Food and drinks are so-so. I would had rated them a zero. I arrived at the drive thru with just one car at the window ahead of me. I pulled up to the speaker at the drive thru and waited almost 10 mins for them to take my order. As I pulled up, I waited prob 5 mins and the car infront of me had already got his order. I waited a total of 30 mins for two drinks and two orders of sushi burritos. If I haven't paid yet, I woulda drove off. I only saw two cars for dine in or pick up order. I saw three employees so how long does it take you to make a drink or a sushi burrito. It's not worth it. Spent 32$, waited 30 mins for okay food and drinks. I'm not returning. read more

Fried California roll is huge and COVERED in oily batter.... definitely not what I expected (a nice thin tempura coating) the gyoza is just gross. It looks appealing in the box but one bite had me throwing it away. Rose milk tea tastes a bit chemically. Overall pretty disappointed with spending almost $20 on food I don't want to eat. Halfway thru my roll and my stomach is already crying out for help. Giving 3 stars because their sushi burritos are very delicious and the Thai iced tea is my favorite. I like the slushees here and the drive thru is a definite plus. Some of their sushi is ok, but some can be nasty. The crab roll for example, had some serious thick batter on it and was fried in, it seems, old batter. It smelled and tasted like fried chicken *uurrpp*. Also it's way to freaking big, so you have to take a bite out of it and it explodes everywhere like in those old taco shell commercials. If it were slightly smaller and not covered in KFC batter it'd be pretty good. I like their bento boxes and their miso is tasty. Their regular rolls such as spicy tuna and philly are good. I've had one sushi burrito and it was actually better than I thought it would be, and is a lot of food. Overall meh to good depending on what you get. Order wisely. read more

Ordered two rolls (Golden Cal and spicy tempura shrimp) and they were huge! We are talking about three and a half inch diameter, huge. They were tasty but impossible to eat with chopsticks so I had to eat the golden cal with a fork like a gringo. The tempura shrimp roll was taken to go after a few bites because it was just falling apart. (And we were full from the first one.) Each slice is about three bites worth and it needed a knife; the plastic fork wasn't cutting it (literally). The rolls are the same size as their burritos, minus the helpful wrapping paper. My husband made a good point about how normal sushi rolls are great because you get all of the flavors in every bite sized piece. Here, every bite is different (and not always in a good way) because of its size. We will probably come back, but take it to go. While delicious and cheap, if I am going to look like a rabid bear while eating I'd prefer the privacy of my own home... read more

I ordered a salmon roll. I had some type of raw fish in it but I could not guarantee that it was salmon, the fish was even warm. Probably the nastiest sushi I have ever had! I only ate two pieces. I will never go back or suggest this place to anyone. I'm almost embarrassed I tried this place, but decided to because the reviews were pretty good. I can get better sushi at Safeway or Raley's, from now on when I want fast sushi I will be going to the grocery store! At this point I'm praying I don't get sick from eating the two pieces that I did. We stopped here Sunday evening on our way back to Sacramento. We wanted boba tea and this popped up in yelp. We drove up and it seemed like it was closed but it was 2 hrs before the listed hours on yelp. I walked up and opened the doors so I thought they were open, the gentleman inside said they are closed but what did we want. I asked for milk tea with boba. He said no problems and fixed us both boba tea. It was very cold and tasted delicious. I love that it was simple for them to make, but it was delicious and he was very friendly. I felt bad that they were closed, but I really appreciate it that he helped us anyway. We will be back when we are in Chico again. read more

I went through the drive through to get a boba tea. It was very slow inside, but there were surprisingly more employees than you'd think (I counted 6) and I was the only one in the drive through the entire time, yet it took 16 minutes to make a boba tea?! The tea was good. The straw already comes in the cup, which I feel is weird. It should at least have the plastic or paper on the top for sanitary reasons. I will be back to try the food and hopefully update my review and give a better rating. Drive through experience was just really slow! read more

This place is my number 1 so far when moving from eugene Oregon. Pricing is fair and affordable. The drive-thru is a plus. They dont skimp on the fish in the sushi roll like some places do. First time trying sushi burrito king tonight and I am glad I did. The place is well kept, the service was great and the food was beyond my expectations in a good way. I had the garlic wings, soft shell sushi burrito and lychee milk tea with mango pearls. The wings were very good. My bf had the chicken burrito with coconut milk tea and mango pearls . His food was good as well. Total came out to under $25 for everything. I only knock one star because the tapioca Boba pearls wrere out of stock. Will come for another visit in the future. read more

If I could give no stars I would, I've been here before in the past and it was just okay... I thought I'd give it another shot but yet again they disappointed me. After waiting in line for over 25 minutes I should've known that this too is going to be another disappointing visit. After reaching the order window they took another 15 minutes just to take my order. What's crazy is I only ordered two sushi burritos and two teas thought it would be an easy enough order then waited another 30 minutes at the window for them to prepare it and give it to me. The wait times were so bad people behind me were backing up and leaving after they handed me my order I asked for a couple sides of spicy mayo the young man then informed me it would be $.50 after He spoke to another employee the other employee came up and said it would be $.50 for each additional spicy mayo no I don't mind paying extra for sides but the amount of spicy mayo that they give you is really ridiculous. I truly hope this place gets their stuff together because I would hate to see a small chain business go under for slow service and overprice sides of spicy mayo until I hear that they have improved I will not be coming back. read more

Two weeks ago, went inside ordered, since they do not have beer, I asked for a water. First time in my seventy years I had to pay for water. (.50) Probably, because any decent establishment will be serving beer. No big deal, unless you are an 'Merican. Then it is a big deal. Second, I go in there today and standing at the counter for no less that 20 minutes. The drive thru is going steady, but they forgot about the counter. Two clowns. walked past me without even an acknowledgement that I am something different that a smoked sausage. One of them could have at least taken my order. This place is a hidden gem. They have delicious cheap satisfying food. We have gotten the combo plates and the sushi and it is all delicious. Our kids love the popcorn chicken and how each combo comes with an egg roll and soup. The only downside is the wait sometimes but it's always worth it. My parents & I were a little sketchy of trying Sushi King each time we drive by. Wondering if it would be, hard to know when most of the reviews online are bad. Finally one day I asked my Mamma if she wanted to go try their drinks for a change instead of T-Bar before picking up our dinner so we did. I ordered the Lychee Milk Tea with boba it was so good. It reminded me of those Hawaiian drinks. My Mamma ordered a Almond Milk Tea with boba which was also really good and not overpowering at all. We also ordered a Peach Milk Tea with boba for my Step-Dad and that was my Mamma's favorite so my parents switched drinks when we got home, lol. All three of the milk teas we got were super good and we all keep trying new drinks each time we go. We have been several times now to get Milk teas with boba, slushes with boba! My family & I have only gone once for the food, EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious! Surprisingly very good, better than most places located here in town for Sushi. EVERYTHING has been GREAT from here no bad complaints or comments! Each time we go everything is fresh & very delicious! Wow! I have driven by a million times and said I'd probably never eat here (fast food sushi?? And what the heck is boba?). Got a wild hair...heck, Now I'm sad I waited so long. Had the sashimi burrito (hey if your gonna take a chance, I say go big). Holy yummy ! Basically a giant roll. Full of flavor and all the right ingredients. Amount of Rice was perfect (I had expected too much based on my preconceived notions). Fish was fresh and not skimpy. It was clearly just made. I also tried a boba tea out of curiously. It's not something I'd order much, as I don't like to drink my calories. But it was very delicious as well! Many versions but basically it's cold tea with milk and your choice of sugar flavor. Boba (optional) are these weird round little jellies. They remind me of rice candy. Interestingly good. During summer the tea would be a great alternative to iced coffee. The staff was very polite, patient and helpful (I asked a LOT of questions about the tea at the drive thru window). I felt like I had a very healthy lunch and I felt for what I got the price was fair. I'll go back! read more

Okay so people know there's not much to Chico besides the college parties and some hiking spots. I particularly came to only visit my friend and had a double date with her. We decided to meet up at this location to grab some food and drinks for lunch. I had already drove for 2 hours from Sacramento so I was a bit hangry. I pulled into the parking lot and it was very spacious and even had a drive thru! I don't think I've ever seen a sushi and boba restaurant have a drive thru!! I went to the front counter and looked over my options before ordering. I decided to get the Peach Green tea (w/ Boba) in Large and my friend got the Honey Lemon Tea( w/Boba). We got spicy tuna roll and caterpillar rolls~ We chatted while we waited and she was telling me that they serve all types of dishes such as sushirittos, boba drinks, and even sushi! There were only about 8 tables and there was lots of seating, so I think this place is more of a to-go take out restaurant rather than a eat-in style type of place. Nonetheless, the workers here were very sweet and even brought out the drinks for us with napkins, straw and utensils. My friend ordered some sushi rolls and sesame balls and they looked delicious, but I just ate the rolls I had ordered. The caterpillar rolls was filled with avocado at the top and had lots of delicious yummys on the inside! I was pleasantly surprised that their honey lemon green tea was so flavorful. I could definitely taste that they use real tea and even had about 3 slices of lemon! I also tried my friend's Peach Green tea and it had the perfect amount of syrup and once again, it had the nice floral tea aroma to it. I never thought that a small shop serving boba and sushi would be so delicious! I think this is definitely one of those hole in the wall restaurants that one should visit when in the area~ read more
