I was actually really impressed by this place! Boyfriend and I saw their $18 summer nigiri special on Instagram and decided to try it out. It was super worth it!! We visited Sushi Rock for their Sushi and drinks Happy Hour, where they offer $6 Sushi Rolls (pretty good deal). We were welcomed by the host who sat us outside, however they did not indicate happy hour was only offered at the bar. We thought this was no issue and the next server directed us to the happy hour seating area. To our surprise, we had to stand for about 10-15 minutes while being ignored by restaurant servers and staff because none of the tables we were directed to had been cleaned and still contained food items from prior customers. When the staff comes to clean the table, they only clean the half of the table where we'd not be sitting, so we had to move ourselves to the clean area. 10 minutes go by, we put our order in and are waiting for our food and we notice a couple gets sat right next to us where the table has not been properly cleaned and the staff did not seem to care. This was an unpleasant experience besides the good food options. In terms of food, we ordered the ceviche and one of each of the six sushi rolls in the happy hour menu and found these to be good for their price, and very good portions for 2 people. The ceviche was very tasty and we loved the wonton chips. Our favorite rolls were the crispy rice with tuna dynamite on top (squared shape) and the tempura roll with sweet miso. I was hooked after my first order and it became my go-to sushi delivery throughout 2020-2021. Delivery was always fast and the food didn't lose it's quality during transit.
