Service- everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and attentive. Shoutout to Tam who took great care of us and was so polite! Food- we went for happy hour and everything we had was a good portion size and super flavorful. The dumplings with crab were my favorite. Drinks-so many creative drink combinations and all the classics as well. Vibe- great for dates, families, or groups. Happy hour- great pricing, large selection.

If you haven't tried Bangkok 54 yet, it's definitely time. Once you do, it might just become your go-to spot for Thai food. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, Bangkok 54 delivers consistently delicious dishes--just note that presentation for takeout/delivery may differ a bit from the in-house experience. I recently stopped by for dinner--my first visit in a while--and was reminded why this place is so popular. For an early Thursday evening, it was surprisingly busy, likely thanks to their tempting happy hour deals. The food? Packed with flavor and a satisfying kick. If you're not big on spice, be warned: I think the spicy dishes seem to come at a default medium (around a 3 out of 5 on the heat scale), so don't be shy about asking them to dial it down.

First time here and didn't intend to eat Thai when we stumbled on this place. It picked up on Sunday around 2pm. Maybe there was a wave before then. The portions were large and their traditional dishes were tastyz we got pad Thai and drunken noodles.

Very disappointing lunch specials. Garlic lover chicken where rice is so huge it's on the entree side. With clear plastic pieces in the food! Chicken pad Thai tastes of palm sugar, burnt chili oil and disappointment. Where's the flavor?!...

Have gotten food from here twice, specifically takeout. The food was delicious! I tried something different for me once - the mango & shrimp salad - super tasty, full of flavor. I wish the lunch special boxes were bigger. I'm a big fan of Thai food, and this definitely did not disappoint.

We had Salt pepper calamari: excellent Tom Yam cocktail: good 54's Mai Tai cocktail: great Crab meat fried rice: very ordinari. Regular fried rice with bits of crab at the top as volcano Crispy fried spicy duck tasty, but hardly as a duck Sticky rice custard: mah very ordinary. In short, the place is good, but according to the friends' recommendation we expected more.

Ambiance: (5/5) I was just picking up my food but I went inside and there is plenty of seating. It seems like a great place to sit and talk. Price: (4/5) prices seem average for the area. $17 for the lunch special that comes with a small portion of sticky rice, a fresh roll (like a summer roll but with tofu and avocado), and your entree. Food: (4/5) I enjoyed my food. I liked the fresh roll because it was different than a normal summer roll that comes with shrimp. It had all the same crunch just with tofu and avocado. It came with the typical peanut sauce. The mango sticky rice was great. The rice was pretty sweet with the coconut milk but I really enjoyed it. The mangos were also perfect! My main entree was the Pad Thai (can't remember exactly what it's called, but it is a different version of pad Thai). It was pretty good. I wish it had more spices. I felt like the fish sauce was a bit overpowering and the shrimp didn't have much flavor at all. Service: (5/5) Staff was really nice and my food was ready right when they said it would be.

The entrees had the right amount of spice, portion, and flavor. A few things aren't as authentic as I would've liked; such as using black pepper in drunken noodles, but overall, delicious. The apps and sushi were good, but a bit bland such as the pork belly and wings.

    Delicious! All of it!

This place was awesome. I saw it recommended on Reddit so we ordered delivery on a Friday night…read more Delivery was only $2 (+tip) and they don't upcharge the prices because they don't go through a delivery service. The only downside is you can't see the delivery progress but I felt like a kid again where you had no idea when the food would show up and you'd just sit there watching the window (it took an hour at peak Friday night). The pad Thai was delicious, not super sweet like some places make it. The crispy squid basil was also excellent, and they cut a couple small holes in the container so it was still crispy when it got to us. The prices were very reasonable as well. I think we found our new Thai place in Arlington!

I'll be honest, I also felt at first that our server wasn't friendly. The food completely made up for her lack of customer service. We ordered the catfish as well as the boat noodle soup. Both had the most amazing flavor and did not take long to come out. I also noticed that once we engaged our waitress in more questions and conversation, that she is just a more reserved person and not unfriendly. The decor inside wasn't anything outstanding but I truly didn't care with how amazing the food was. This was the best boat noodle soup in northern va that I have tried.

Was seated by a delightful young lady, and found the decor and layout to be quite pleasing; modest by elegant. As for the fare, it was indeed quite worth the walk. Ordered a bowl of Tom Yum and the Pad Thai Mun Goong. The Tom Yum was solid and quite flavorful, a flux of tangy lemongrass with the oniony sweetness of steeped scallions, and enoki mushrooms to provide some heartiness. The Pad Thai Mun Goong was a chef specialty pad Thai made with stir fried rice noodle, prawns shrimp tomalley oil (a crucial element for this version), egg and bean sprouts, naturally topped with green onions, peanuts and a lime for squeezing, and this also was quite phenomenal. Savory, sweet, a little tingle of sourness from the citrus in the mid-palate, and the juicy, briny shrimp balancing the dense carbs and rich flavorful sauce. All-in-all, I was well pleased this visit. As this is Padaek's second location, I hope they don't expand too much further/quickly and compromise on quality.

They had a band and singers and folks were up dancing. We found out this is an annual thing and not something regular. We didn't realized they closed at 9pm so felt a little rushed. My friend and I shared the Pad See Ew with beef and the Pla Makham. Both dishes were so good and packed with flavor. We saw some good looking dishes being delivered to other tables and can't wait to return to try them.

I wouldn't say the inside gives off a Thai restaurant, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. For starters, we ordered the duck wrap and the papaya salad. The duck wrap was interesting, but not sure if it was in the good way. The wrap tasted buttery, which was a little different than what I have had before, and the duck didn't really taste like duck and there wasn't much of it. The papaya salad was fine, but not the best I have had. It was a little bit spicy. For the main dish, I ordered the hang-over noodle (Khee Mao), which was I think their version of drunken noodles. I thought it was good, but it was definitely too spicy for my liking but that is my bad for not asking for a lower spice level. The noodles had a nice texture. I wouldn't say this is the best Thai place in NOVA, but I thought it was alright.
