Being new to the area, it was ESSENTIAL to find a place with good sushi. After reading a few…read morereviews and changing mind a few times, we settled on Tom Tom Sushi in Blaineville as its only a few minute drive from home. To say we were blown away by the quality and selection of Tom Tom Sushi would be an understatement. The place is small, in a strip mall, with a couple of tables inside should you want to eat there. Its primarily for takeout. The sushi selection is outstanding, the Tom Tom Roll is one we really enjoyed, California Roll was awesome, and the appetizers such as the shrimp tempura and the fresh salad were some of the best we've had from a sushi spot, and we've eaten in hundreds of them over the years. The rice on the rolls is tender and fresh, the ingredients the same and the prices very reasonable. We had a great dinner for two, with 4 rolls, two salads, one shrimp tempura for just over 50 bucks! Highly recommended!

The servers are also so nice and friendly

The food is old and cold and taste like it was leftovers from last night...Im really disappointed…read moresince it's a new place and should be Vibing with good food..but reality it's a total no-no..!! The food choices are very limited plus the servers not very friendly and didn't say thanks when we tipped them..they just take the receipt and go..didn't offer us our own receipt..how's that ok?! I have had better experiences way better than here at saint Jean sushi place..1000x better..will never step foot back there ever again... Dessert menu so limited..only vanilla ice cream and flower fried bun,.that's it,,unlike other places: green tea..red bean and mango flavours..whatever anyways,, Extra bonus: my hubby got food poisoning right after we done eating (1h later) must be bad hygiene or just expired foods....just total waste money and time here...

I love the online menu, there are clear pictures and descriptions of what you'll get. It's convenient to order and pick up when it's ready, you have the choice of paying online or in person. The first time I ordered I added a note online stating "no wasabi please" and this was printed in bold on my receipt however the note was disregarded. I added a new set of instructions the second time around and I'm glad the staff followed it closely. There's a nice range of combinations, I love that you can have the choice of soy or rice paper wraps. Everything was presently nicely and tasted fresh and delicious. The orders were also ready within the alloted time frame. I will definitely come back! Note there are coupons for free sushis on their flyers so don't toss that away ;)

The food and service here are fantastic, however, I have Celiac disease and when I informed my…read moreserver he brought me GF soy sauce, but unfortunately that's where is stopped. I was extremely ill for the rest of my evening as there must've been gluten in the sauces. The ordering system tells guests to let the staff know about dietary restrictions and allergies, but if the itemsa were marked with allergy restrictions (ie, gluten free, dairy free, etc) - this would alleviate stress on the servers and the delays in getting answers I asked 3 different servers when they brought food over if items were gluten free - this is frustrating for me as I don't want to delay others getting their food with having the servers asking the kitchen constantly. As much as I love the food here, being sick all night is not my idea of a good evening. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not prepared for people with dietary restrictions and allergies. g

This was my first experience with the seasonal harvest menu at Cabane à Sucre Au Pied de Cochon,…read moreand it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and felt true to the season. We started with the artichoke salad with coppa and stracciatella fresh, creamy, and well balanced. The mi-cooked trout with beurre blanc and chanterelles was rich yet delicate, while the ratatouille tart added a rustic, comforting touch. The gnocchi with foie gras was indulgent in the best way, and the turkey and sausage dish was hearty and satisfying. Dessert was a highlight: the raspberry tart was light, beautifully crafted, and the perfect way to end the meal. The overall experience felt special generous portions, incredible seasonal flavours, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's clear how much thought goes into this menu, and it really shines through in every bite. Highly recommend experiencing this before you die.
