Rainbow futomaki, California temaki and a salmon tropical maki. All the ingredients were very fresh and the rice was perfectly al dente! The young lady working with the owners (cute Korean couple) was very sweet and apologetic for having me wait an extra 20 minutes. She even gave me two stamps on my reward card instead of one. Yes, they give a out reward card. After 8 purchases of 25$ minimum, you get a free sushi of your choice. This is not high dining sushi but it's very very good sushi (well this time at least)! Last but not least, the Oh maki that was supposed to have salmon AND tuna but the tuna never made it. Plus, they stacked the pieces so that only four out of 8 had masago and sesame seeds on it. But living so out of Montreal and craving sushi, I caved and ordered take-out from this place. I came in at 6 pm on a Sunday evening and the place was empty but seems to be busy preparing orders for delivery. Since it's my first time here, i ordered a 15 pieces combo for 12,95 plus taxes just to have as much variety as possible. The food was ok at best. The size of the rolls are bigger then what I'm used to. The service was quite slow although very friendly. I waited 35 minutes for my order to which I had placed before the phone started to ring for dinner service. If i were to judge only on the food, i would of given this place 1 star but gave it an extra one for the service and price. I didn't finish the food but like I said, it's not unbeatable nor is it bad. Maybe I'm just very picky. I sure hope that I remember this time and wait patiently for a night out to my favourite Japanese/sushi restaurant.
