I ordered the JB Tempura Roll and the Yao Ming 7'6 Roll and both brought 10 pieces and were very large rolls I was shocked haha. The best little accident ever!!! We were originally planning to go to a different place and turned into the wrong shopping center but seen the sushi sign and we changed our minds and stopped in!!! Dave was our server and he was absolutely the best!!!! He knew the food and menu and did a fabulous job helping us with the menu !!! We were seated immediately and service was prompt. Their menu had abundant, yet carefully crafted options that were hard to choose between. We chose a miso soup, cream cheese rangoons, a volcano roll and filet mignon teppanyaki. They were absolutely delicious and portions were larger than a typical sushi restaurants. The first food stop made during my birthday month was to good ol' Sushi Lico. This continues to be one of my favorite sushi spots in Miami-Dade County. They made several changes to the inside of the restaurant in order for it to feel more modern. These changes have also extended to their already broad signature roll menu. My mom and I ordered edamame, as we do on every visit here. As always, the edamame was plentiful and had plenty of salt. For entrées, we both decided to try something new. My mom had the Yum Yum Mango Roll (Spicy tuna, fish tempura, cilantro, mango & masago. Topped with mango) while I had the Beauty & The Beast Roll (Half tuna, half eel, avocado, asparagus & scallions). Both rolls were increasingly French and excellent. Sushi rolls with eel in them, and without cream cheese in general, seem hard to come by in Miami. The focus was on the fish as well as the new ingredients being used. After that, we wrapped up our visit with an order of Thai Donuts, which came with a birthday candle in the middle for me to blow out. 7 donuts came with the order exactly, but it was definitely a healthy amount (6-8 donuts) with a condensed milk dipping sauce. As always, all very delicious and better than some of the "trendy" restaurants in Miami! Please make the trip out to Sushi Lico if you haven't already! read more

Great little sushi place in the country walk area Gad heard about this place from a friend. Since it was too late to do a Miami spice lunch we came here since it was close by. Lunch was until 3pm and we were happy to take the lunch menu. Well priced with a good amount of food. I went with a sashimi lunch combo that came with sashimi sushi and beef teriyaki. My hubby went for the red curry. Everything was delicious. A bit pricey but it was good. Some of the sashimi seemed like it was still frozen which was kind of eh. Teriyaki tasted well and was cooked well. The red curry had a nice spice to it. Wish it would of been a bit bigger however.
