    AYCE sushi

pretty good experience; i plan on coming back! my boyfriend and i went here for their all-you-can-eat option and it was very fulfilling! the place is very small, almost cramped, but cozy. while the AYCE menu is smaller in comparison to their regular menu, it still contained many choices. you're only allowed to order 4 rolls at once. for every piece you do not finish, they add $1 onto your bill. my only issue is the speed at which sushi is delivered. our server only took our order whenever she saw that our plate was completely empty. there'd be a little delay (~10 minute wait) in between each plate we ordered, making it harder to enjoy the AYCE aspect. however, i understand they might do this to eliminate food waste. overall, i would absolutely recommend for those looking to save on sushi !

Vibes have always been good and chill. I've come here so many times bc Moraga has NOTHING and here are my tips: - the lunch special is UNMATCHED in this economy - all you can eat sushi is only worth if you can reliably down 3+ rolls - all you can eat is only weekdays, NOT including Friday - they aren't stingy with sashimi, kind of $$ tho - never had a problem with service - can get crowded on weekends, only got ~8 tables

Thick Yellow tail collar, easily 5 x 7 for you engineers!

5 - Stars for Another one of my local Hwy 24/680 freeway corridor of Japanese Restaurants. Moraga, CA's "Sushi Fighter" at ' Happy Hour ' dinner time ! The signature dish that ( if available ) is the yardstick used for measurement : Hamachikama -- brief mouthwatering description here: Hamachi Kama (はまちのカマ) is the collar of the yellowtail located just above the gills and below the head. It is the fattiest part of the fish, making it naturally juicy, and there are two located in each yellowtail (one per side). Typically, Hamachi is grilled or broiled until the skin is crisp. . . Deliciously prepared and highly satisfying to eat with the Ponzu dipping sauce. Seaweed Salad so fresh with that crunch! My 'Order Two-rolls' for $10.00 were the .. Tuna Avocado and .. Spicy Tuna Bonus if you have young adults with you, they have their own menu "which is very reasonable" said a parent who was also waiting to be seated. Important: Many To-Go orders during dinner since seating is tight but, go visit in-person so that you can be the judge. One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars ! I approve of this rating, Jay M.

Outstanding among other sushi places - taste is the best. It's popular spot. Not much table. Better come 5 PM to secure table

Lately we've been ordering the catering trays to just eat it quietly at home on a nice Friday! Tray C for classic rolls is a family pleaser!

Back again! Dad broke tradition and ordered the three entree bento box, surprising all…read more My 49'er roll-perfect. I'm not an avocado fan so the sushi chef kindly omitted the avos. It's better this way. Try it. Saturday was unusual in that they were short staffed and almost at capacity. The food and service did not suffer. I'm not so sure I'd be that pleasant if I had to serve the entire restaurant on my own. To add to the vibe, I dropped the soy sauce container. Fortunately, me and my light pink shirt were the only casualties, but I made a huge mess. Napkins were thrown my way by other customers. I cleaned the table and floor. Yes, I really went for it. Most of the soy sauce was on me and my shoes. The server apologized she didn't completely wipe up my mess. No worries. It was my fault. Hashi Gawa has become a fave for Dad and I. It should be yours too.

First time trying this spot . Dine in review let's get into it !…read more Me and babe have been on a sushi kick lately since coming back from Japan. He found this place so we went to give it a try. It's in a plaza so there's parking . When you walk in it's a cute store front . Modern but cozy . Customer service was nice and fun . Our waitress was very helpful . Oysters on the half shell were fresh. Yall know that's my favorite and I'll never tell no lies ! The sauce they put on it was a nice touch and not overbearing the fresh oyster taste ! Tempura has a nice crispy batter and the prawns were plump not skimpy or chewy . I also got the Santa Barbara hand roll because I really wanted uni but they don't sell uni as an appetizer. The hand roll itself was good nice flavor loved the salmon eggs , just wish there was more uni ( probably because that's what I really wanted lol I'm being honest okay ). But the star of the show for me was the SPICY LION KING ROLL . I've had plenty of lion king rolls throughout the years but never had a spicy one and it was bomb . I think what makes it spicy is the sauce they use . Wasn't too hot just an extra little kick to everything going on . We were sitting right next to the sushi makers and they overheard us talking about how good it was and they loved our vibe . We chatted and got to a point they gave us a free dessert which was so good ! I forgot the name but it was like a soft fluffy pancake filled with cold cream like vanilla ice cream ! I'd definitely give them a try and would come again .

Immaculate service!…read more Chef Kenji and Coco provided us with an exquisite omakase experience of seventeen courses. Not your basic slice and serve sushi but each piece was took days to prepare. The curing process of the fish and incredible house made soya sauces, yes he made more than one. As well as a very tasty ponzu sauce. While Chef Kenji plated each dish they were served by his wife, Coco. She provided a description of each dish and well as the best way to enjoy the full flavors of each. She was very detailed as to which sauce to use, if any, and how you should place is in your mouth. I can't say enough good things about this humble and almost hidden away gem. We will be back!

It's owned by a wife and husband team, and they take a limited number of tables per night. They offer a unique range of fishes all flown in from Japan. We have had the dine-in and takeout options and both were delicious. They provide instruction and recommendations on how to best enjoy the sushi (such as dipping in soy sauce versus ponzu). It can be difficult to contact them, but I have always left a message in the past, and they have gotten back to me within a week. I would recommend ordering at least a week in advance for sushi platters.
