**Vegan/Vegetarian Friendly** Vegan sushi is always high on my list because I can't find it where I live. Most places are a let down, but Bloom was nothing but spectacular! They did an excellent job on flavors, textures, and sauces - it is so much more than your basic avocado roll! My favorite part of this place - they have 2 Omakase Experiences that are offered, and NOT everyone at the table is required to order. We did the Regular Omakase Experience between 2 people and it was a great way to taste all the popular items and then filled in with a la carte options. Regular Omakase Experience: (1) Edamame - Opted for this instead of Miso Soup (2) Crispy Gyoza - Perfectly crunch and paired very well with the almond butter-kimchi sauce (unexpected good!) (3) Mangoo - excellent flavors (4) Orenji - excellent textures (5) Rock & Roll Spicy - the apple in here was unique and delicious (6) Kamikase Somon - the texture of the vegan salmon was not for us (7) Avocat - similar to an avocado roll (8) Brownie - very rich and dense, wasn't for us. A La Carte Options: (1) Arancini - their sauce made this extraordinary (2) Mr.Crunch Roll - If you're not a truffle fan, this may not be for you (3) New Delhi - pakora meets sushi PS: Make a reservation. While there wasn't a wait, it was still a busy restaurant for Friday dinner.

Customer complain about too many fires outside!! Must have thought it was real fish. Glad I had a booth instead of crowded table seating along the glass wall Mr Crunch, interesting presentation with mushroom mixture topped on rolled rice and other ingredients. Flavorful but tricky stuffing my mouth Blossom roll more salmon, missed the no rice and just a wrapped fish serving. Very tasty but needed to fill down as a whole since dropping out the bottom Crabe crispy rice, loved the spicy mayo and crunch rice added substance to the crab Salmon appetizer , pretty realistic slices of "salmon" Genmaicha tea Brownie with raspberries sauce. Moist, dense, still prefer ice cream Friendly waitress bilingual. Had some recommendations. Menu bilingual too Never asked how my good was though. Spent more than omaskase but enjoyed my choices. Appreciate the creativity of the menu

I love places with a sampler platter and this one had a good one. It came with soup, gyoza, a douzen assorted sushi and a dessert. Splitting it with my partner worked out well and let us try a bunch. The types of sushi were pretty varried so each one felt pretty unique. Some were more focused on the creamy aspects while others focused more on the fresh crunch but both were good in different ways. The staff was friendly and quick and the palce itself was filled with a warm hue which is always nice.

This place has good selection of vegan sushi. If you love sushi and rather keep the sea creatures live, this may be a great choice for you. There are good use of tofu, tempeh along with other creative ingredients. Clean and cozy dining area. Enjoy sushi made with various flavors. We liked the dumplings and the sauce that came with them, they are better eaten separately to savor the flavors individually.

I second what my fellow Yelpers are saying about the restaurant. One of the best sushi places I have been too. Outstanding food, modern, cozy decor & great ambience. They also have patio seating outside. I order about 6 different rolls and all of them where equal delicious! Prices are a bit high for the portion, but I understand that a lot of work and art goes into making this menu. Yes, I am a sushi vegan fan and highly recommend this place......

We arrived to a packed restaurant facing Montréal en Lumière. We didn't need a reservation but request if you have seating preferences. We sat outside on a platform outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant. It was cozy but a tight space. The waitress was professional and attentive. It was a packed restaurant so don't expect quick service; make sure you have good company to keep you distracted from the fact that it's been 10 minutes and your order hasn't been paced yet + another 15-20 minutes before your apps come out. We ordered the +2 omakase & rock and roll futomaki , and salmon sashimi appetizer. Really interesting flavors that I've never tried before. The salmon sashimi was delicious & well prepared. The rock and roll futomaki could've been softer (rice was hard).

Highly recommend this place for their appetizers (only). They have some of the best miso soup and gyoza. But when it comes to their sushi, they mix their fruits, nuts (almonds), and veggies altogether to make a huge blend of unappetizing sushi. I was super excited after having their appetizers and was looking forward to their entree but twas a huge disappointment. Also, their service was super slow. For those that don't know, this place is vegan so don't expect your regular tuna and salmon here.

The food here was amazing! Beyond delicious! Service was excellent and everyone was friendly! Beautiful atmosphere!

One of the best sushi places I have been to. Outstanding food. Modern , cozy decor & great ambience. Tons of sushi and poke bowl choices. Superb food !!! Great location !! Make sure to block sufficient time.. takes much more time than expected or maybe we were starving !! 5 mins Walking distance to St Paul, Marriott based hotel.

Plateau to share. I actually suggest this if first experience.

Was really looking fwd to this. Heard they were making sushis with flowers, but unfortunately, from what I understand, they had to revisit their menu since the pandemic. In general, the sushis are very good and fresh. Some mixes left me on a neutral notes. The ambiance is wonderful. Decor zen and relaxing. The seats are not too comfy. Mostly benches so not elders or injured friendly. I still recommend, as my best friend looooves this place.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance and decor. The menu has a good selection of hosomaki and futomaki. However, I wish they had more dishes without deep-fried ingredients. Most of the rolls have tempura or something fried in it. I like that their online menu has pictures of all their dishes, which helps with ordering.

New Delhi Roll. A religious experience.

The presentation SAS a little different from other ones we've done - they did it as several courses - sashimi, nigiri, and rolls, followed by dessert. The fish was fresh and well presented - we enjoyed every bite. Or server was friendly and knowledgeable - at one point, we asked him about sushi chefs, and why e seldom see female ones... He checked in with the chef and came back with a good answer... He definitely added to our night. We highly recommend!

We showed up on time for our reservation. The restaurant is dark, and sleek looking, so it could be a place for dinner or for drinks at the bar. We browsed the menu, and decided to go light and ended up trying the the following: - Edamame (with Furakake): Good. Soy beans can only be so different between restaurants. I will note that some of the soy beans we got were the biggest I've even seen. Furakake added needed flavour. - Avocado Truffle Tacos: OK. Quite tiny, but well made and tasted good. I didn't get any hint of truffle though. - Wagyu Dumplings: Good. But similar to any good quality non-wagyu dumpling I've had before. Overpriced. - Paradise Maki: Good. I like the texture of the tempura. - White Dragon Maki: Very good. I think the ponzu sauce elevates this dish another level. Service was pretty standard. Did all the tight things, and timely, but not particularly friendly. Overall, it was an OK visit. Food overall was generally good quality, but very expensive for the quality and quantity you get. But I also recognize that sometimes you pay for ambiance, and you certainly do here.

Located on the 45th floor, you can get beautiful panoramic views of the city, including of the St. Lawrence river. Highly recommend stopping by to watch the sunset transition into nighttime. Now onto their menu- I was expecting a bit more food options, but they really only have light bites/appetizers, so I'd eat elsewhere beforehand. I ordered the Wagyu brioche, which was incredible, but I wasn't as impressed with the crispy hosomaki, which was overly salty and didn't have that much dimension of flavor. The drinks were incredible and innovative though, incorporating authentic Japanese flavors and three eras of Japan's history. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and accommodating, managing to snag me a much coveted bar spot without a prior reservation.

Definitely looking forward to coming back next time we're in town.

Once seated, things happen very quickly...it is go, go, go (in the best possible way.) We ordered appetizers first, the tempura green beans with a delicious truffle mayo, gyoza and the tofu salad (they make it fresh every Sunday). Green beans were everyone's fave, but I have to mention the (pickled?) vegetables on the salad. So flavourful! Also tried the egg drop soup which is so tasty. Mains were the salmon tuna bowl, the beef short ribs, the shrimp burger, and 48 hour pork with curry sauce. Everything was wonderful! Finished with their soft serve ice cream, I had the cherry blossom but one of us had the sake, which is a shot of sake poured on top. Amazing! You can even have wasabi or ginger... I'll try that next time (and there will be a next time soon!)

You can also order to go here I believe. They really operate efficiently, expect fast service! Tables are tightly situated and there's a cozy bar situation where I sat this time, able to watch the chefs cook right in front of me. The daily specials are posted on their Instagram page, as well as written on pieces of paper around the restaurant. My server quickly helped me to water and a glass of sake. I placed a to go order for one of the daily specials, the grilled sea bass with sushi rice and salad, with some kimchi. I also ordered the BBQ chicken with tortilla and salad, as well as vegetable gyoza. Everything was incredible. Truly. The gyoza came topped with green onions and was SO crispy and hot and was perfect with their soy sauce. I thought sea bass was wonderful with a unique almost smoky flavor that melted in my mouth paired with the slightly sweet sticky rice. The barbecue chicken was great as well and better the next day. One thing I don't really understand is why they served plain flour tortillas cut into quarters with their food. We didn't utilize this, nor the white butter/mayo sauce that came alongside it. I hope to eat here often, for years to come and am so happy to see this iconic Japanese restaurant still thriving years later.
