Cold Sake. Huge assortment available. Highly recommend this!
    Michael A.

We went here for a late Thursday night meal & we're completely blown away how delicious the food was. Place was in a small mini mall (parking limited). The inside was dark with a centrally located sushi bar. Service was quick. Plenty of sushi, sashimi, ramen, udon choices. There some great vegetarian options as well. We ordered karaage, yellowtail & mackerel sushi, vegetable roll, vegetable goyza, avocado roll, miso soup & cold sake (kabota junmai). The fish was so fresh & flavorful. The vegetable roll was fantastic with a mix of pickled vegetables & seaweed. Definitely a must order! The cold sake had so much flavor & complemented the meal. Only downer was the miso soup, tasted watered down. Overall loved the place 9/10; service 9/10 & will return when in the area.

Just came back after a few years away and oh my gosh talk about time travel. It feels like not much has changed and I really love feeling that especially with so much going on out in the world. The service is always welcoming. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful. I love this place!!! I highly recommend for anyone who really just wants good sushi. I have many great memories at this place. Their apple juice is so delish too, I hope that brand does not get changed.

Have been going here for over a DECADE with my partner! The sushi is delicious and the quality has remained consistent this entire time. Love the chill, intimate vibe. The business owner, Gloria, is the sweetest and has been hanging on since COVID. Please support this amazing small business!

Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and the food was pretty good, on top of that they open late, so we wouldn't miss a good sushi meal.

I go to this place very often for late night sushi! Recently, Ive noticed such a beautiful food display in my takeout orders lately so I had to take a picture and share! The staff is always so nice and attentive and I can tell they care about how their food is published. The atmosphere in the restaurant feels very safe and homey too. Even dining in for 1 after 10pm doesn't seem weird there!

I would first like to give a shout out to our server Daniel, super guy that was very polite and attentive!! Idk what you pay him but he probably deserves more!! The food was really good and the vibe was so chill and almost comforting like if you were at a family gathering. I would certainly recommend coming here for your next sushi date !!

Been a minute since I went but nothing has changed. Staff is still friendly, atmosphere is still chill and quaint, and food is still great. I need to remember to go more often like I used to. I wish they had late night happy hour.

Supposedly "Spicy black ramen" but it's just Shin ramen
    Phuc H.

I rarely write reviews but this needs to be said. I ordered the "spicy black ramen" because I was craving some ramen, turned out it was just spicy Shin ramen with a bit of seaweed and green onion on top. I could have easily make this at home AND ADD AN EGG to it. This is extremely lazy and sad for a Japanese restaurant. The sashimi and sushi were decent but in no way great, and definitely doesn't excuse the instant noodle pack for $12

I found this place on Yelp while we were in the area 1 night. Kind of a scary sketchy spot especially since we're not from the area. The place was dark and quiet but inside the restaurant there was a big party the waiter was tending to. He did let us know it might be a bit of a wait for our foods bc of the large party ahead of us. Surprisingly it was not long at all. Everything we ordered was pretty good! I would say this place is on the pricier side so beware if you get hungry and start ordering everything on the menu like us. However food was amazing so you will not be disappointed! We even had some for leftovers the next morning and still bomb! I recommend ordering the ika sashimi! Omg sooo freakin bombbb!!! It had masago on top and it was heaven!

We decided to give it a try on our first night. Everything from the staff friendliness to the ambiance to the taste of the food was exceptional! The specialty drinks were delicious, and the happy hour prices were more than reasonable. Everything was so good that we went back for a second happy hour in a row. The second visit was just as enjoyable, so much that we decided to visit on Sunday to check out their all you can eat brunch. The selections were amazing with a few exceptions. Some standouts were the ube pancakes, matcha French toast, Toro tartare toast, and garlic scallop fried rice. Some items on the menu left more to the imagination such as the spicy tuna crispy rice, which had no distinct flavor, and the fried oysters. Outside of those selections, the brunch options were amazing and worth the cost. Shout out to Ryan and Koda for the hospitality, and the bartenders that served us during happy hour. I LOVE this place and can't believe it took me this long to try it!…read more My friend and I ordered the Taberu Lunch Course (basically a mini omakase), and every course was thoughtfully prepared. The course included a chawanmushi with shiitake mushroom and shrimp, followed by 7 pieces of seasonal wild-caught fish. My favorite part was the mini kaisendon with Kumamoto oyster with caviar, sweet amaebi with creamy Bara uni, and toro that completely melted in my mouth. The yuzu mochi at the end was perfect -- not too sweet and had a nice chew to it. We also ordered the spicy garlic soy edamame, mizu tako aburi, and spicy tuna crispy rice. The crispy rice was a standout -- crunchy, flavorful, and topped with spicy tuna, eel sauce, and serrano. Delicious! Service was on point. Andrew, the team leader, was super friendly and knowledgeable, and his recommendation of the yuzu sakari highball ended up being my favorite drink of the night. Slightly sweet, citrusy, and dangerously easy to drink. The owner Lynn, chef Sam, chef Sylvia, and chef Joon were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really tell how much care goes into the food here. The restaurant also has a quiet, intimate ambiance that made my experience feel even more relaxing. I love that the fish selection changes with the seasons, making it even more unique. This place just earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The restaurant has a fun lively atmosphere especially with their 90s and 80s hits playlist. We ordered the poke bowl, sashimi bowl and the lobster dynamite bowl. Usually poke bowls at sushi places are quite small with the spare cuts of meat. To my surprise there was plenty of fish, perfect amount of yummy sauces, and a large portion. The food was beautifully presented as well. The fish itself wasn't the freshest (mom and I went 6pm Thursday). They even served us quite a large portion of ice cream, and 2 sushi pieces on the house.

It's not very far from Disney, but far enough from the crowds. First, the service was great. They were very nice and attentive. It was pretty slow, but it was Sunday on a holiday weekend. We ordered several sushi rolls and a pork katsu. The flavors were all delicious. The spicy scallops hand roll was great and they didn't hide it under krab or any other fillers. It was a little spicier than I expected and it was delicious. What I most appreciated was I was able to order more rolls for variety because an order was 4 pieces. The price reflected the amount and so you really could try different rolls and not pay $15-20 for each. The restaurant was cozy and tastefully decorated.
