Sushi Village is my default AYCE sushi restaurant to go to. I've been coming here ever since they first opened. You won't find a better deal for AYCE made to order sushi. Is it the best quality fish? Obviously not. But for the price? You can't beat it. Over time, with inflation and post covid, prices have definitely increased and the menu has changed, but currently dinner is priced at $26.99 per person and lunch is even cheaper. That makes them incredibly competitive with other AYCE restaurants. And unlike other places, there is no limit on how many pieces of sashimi or nigiri you can order. You can only order 10 per person per round, but they don't cap you out on how many rounds you can order. Between my husband and I, we usually order between 50-100 pieces of sashimi/nigiri in addition to rolls and appetizers/sides. What I have noticed over time is that their cuts of fish have become increasingly larger. They used to give far too much rice on their nigiri and rolls so you'd get full too fast. But now, the rice portion is definitely proportionate and the fish cuts have gotten better. The appetizers and sides come out hot, fresh, and quickly. They have many different things you can order. My personal favorites are the seaweed and kani salads, edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. In the past, they offered ice cream but have since removed it from their menu, unfortunately, which is the only thing that they are lacking- dessert.

House Fried Rice, Yummy Roll, Seaweed Salad the rest I ate.

Mmh I'm familiar with this place on Uber Eats. Was REALLY CRAVING the BIG MAMA on the Uber Eats Menu. I came in to eat and he was an all you can eat menu reasonably priced at $26 thinking that item would be on the menu but it was not! The food is ok but there is nothing better than the BigMama under the Deep Fried Rolls...! I succumbed to the Atomic Bomb and Yummy Roll (too thick) but it don't hit like the Big Mama AT ALL. CONS...if you don't finish eating there isn't any TO GO dishes . STAND ALONE that's enough for my to NOT come back being as that the other rolls just weren't that great. Fried rice, Crab Rangoon and Seaweed Salad all great. The strict no to go dishes even in paper form is annoying. People appreciate convenience SO IF YOU COME HERE BRING YOUR OWN TUPPERWARE because apparently it's a COST thing.

If you're looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat sushi spot and don't mind sacrificing a bit on quality, Sushi Village might be worth a try. It's a decent bang for your buck, but be prepared for a very mediocre dining experience overall. The menu offers a wide range of sushi rolls, appetizers, and sides, but unfortunately, not all items hit the mark. The sushi itself isn't the freshest, lacking in that crisp, bright flavor you'd hope for, but again, this is expected at an all-you-can-eat place. Still, the rolls are dressed up nicely and satisfying enough if you're just trying to get full and enjoy variety. I would not recommend the appetizers. The fried shrimp tempura was limp and overly dry; dipping them in sauce made up for it. The hot and sour soup had flavor; I would order it again. The staff was friendly and attentive, which definitely helped make the experience more pleasant. Plates were cleared quickly, and orders came out at a good pace, which is a big plus for an all-you-can-eat setting. The place was simple and clean, with typical sushi restaurant decor. It's casual, and probably best for a laid-back meal with friends or family. Sushi Village isn't somewhere I'd rave about, but for the price, you can't expect fine dining. If you're craving lots of sushi and aren't too picky, it'll do the job. Just skip the appetizers and go straight for the rolls.

So worth it for the price! Unlimited buffet for $26 on weekends. We left in a food coma. Their miso soup was hot & yummy. The dumplings we tried both steamed & fried, both were great (we ordered them multiple times). We tried about 7-8 different rolls as well, from raw to cooked, and all were yummy :) The service was great & quick!

Had lunch here and it was alright. The sushi was okay, but some came out warm and very rice heavy. There was also a lot of sauce and most of the sushi was spicy, so not that many good options. Service was also kind of slow, which was understandable since we were with a large group. The restaurant is in a kind of small place though, so I thought the vibe was just ok. For all you can eat sushi, it is a really good deal, but the sushi is just mid to me.

Avocado Roll

My food was amazing -- avocado roll and especially the teriyaki tofu. The tofu was cooked great. Staff was nice and attentive. The bathrooms were very nice. Prices were good for the amount of food. My friends said the vegetable udon soup was ok and the chicken in the chicken hibachi had some fatty pieces.

Food was super good! Great value for all you can eat! Went as part of a club. Can't speak to the normal vibe/service because of that.

In the mood for sushi and wanted to explore a new place in Cumberland. I did a pick up order with Grubhub and ordered a Sunny Side Up Roll. It was ready in 20 minutes. When I walked in, noticed there is a takeout side (right) and sit down side (left). The restaurant was clean but nobody in front to greet guests. The Sunny Side Up Roll was pretty good, but felt a little on the pricey side. However the crab salad was delicious and packed with a lot of flavor from the eel sauce. Overall, decent roll that would be worth ordering again, however, I'd recommend exploring their menu further for hidden gems of sushi. They do a quick takeout so might be worth the premium price.

The ambience is very simple, but do not be fooled. The food is very fresh! and it's all you can eat.!

Omg the all you Can eat is so good and so fresh tasting !!! I've been to my fair share of sushi places and this is by far one of the best I've tasted the fish is so thick too I was telling my husband how they make money but I would 100% come again.

Ask the Community - Sushi Village

Do they serve alcohol?

Sushi Village has a very limited list of beers and wines, and has sake.

Is the air conditioning working here yet? Was broken last few months

I went a few weeks back and it was working just fine.

It's website says it's closed between 3-5. Is that accurate or are they open all day?

Accurate! They use to be open all day, but they definitely take the breaks now.

When will the AYCE start up again?

They currently have the All You Can Eat option. Lunch and dinner.

Is the takeout an all you can eat option as well or do I have to buy the sushi's individually? I just want them to open up again for dine in, I miss their all you can eat option.

Unfortunately, you have to buy the sushi individually. The prices are standard sushi prices.

When does the lunch all-you-can-eat end?

4pm

Is there a menu that you order from? Also, do they serve more than just sushi under all-you-can-eat?

The lunch menu is the buffet, but you order as you go. The buffet menu has apps including salad, soup, eggs rolls, gyoza, edamame, ragoons(cheese bags), tempura vegetables, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, and desserts.

Is the all you can eat price different for kids?

She gave me a discount on my son because I used to go there all the time before they switched over. I would ask ahead of time before you sat down to eat.

If I order sushi option B during dinner, is it 13.99 it is it all 19.99?

19.99 for dinner!

You order sushi rolls or are they out like a buffet ? Is there a limit to how many rolls you can order for the set price?

It's not a buffet. You order off the menu but you can order as many rolls as you want. We ordered almost everything on the menu. The only thing is that they charge for food you don't eat. You can order in waves (like start with 4 rolls and then… Read more

How does this place work with all you can eat? It's per person right? What if they want to try your sushi roll are they allowed? I've been to some places where you can't have each other's food when it's all you can eat.

I believe it's All you can eat for every person. The key is, don't over order, because each piece left costs 50 cents. But, you won't be disappointed. I am picky about fresh sushi and this was great. Enjoy!

5/5 Yakitori Janbeli…read moreI was in town for a business trip and decided to give Yakitori Janbeli a try after seeing all the glowing online reviews and the Food Network hype. I stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 8 PM, placed a call-in order, and it was ready in about 20 minutes--super convenient! I went with the fried rice and the Korean-style fried chicken. The place has a nice moderate-sized space with pleasant outdoor seating, and the staff was really friendly when I picked up my order. Once I got back and dug in, it was clear they use super fresh ingredients, and everything tasted like it was made to order. The fried rice had nice, layered flavors, and the chicken had a clean, crisp bite with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. Honestly, I couldn't quite see what all the major hype was about, but it was still a solid, good-quality meal with great presentation. That said, given the other more affordable options in the area with better portions, I probably wouldn't go back on my next visit. Would recommend if you're looking for fresh, quality ingredients in a convenient spot!

I shared the Karaage and Korean fried chicken with my friends and didn't find either to be something I would reorder, however I will say that my friends all spoke highly of the Korean fried chicken. For my main, I had the Wagyu Maki and it didn't live up to the expectations or price at all. We finished off with the mochi which was very tasty. I'll caveat this all with adding my friends who had the ramen and fried rice enjoyed their meals a lot more than mine. This could be a result of just ordering better items or just having a one-off bad experience myself. Overall, I think if you're avoiding seafood then Yakitori Jinbei might not be the best place to try in my personal experience.

The chicken fried rice tasted good and was made fresh, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. It felt like something was missing, though I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. Since the delivery took about an hour, I did have to reheat the food once it arrived. Overall, the price was great, especially considering the portion sizes. However, because the restaurant is a bit farther out, I did end up paying extra for delivery due to the distance.

Since I wasn't in the mood to sit down and eat, I went ahead and placed a call-ahead order for their House Lo Mein along with an order of fried chicken wings. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious with a nice, welcoming atmosphere once you step inside. The décor gives off a classic Chinese restaurant vibe that feels comfortable and relaxing. Parking, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. The spots right in front of the building are limited, so I ended up using the extended parking lot, which was a little dark and had that slightly eerie feeling at night -- nothing too wild or dangerous, but definitely not the most well-lit area I've seen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was pleasantly greeted right at the door by the staff, who provided genuinely friendly and efficient customer service. That warm welcome made the whole pickup process smooth and quick. Once I got back to my hotel room and finally dug into the food, I have to say the House Lo Mein was prepared with fresh ingredients and good quality noodles and vegetables. It wasn't the most outstanding lo mein I've ever tasted in my life -- I've had versions that were more flavorful and better seasoned -- but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I'd honestly describe it as pretty mid-tier: solid, reliable, and worth what I paid for it on that particular evening. The fried chicken wings, on the other hand, really stood out to me. They were extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and actually had some noticeable flavor and seasoning, which made them quite enjoyable. All in all, it was a decent and satisfying meal that hit the spot after a tiring day. The portions were generous enough, and the value felt reasonable. I could definitely see myself returning to The Orient sometime in the future if I find myself back in the area and in need of a quick Chinese takeout option. That said, with plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer more affordable prices and bolder flavors, it probably wouldn't be my absolute first choice the next time I'm craving something similar. Still, if you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss spot with friendly service and consistently okay-to-good food, The Orient is worth considering.

It was so fresh and delicious. It's a little hard to eat, but totally worth the effort. We also had a Sheldon room with spicy tuna, and it was square instead of the regular roll, and we really enjoyed that one, too. When we come back, we'll be tempted to order the same rolls, if we can figure out what they're called, but if not, there are so many other phenomenal options on the menu we'd be happy with.

First let's talk about the egg rolls; they didn't taste frozen or store bought, and if they were, they did an amazing job of making them delicious. They had a ginger kick to them that I loved and they were a nice size portion. The price wasn't bad either like $5 for two. The Hibachi Chicken is tasty; no mucky or overcooked rice, seasoned chicken, hefty and flavorful serving of veggies, nothing to complain about especially for the price! The half size is like $11 and the full is $14 rounded up, and you get a ton of food for the price! My mom ordered the shrimp fried rice and wasn't too impressed. It was a nice sized serving from the picture and what I saw but I can't judge the taste considering I didn't eat any but it looked good.
