Chicken teriyaki
Diana M.

California Roll was more rice. FBI roll was okay nothing to say I would order it again. Calamari was the best. Chicken teriyaki was good. Unfortunately when we were going to paid my bill had an avocado roll I told them we asked for two California rolls without avocado. She claimed that we asked for two California rolls and an avocado roll when we told her no then she says well then I have to pay. Oh yeah you did the order wrong.

Giving Sushi Garden a 4 out of 5 stars as I didn't particularly like the food I ordered. I ordered the Kpop Bulgogi Roll which had beef bolgolgi, some sort of seafood I didn't recognize, cucumber, and pickled radish. It sounded like a bimbimbap sushi roll which typically love and order. But this wasn't it. It was well made but I was expecting a different flavor profile. I understand that's a preference thing. Interior is quite small but it's good for a lunch date or solo dining.

I have been to Sushi Garden more than a handful of times. I am never unimpressed. I like to get the Delicate Roll and the Mongolian Beef Roll which is not something that you find too often. Located in a small strip mall with about 8 tables/booths and a small bar. I will define return whenI am in the Leavenworth/Lansing area.

I was very surprised today. We went in again for lunch because of their lunch special sign out front and found that the food was outstanding as usual but what was even better with them that was the dessert. They had Matcha ice cream, which I had never had before. It is excellent. It is actually green tea ice cream. Matcha is green tea. Finally ground. The service was excellent and the mood inside the place was nice. Calm and peaceful for lunch. That was great anyways I just wanted to let you guys know if you ever want Matcha ice cream and Leavenworth they got it and I don't 73 years old and I've never seen it before

Sushi Garden has great food for a great price. The lunch bento boxes are a crazy amount of food for a cheap price. The spicy chicken and beef bulgogi are some of my favorites. The sushi rolls are standard for what you would find at most sushi places. The services is always fast and extremely friendly. I have been offered free soup several times when I arrived to eat while I waited for my pickup order. The sushi roll combos are a great deal as well as you get about 16 pieces between the two rolls for about $10-12.

What a cool spot! My wife and I stopped off last week for lunch and decided to try something new…read moreout. What a great call!!! Our waitress was Connie, and she rocked! She walked us through the process to cook at our table, walked us through the sauce bar and even made us some of the absolute best dipping sauce for our meal!!! I legit could have drank the stuff, it was that good!!!! We cooked up several different steak selections, some chicken and even tried some brisket. Everything was awesome, and Connie kept checking in on us to make sure we did not get overwhelmed or confused. We are already planning a return with the family to try it out again (and may try to sneak out a gallon of whatever that dipping sauce Connie made us!).

What a unique experience!! I was very skeptical because I've…read morebeen pretty disappointed at places where I have to cook my own meal in the past. At least KPOT makes it fun! You choose either a soup broth or the grill or both. (If you choose to do both, the whole table has to pay an extra five dollars per head, even if you only choose one or the other per person.) I'm sure they get tired of explaining to first time visitors, but it definitely felt rushed and unexplained. A few basic recipes or pairings to give you something to start with would be really nice for a first timer! The sauce bar is where it's at! Make sure you make a great fresh. For example, try: Soy sauce, the K-pop sauce, something a little sweet with the Sesame oil. Sesame paste, peanut paste, cilantro, garlic, a little bit of vinegar and Sesame seeds. Or whatever combo you love! This one was fire!! Ultimately, our favorite was the grill and all the different meats! Put the veggies in the broth were delicious too! It's so hard to choose!

It s in a cool old building, there's a vault door that leads to the kitchen, and a large skylight over the bar and dining area with hanging plants. The Korean fried chicken is so good, I loved the dry rubbed ones the best, might actually be on the list of best fried chicken I have had. The Crab Rangoon was absolutely fantastic as well. I had Spicy BBQ Pork & Rice Cakes for my entree and asked for it to be extra spicy, a menu option, but found it rather bland, it lacked any of big bold character that I usually associate with Korean, however my experience with Korean food is rather limited especially compared to other Asian cuisines so I'll be reserving judgement on that dish. Overall great place to be, the service was top notch, and those Crab Rangoon and KFC wings were amongst the finest examples I have had of those items. This is on my list of restaurants to drag my wife to.

Better than expected!…read more There was only 1 server working that day, but service was still relatively fast. We came in for lunch and ordered the bibimbop with spicy pork, hot tea, and spicy tofu soup. The bibimbop with spicy pork was flavorful and hearty. The spicy tofu soup came hot, was filling and came with a side of rice. The hot tea was comforting and soothing on the stomach, but scalding when first served. Nice interior with a skylight and greenery. There was an older movie playing on the side that was entertaining. Prices are on the higher end for the dishes offered, but with the small Asian population in the area it's understandable and the flavors were good. Would recommmend.

Really enjoyed my experience at Chingu!…read more The brussel sprouts, which came in a sweet savory sauce. They were cooked very nicely and had great texture and flavor. The tofu was amazing, it had a great light breadcrumb like texture, and was soft and delicious. I well say the dish tasted amazing but a dipping sauce would've really elevated the dish to the next level. The chicken wings were great as well, they had a sweet glaze on the outside with a light crunch to the skin. Perfectly cooked! The drinks were a bit hit and miss but I enjoyed the Take Two and the had a nice variety of foreign beers and some good local beers. Our waiter/ bartender was awesome, he was super patient and guided us to some great options on the menu. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

We enjoyed HH kimchi fries, HH sliders, LA Galbi, Korean Fried Chicken, and pork belly--all winners. We also enjoyed soju in white grape, grapefruit, strawberry, and plum. Our group was split between plum and strawberry as our favorites. Service was patient and courteous in person. Customer service over email was helpful, though a bit informal. Environment is charming and modern. Music was good!
