Went to this amazing place again and ordered the Dane thing. Love love love sushi. This is by far the BEST A SUSHI place I've ever been to. I have been multiple times and every time the sushi is amazing and so is the service.

Ok, I'm starting this review and I haven't even got to the mains yet! Let's see if it's accurate. Miso soup - spot on Sononomo (sp) - I have never had anything like this and it is just plain awesome! Cannot say anything but you're a fool if you don't try it. Now I wait: Tulsa Roll & Dancing eel roll: there was a lot going on in these but it was all good. A little spice in the Tulsa roll... highly recommend both. Also loved that they had two soy sauce options on the table, reg and lite. My waitress was super nice and very prompt though she was really busy! Pleasantly surprised by this place!

Pretty decent Sushi for Oklahoma. Ordered online but wasn't able to see description of rolls. Here is a takeout menu for the non-regulars.

We wished, after having went, that we had tried it when we first moved to Bartlesville. We've had amazing hibachi in the past when we lived in Ohio. I have reviews for them on Yelp, also. We've been on the search, though, since that time to find a good hibachi restaurant here in Oklahoma. Our search is now over. The service was very kind and prompt. Refills were offered and empty plates were picked up quickly. The food, itself was of very good quality. Everything was hot and fresh and cooked how we had ordered it. Everything was seasoned appropriately. Nothing was salty or overly or under seasoned. The ambience is very nice and the concept, itself, is very well executed. This restaurant is divided into two parts: one side is where they have a hibachi table and a chef cooking the food in front of you... The other is just a regular sit down restaurant where they bring the food to you already prepared. When we went, my wife and I both had the New York strip and chicken hibachi meals. These came with miso soup and a salad. The salad is dressed with Yum Yum sauce. I would say that the salad was good, but it was really only about half full and there could've been more salad in the bowl. Soup was also very good and it also could have been more full. Those are the only negative things if you want to call them that which I would have to say. The food was excellent. Overall hibachi was the best I've had since Ohio. We will definitely be coming back! My wife said that this is her new favorite restaurant in Bartlesville :-)

We genuinely enjoy the food and atmosphere, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. She ordered a filet and shrimp. When the cook placed the steak on the grill, it had a distinctly rotten odor and appeared dark brown/purple. When it was put on her plate "cooked medium just as asked", both my wife and I found it smelled and tasted spoiled. The cook and our server handled the situation professionally and apologized. The manager, however, was rude and unprofessional. He came to the table questioning us as if we were imagining the problem, then used his fingers to pick up and taste the steak directly from my wife's plate after we had already tried it. He declared it "fine" and offered to cook another one. The replacement steak tasted strongly like liver. We left the original on the plate; our dog ended up with the second one. A couple next to us on the same grill who had also ordered steak commented that ours looked so different they couldn't tell that it was steak. We paid over $100 for three people and received no meaningful apology from management--only the implication that we were trying to get something for free. The cook and server were excellent; the meat quality and the manager's response were not. Mistakes happen. Arguing with customers over clearly spoiled food and handling it so unprofessionally does not. Unless we receive a formal apology from the manager, this restaurant has lost our business, our family's business, and any future recommendations I would have given to customers or visitors. We liked coming here. The manager's behavior is what ended that.

Ambiance: perfect for date night. Low light setting. Clean and modern interior. Really great place to impress. Service: I had outstanding service from our waiter who has been in the industry a while. He was able to explain everything in detail...which is a lot, but fun if you're a foodie like me. Food: Since it was a date night, I balled out literally! The wife and I got the baller choice which is $125/ person. This consisted of approximately 3 appetizer items and a decent amount of cuts to put on the grill; all of which are a chef's choice. If you are looking for something new to try and enjoy a wide variety of flavor and cuisine, this is a great place to start. The fish items we had were really tasty and it was my first time trying A5 Japanese wagu. I was impressed with the quality and the cuts of meat that we were served. Many of the side items were good, but won't be for your average person. A refined palette is what may be necessary to truly enjoy or appreciate each item. All the food we had was good...however, I will say that my bill was $350. Now, I don't mind paying that kind of money if it's going to blow me away, but it didn't. I would recommend going to Mr. Kim's again and I will definitely be back, but I will be building my own entrees. Check out my photos, this is always my favorite part of doing reviews.

Exceptional Quality and Craftsmanship in Tulsa -- Mr. Nobu's Sushiya…read more We recently visited Mr. Nobu's Sushiya, and overall, the quality of the food makes this a place the Tulsa community absolutely needs to support and help grow. The Standouts Incredible Nigiri: The salmon nigiri was superior--far larger than usual and easily outshining the quality at most other sushi restaurants in town. Tempura Shrimp Roll: An absolute highlight at just $11. They added broken tempura pieces to the outside, giving it an remarkably delicious, delightful crunch. Outstanding value and flavor. Craft Cocktails & Details: The cucumber and gin drink was crisp and delicious. We also appreciated the generous portions of wasabi and house-style white ginger (which is far better quality than the dyed pink variety). Areas for Improvement Sodium Sensitivity: The zucchini appetizer was good but noticeably salty. My husband limits sodium for medical reasons, and while staff confirmed the soy sauce was low sodium, it tasted quite high in sodium to us. Extra transparency or true low-sodium options would be helpful for guests with health restrictions. Ambiance & Space: The space is quite small. During our visit, the sushi bar felt a bit claustrophobic and the dining room felt tight. A larger space would let their expert sushi chefs truly shine. Happy Hour Opportunity: We rushed over expecting Happy Hour between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, only to find out it had been discontinued. The restaurant was very quiet during that hour. Bringing back and promoting an early happy hour could be a great way to fill that dead time and draw in a crowd. Final Thoughts Between the expert sushi chefs and the remarkable food quality, this has the potential to be the single best sushi spot in Tulsa if it gets the space to expand. Perhaps Simply opening the sushi bar to the dining room would make both rooms seem larger. As a bonus for travelers, Mr. Nobu's is on the Southwest Airlines Dining Awards list (3 points per dollar with a Rapid Rewards card), which is a huge perk if you're earning toward a Companion Pass! We will definitely be back.

The server/host did a great job of being super friendly and talkative along with making sure we were well informed on the menu and hearing we made good choices on our food selections. Speaking of flavor, I'm sure the special blended soy sauce played a major part. On top of that, there's chili sauce at the table & that right there has a Shawn Michaels super kick to it. With the bowl being full of chicken along with the other components like fish cake, seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onion & a soft boiled egg (that's also flavored)... it's not even an overload. It's flavor on top of flavor on top of flavor. I couldn't even finish it & took it to-go. My waitress was super nice & the wait on my food didn't take long (they had a mini lunch rush when I got here). Outside of ramen, there's so much to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for ramen, sushi, bowls, etc... this is your spot. I was having a headache & really needed some food to help get rid of it (I was also in the area). Ramen usually does the trick & it prevailed as I started feeling better. Oishi came in the clutch.
