I missing items, a bit overpriced and the owner was a bit rude. Tasty food, but it's missing those small details.

The wakame special salad was super filling for 1 - I couldn't finish it and it kind of could have been a meal. Loved the textures of the salmon chunks, seaweed, crab and crunchy bits. The hamachi roll was HUGE I couldn't only eat half. Idk if it was just this roll but it was easy to fall apart. Wouldn't get that one again. my check for one with wine got up to $60+ which makes mathematical sense for about $20 per item (3 items). Considering the large portions well worth it but I wouldn't recommend ordering a ton of stuff to try because a lot wouldn't taste great leftover.

This has been one of my top go-to spots to bring my family, so it was disappointing to have a different experience this time. We ordered a variety of dishes, including some of our usual favorites. I got the spicy edamame, which unfortunately seemed a bit overcooked--the beans were much softer than I prefer. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that ended up being mostly breading with very little chicken inside. I also ordered my usual salmon teriyaki, but this time the sauce tasted overcooked, almost burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. I even had my daughter and her boyfriend try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and they both agreed. That said, not everything missed. The service was amazing. My daughter liked the miso soup. The Crunchy Joy roll (I believe that's the name) was very good, and the deep-fried pork gyoza was amazing as always. Overall, I was very disappointed since this place has consistently been one of my favorites. I'm hoping this was just an off day and that my next visit is back to the quality I'm used to. This is the reason for my three stars.

Everyone on the staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. The Happī Hour menu stands out as one of the best values in the area. I had 2 Classic Mojitos, Shrimp Cocktail, Lumpia Shanghai Roll, Pinoy BBQ Skewers and Kurobuta Corn Dogs from the Happī Hour menu. From the full menu, I had Salmon Tiradito, and the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode for dessert. Standouts for me were the Salmon Tiradito which had a beautiful presentation. It comes plated like a work of art with gooseberry, fresno chili, annatto oil, mustard oil, sea salt, white nikirisoy aioli. Wish I had taken a photo. This is the only place I ever order corn dogs (and I ALWAYS order them here) which are made with a Japanese sausage and come with a special spicy mustard that gives it an interesting, gourmet kick. Don't go heavy on the mustard if you're sensitive to spice. Hot! I am told the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode is inspired by the owner's son, and it is magnificently-plated and delicious. This is not the campfire version of S'mores. This is the haute cuisine version. You cannot beat Sushi Bichi on quality of food and experience for the price, especially during the Happī Hour which runs 4-6:30pm. You can walk onto the beach after your meal, if you'd like. It's right there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Parking tip: there is a large public lot on Collins Avenue around the corner that I've always found a spot in. Short walk to Sushi Bichi.

I enjoyed the rolls, very untraditional but well done nonetheless. I got the panacotta for my desert which was lovely and it was a nice meal after a long day. It would be nice to have a little more lighting somehow, perhaps some overhead string lights some how because it was pretty dark with just the table lights. Otherwise fantastic hospitality and good food.
