I was in the mood for sushi and wanted to try something new.
This was nearby and off I go.
I had the lunch special, $6 for 11 pieces, it was freshly made and the pieces of California Maki were Huge, so were the avocado roll pieces.
I also had the seafood Miso soup which was very good.
I was not in the mood to spend too much for lunch,
$20 is the norm in Montreal to have a good sushi meal,
this is going to be the same here, most standard rolls are about $7 and premium rolls top out at $10, but i'm pretty sure their size and freshness will make it worthwile.
The service is quite friendly, but English and French are a bit hard, no worries though since you mostly just have to point at what you want on the menu.
The decor is quite nice,the kind of sushi take-out joint you want to eat in.
Big Plus is that it's right across from the Metro. read more
