Restaurant is beautiful inside! I only ordered takeout which took a standard amount of time around 30 minutes. My only complaint is that I ordered through uber eats which didn't say one of the items would be doused in teriyaki sauce, even though they put a cup of it on the side anyways? So if that's for all forms of takeout and you're like me and hate sauce be aware of that! All in all the food was good aside from that thing but that's my make or break anytime i get sushi and I'll make sure to come again and also now I know for next time. Seeing the pictures on the Internet, I chose to eat, ordered 5 fried rice and a noodle dish, first a bowl of soup was served, and then there was an endless wait, I felt that I had waited for at least 20 minutes and had not come, the key was that there was only one table of us at noon, and there was no one else. The fried rice is very hard, the beef has no taste, and the side dishes are hard to eatIt was all carrots, zucchini, and so on, and when I checked out, they automatically charged me 20%, saying that if there were more than five people, there was no choice but to charge 20%. Visit started well. We ordered an order of Goyza and some non alcoholic drinks. For dinner, I ordered chicken teriyaki and my wife ordered 2 simple sushi rolls. My dinner came out and after 25 minutes my wife's sushi still had not come out. Another server offered some more water and we asked to speak to the manager. He was very apologetic and asked what he could do. Since I was waiting to eat my dinner as I was waiting for my wife's, we told him the full meal needed to be comped. He refused and we told him to take the sushi off and give us our bill. He returned with the bill and both entrees comped. We paid for a soda and the appetizer. Extremely poor for a coupe's dinner to not come out together and then watch the 3 sushi chefs preparing to go order after to go order. Manager asked us to see his view. There was nothing else for us to see. They screwed up and as visitors to Key Largo, we would never rerun here. read more

No Manager...Staff cannot properly provide appropriate service if more than 3 tables are filled...Ordered a soup and a sushi; asked for the soup to come first; and then my sushi did not come out after 45 minutes; continued to ask Waitress and all the other support staff; either they forgot to put in my order; order never arrived; paid for soup after 45 minutes and left; many other tables were served that came in 30 min after me; and the worst of it; no apology; Waitress took no ownership of mistake; bottom line, Waitress said that since I requested soup before the sushi entree, that she was just doing what I asked; I sat at table for 45 minutes after the soup...There is no Manager to complain to; and Waitress was defensive and no apology, no honest explanation; gaslighting; cannot recommend this to anyone (soup was so hot, that had to put 6 ice-cubes in it) read more

I pulled in here because I was hangry after snorkeling and ignored the GPS that was directing us to a different sushi location. Great little surprise due to my impatience and extreme hunger. Super chill atmosphere. Delicious food and great service!! The place was very clean. The sushi was outstanding! The fried shrimp Sumai was delicious. Definitely want to go back next time we are in the keys. They don't offer Bogo but their prices are fair and the sushi rolls are a decent size. I was full and happy! Highly recommend! read more

Shut down for cockroaches this year. Horrible service. High menu prices. Poor ambiance. Go to Num Thai 1/2 a mile away for much more value and fresh sushi/thai or the buffalo steakhouse in the plaza over! Even when ordering Uber from Sushi Sake they leave out everything extra that was paid for etc. read more

Service used to be really good! Last couple of times have been horrible. Waitress overwhelming!!!! 2 hours to get our food..... so this time we called in for pick up, it wasn't ready in 30 mins as we were told, finally got our food 1hour later!!!! My husband and I went here for dinner because of the positive reviews. We were seated immediately because we were literally the ONLY guests but never given menus. They had some by the door so we grabbed two. A lot of the rolls are similar in the ingredients, so many have tempura shrimp. And they all seem to come out with tempura flakes. We were very underwhelmed with the flavor and out of the four rolls we ordered, they all tasted the same! Bland is the best word. The lobster roll is NOT worth it, no taste and you would have thought you had another shrimp roll. Upon receiving our bill we noticed that everything we ordered was a dollar more than listed. Plus a homeless tax? When we asked why we didn't receive happy hour price for our donuts and about the prices, the man whom we perceived to be the manager told us those were take out menus. Throughout the whole meal, from before ordering to end, nobody could have told us they were the wrong menu?! And why weren't we given the actual menu? The waitress and manager looked at us like our complaints weren't valid, and of course, no "thank you's" or SINCERE "sorry's". Just pay your bill and get out. Never again. read more

We order from here 4-5 times a week and from one day to the next there is a $2-$4 per item increase in cost. This is ridiculous and the service is poor, the girl at the front desk can't even take an order correctly. They hired a new girl and she's not capable. I was in Key Largo for vacation and was craving sushi! The food: We got Nigiri, which was underwhelming. Mostly because the fish and rice ratio favored the rice greatly. We also got two rolls (tiger roll and Kendall roll) and both were tasty. Overall not the best sushi, but it'll do if you're in the area and needing a sushi fix. The service: We went on a Thursday evening and there were two workers making sushi, two waiters, and one person maybe washing dishes? But service was slow. Honestly, everything we ordered fell short, which was surprising given our previous experiences. What made it more disappointing was the birthday moment. We ordered dessert and asked if they could sing happy birthday. They brought out the dessert but didn't acknowledge the birthday at all. Then, less than five minutes later, they celebrated another table by singing, which made the situation feel even worse. Overall, we left feeling really let down. Hoping this was just an off night, but it definitely didn't match what we're used to from this place.
