This place has long been my favorite hole in the wall sushi place! However on my most recent visit the food was awful! The tempura which was excellent and crispy before is now soggy. It was so bad this time round that I won't go back. I asked many times if the chef had changed or ownership had changed and I did not get a definitive answer.

It was supposed to be spicy salmon. Guessing just regular salmon rolls.

Ordered spicy salmon rolls. This is NOT spicy salmon rolls. Got just plain salmon rolls. Make sure to check your take out before leaving.

I reallllyyyy like Sushi Nami. The vibes are so elegant and relaxed. This restaurant feels very clean, so it's such a pleasant experience. There's classical music playing in the background, and there's just a pleasant vibe all around. I feel like the prices are kinda expensive for this small shop, but it's fine I guess... I enjoyed the takoyaki appetizer. My bf and I ordered 3 rolls: yellowtail, green dragon, and tuna (I think). All were very yummy to me, but only the green dragon roll stood out to my bf. The eel, mango, and avocado meshed together so well; it quite literally melted in my mouth. The rice was just the right temperature. I have to dock a star off this restaurant though because there was a pretty long bone in my tuna sushi :( This didn't ruin my meal but was still an unpleasant surprise to an otherwise amazing meal. Service is no-frills, just the way I like it. If only there wasn't that darn bone!

Nom Nom Japanese Restaurant in Paoli has permanently closed and a new Sushi Nami Japanese Restaurant has opened in its space under the management of the Sushi Nami restaurant in Wayne. They offer a wide selection sushi along with a number of robust and hearty Ramen bowls just right for staving off the chill of an Autumn eve. Unfortunately the dining-in experience is dreadful. The first time we visited, we waited 90 MINUTES [!] for our appetizers to come out---tonight it was AN HOUR!! Worse yet, both times we had to call the delays attention to the staff---they were too far occupied with the comings and goings of take out customers, some of whom we witnessed place their orders and leave with it whike we waited...and waited... Both times we were one of only three couples dining in. Nevertheless they blamed the delay on "the crowd" on our first visit (this time they admitted the kitchen had lost our order). Other nuisances: they ran out of iced green tva (both times) and tonight apologized that our Mochi desserts were partially melted---then served them and charged us for them! Don't get me wrong: the food is great and the staff is friendly, albeit inattentive. But it's going to be a long, long time before we choose to sit a long, long time watching people who come in after us walk away with their food!

I have ordered a couple of times from this place and also been there. Small place with good ambiance and great service. For the people trying out sushi for the first time, this is a excellent place to start.

Hidden little gem. My daughter and I walked in for a late lunch thinking it was more of a takeout place. We were pleasantly surprised it's full restaurant a really cute patio area to eat outdoors. The patio is secluded with lights and heaters. Staff is friendly and food was amazing!

This is our go to for delivery for sushi. There's many places in the area, but this is our favorite. The staff are friendlier than most.

The prices were also reasonable. My sister ordered several appetizers for the table, and then we each ordered an entree. For appetizers, we had the cucumber salad with garlic, the scallion pancake, and the shredded pig ear. The cucumber salad was fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the scallion pancake with dipping sauce, but I was not a fan of the shredded pig ear with chili oil. The texture was just too rubbery. As an entree, I ordered and loved their huge bowl of hot and sour soup. It was one of the best hot and sour soups I've ever tasted. Although it says one serving, it was large enough to be a meal. The spice level was just right, and the broth was rich and complex. However, being at a restaurant known for soup dumplings, I had to try the Lucky Six Soup Dumplings which ranged from black truffle to crab meat and pork. It was fun trying each type of dumpling (6 total), with the black truffle being my favorite. Be advised, they can be a challenge to eat as you want to slurp up all the soup inside without any spilling out. We were allowed to bring our own cake which was served by their cool robot. Human service was also efficient! Overall, a fun experience at a unique restaurant.

While the interior design and service are very good, food itself is lackluster and not of good value. My husband ordered $18 mini pot (five spice chicken), but he wasn't impressed by the flavor and portion. For him to say "the lunch is horrible", it means the flavor is really not there. I had the $18 signature chicken soup rice noodle. I would say it's of better value. But I wasn't too keen about the flavor either. Their food presentation is superb, but at the end of the day a restaurant needs to work on flavor and value if it's seeking long term success.

Hot pot: They bring a beautiful pot to your table with thr both & meat we selected: lamb. They add hot water when the broth gets low however that diluted the broth. I would rather they brought more broth. The lamb was good but some of the lamb was tough and some was very tender which made us think they were cooked at different times. I took it home and pressure cooked it and it was great. I added rice to my take away. The portions were so big, it could feed 4 to 6 people!! The manager Zoie came over and answered questions about the process. She was nice. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to going back.
