen options and pan-fried gyoza are highlights, making it a place worth visiting when you want a satisfying bowl rather than just a quick noodle stop. The quality of the broth and the texture of the noodles make it a step above the average ramen spot, delivering a meal that feels complete and well considered.
