Surprisingly, for a small strip mall - an amazingly great restaurant! There was only maybe two other people in the restaurant because we went late at night. But the service was great and I think the server was amazing. We ordered enough food for 10 people! Four entrées and a bunch of appetizers. The appetizers include garlic, broccoli, spider, roll, sushi, shrimp, tempura, shrimp, udon noodles,

Very yummy authentic Japanese food! They have a great selection of all of the traditional Japanese delicacies that you crave with freshly made sushi and generous sashimi slices. Very attentive service too! Thanks for being part of the Smyrna communiste for 20+ years!

Really good sushi and gyoza! Seemed pretty fresh and the gyoza meat was good. We ordered online for carry out and showed up a couple minutes late and it was ready which was good. Friendly staff

You like sushi but you hate spending $40 for three rolls? You and me both, so you are about to be happy that you came to Sushi Tong's Yelp page! Located in the heart of Smyrna at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Paces Ferry Road sits Sushi Tong. It is not much at first site as its part of a long standing shopping plaza that features a Mexican restaurant, a liquor store a few stores of differing varieties...but this is one place you DO NOT want to judge by its cover! I will say that my review is solely based off of the take out experience. I happened upon this place mid-Covid, so all my orders, four to be exact in the past few months, have been take out. While they do offer deliver, pick up is pretty seamless, so I make it happen. Service - Great! All my orders have been by phone, I call in, place my order and pick up. On their busy nights they preemptively tell you that the preparation time could be longer than what they quote you. They do give you the option to leave your number and they will call you once your order is ready. On my last trip, I was quoted 30 minutes, however it took 1 hour. I called at the 40 minutes mark and was greeted with a slew of genuine apologies and an update that there were 3 orders ahead of mine. I wasn't mad, they handled it perfectly and gave me the update I needed...I mean, I wanted my sushi, so it could have taken 1.5 hours to be honest. In addition to this experience, every time I make an order and pick up, whoever assists me is beyond friendly and helpful. Sushi - I mean, this is why you are here...so, here ya go! I am a creature of habit, so I tend to go for my main staples and with Sushi Tong, that is no different. However, I will say that I have tried a few of their specialty/House rolls and have been very happy! My order usually consists of... - Spicy Tuna Roll - $5.00 - Shrimp Tempura Roll - $5.95 - Yummy Yummy Roll or Fire Cracker Roll - $7.95/$8.95 I will say that the Yummy Yummy is my favorite specialty roll. It is basically a deep fried spicy tuna roll with a special sauce drizzled across it. To be honest, you had me at deep fried. The sushi is solid quality, even at the prices, well especially at the prices, as you would expect low grade and poor quality, but that is just not the case here. The sushi is high quality and delicious! You can get a belly full of happiness for around $18.00...for (3) rolls...y'all know that is unheard of!! Overall, Sushi Tong is my absolute go-to place for sushi. As a new Smyrna-nite, it is great to have found a locally owned, small sushi shop who has the prices right and the commitment to making tasty, fresh and affordable sushi!

This place was great. Needed a spot to eat while in the area and this one has good reviews and prices were pretty awesome. We had our whole place to ourselves around 7:15pm on a Tuesday evening. Very relaxing, peaceful environment. Service was great overall! The food was so delicious. I got the dumpling soup and the dragon king rolls. Both served very fresh and in a timely manner. Will definitely be back here if I'm in the area.

I dropped in for lunch today. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was awesome. There are colossal shrimp, and they were not stingy. The spring rolls were delicious. I loved it so much. Everything was cooked to perfection and with freshness.

It's COVID-19, everyone. Social distancing has begun to be our new normal. We're not quarantined but restaurants are not allowing any dine-ins, only takeout. I wanted affordable sushi, so chose Sushi-Tong because even though I've never physically seen the location, I've given them a try in takeout. They have been consistently tasty each time. Usually, I only order sushi but this time, added the shrimp fried rice. I should've taken a picture, it was so much that three people ate off it and there was still leftovers. It looked like the shrimp was actually lightly tempura fried which l hadn't seen before in fried rice. I didn't eat it but the consensus of the three was that it was good. Their food appears fresh, the tuna in the tuna rolls is more of the canned meat type but it's decent. My favorite is the Fuji Roll, I smile when I eat it. Its filling and you don't feel robbed after eating it. No sushi disappointment here.

I wasn't sure how all the flavors would come together, but everything surprisingly worked so well. Next, I ordered the Langoustine Roll with pressed rice. At first, I didn't think I was going to like it, but it ended up being sooo flavorful and incredibly easy to eat. If you have a smaller mouth like me, you don't have to worry about making a mess because the sushi was so soft and practically melted with every bite. Of course, I had to order their Casanova Roll since it's what they're best known for, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was on the sweeter side with plenty of sauce, which was perfect for my palate. Now onto the Miso Steak. I ordered it medium, but some bites toward the end were more well done. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either, so I personally wouldn't recommend it. Overall, I had a great experience here, but I do think the food is overpriced. Also, be prepared to squint a little at the menu because it is very dark inside!

I ordered the lo mein with a side of yum yum sauce, and from the first bite, I knew I'd be ordering from here again. The food arrived surprisingly hot, which says a lot about both the restaurant and the delivery service. Everything tasted fresh, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the flavor was exactly what I was hoping for. The yum yum sauce was a great addition and paired really well with the meal. The portion size was generous--honestly more than I would normally eat in one sitting. But it was one of those meals where I kept telling myself, "Just one more bite," until I realized I'd eaten almost all of it. That's always a good sign. If the lo mein is any indication of the quality of the rest of their menu, I'm excited to come back and try more dishes. Finding a dependable takeout restaurant can be tough, but I think I found one. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful Chinese food with generous portions, The Orient is definitely worth a try.

Since I wasn't in the mood to sit down and eat, I went ahead and placed a call-ahead order for their House Lo Mein along with an order of fried chicken wings. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious with a nice, welcoming atmosphere once you step inside. The décor gives off a classic Chinese restaurant vibe that feels comfortable and relaxing. Parking, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. The spots right in front of the building are limited, so I ended up using the extended parking lot, which was a little dark and had that slightly eerie feeling at night -- nothing too wild or dangerous, but definitely not the most well-lit area I've seen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was pleasantly greeted right at the door by the staff, who provided genuinely friendly and efficient customer service. That warm welcome made the whole pickup process smooth and quick. Once I got back to my hotel room and finally dug into the food, I have to say the House Lo Mein was prepared with fresh ingredients and good quality noodles and vegetables. It wasn't the most outstanding lo mein I've ever tasted in my life -- I've had versions that were more flavorful and better seasoned -- but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I'd honestly describe it as pretty mid-tier: solid, reliable, and worth what I paid for it on that particular evening. The fried chicken wings, on the other hand, really stood out to me. They were extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and actually had some noticeable flavor and seasoning, which made them quite enjoyable. All in all, it was a decent and satisfying meal that hit the spot after a tiring day. The portions were generous enough, and the value felt reasonable. I could definitely see myself returning to The Orient sometime in the future if I find myself back in the area and in need of a quick Chinese takeout option. That said, with plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer more affordable prices and bolder flavors, it probably wouldn't be my absolute first choice the next time I'm craving something similar. Still, if you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss spot with friendly service and consistently okay-to-good food, The Orient is worth considering.

I also ordered a single order of fried chicken wings where you get 6 wings with a sauce, which was like a sweet and sour sauce. The wings were fried to perfection. Let's start there. There is a revolving belt where you can pick sushi; each plate is $3.50. The nigiri comes in pairs, and the sushi rolls come in sets of 3 or 4. I love that they are small portions so that you can try a variety of the rolls. There is also a menu on the iPad at your table that you can use to order. If you order from the iPad, it comes on the top revolving belt in these cute little, smiling, spaceship-like containers that stop and open at your seat. We had been shopping in the area and after searching Yelp, I came across Revolving Sushi Factory and figured it the perfect day to check them out. The restaurant itself is so cute! I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door and my table was set. I had to use the ladies room first, which was tucked behind some curtains. The bathroom was super clean and I was able to change my son, tidy up and head back out. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, I opted to order my food off of the ipad vs. the conveyor belt, which may have gone against the entire concept, lol. I just like to go with that option if I have it in hopes of avoiding eating anything that someone may have had their hands or breath on already beyond the kitchen. But the conveyor belt was filled with delicious goods, multiple items from the menu just zooming around us. It did give me a good look at what to expect for myself! From the ipad I ordered a ramune soda (which my waitress opened for me because I'm always so bad at it) and the shrimp shu mai to start and, WOAH. These were soooo good. Incredibly hot, fresh, packed with flavor and shrimp, super crispy and the sauce was a great match. I should have ordered more. For my rolls, I ordered: the ruby, the sexy girl, and picante x 2. Delicious options! The ruby roll was my least favorite, although it was still tasty. I just didn't love the tobiko. But the picante was IT. Service was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and the team was so patient. The young lady who was my waitress was sweet enough to bring me a cup of hot water for my baby's bottle and complimented me on how good he was. :) It was truly a fantastic visit and I only spent $20 or so on my meal - absolutely returning.
