Let me first say that I come heavily biased. I just moved back to Dublin after living in Asia for 6 years. I found the restaurant very clean, the staff extremely friendly, and the customers happy. I just didn't find the quality of the food to be authentic, it felt more Americanized with smaller fish to rice portions and the combinations offered in the rolls unlike what I am used to. They didn't have some of the higher quality pieces like Toro tuna, understandably because there isn't a large enough demand. I suppose I was hoping the high rating meant I was going to find what I have grown to love about sushi. It just wasn't the case tonight. read more

Good Japanese food is a rarely in this day an age. Especially in a community like Dublin where the common meal consists of a large fry and a diet coke. Sushidotcom is a nice restaurant that can treat ones craving for raw fish on top of rice. Sushi is a great invention and this restaurant does a fabulous job making it. The prices might be a little large, but for high quality ingredients one has to pay a little more. I recommend sushidotcom to anyone who enjoys a little Japanese culture in their life. We ordered through door dash so I don't know if that changes things... but we have gotten sushi in take out from other places and never been this disappointed. Got the yummy roll and the very California roll. I didn't say yum at all. We also ordered the chicken fried rice and it was very lacking. Friendly staff. Owner seems to know the locals. Unfortunately for me a large group had stopped in and the house was full. Decided to wait 25 minutes and was promptly served. Was even served a beer while i waited. When the sushi came it was maybe three star quality. Deep fried shrimp was cold, salmon was warm. Typical rolls are $13-18 bucks and small. Overall good and I may come back as the locals seem to be loyal to the place and the volume of business was unusually high and most likely impacted quality. read more

I was going to give them 4 star, but I changed my mind to give a 3 instead. For two reasons- 1. I think their sushi is a little overpriced for its quantity. 2. My bill was being wrongly charged when the transaction was posted on my bank account. I had legend roll and uni (sea urchin) sushi. Legend roll was delicious, but only had 8 relatively small pieces. Sea urchin was $8 for two pieces. Friends had different orders from and they liked their orders. But same issue-quantity was on the low end. In terms of tastes, their sushi was low key good. They were delicious. However, I usually assess restaurants in a combination of factors, not just food tastes. Overall, the ambience was casual and service was decent. I was just very turned down by dishonest behaviors, though I am not sure whether it's the issue of the restaurant or the waiter/waitress. read more

I could give a three star, but for the money I spent I would cut one star. I would say the food was below average compared to other Japanese authentic sushi restaurants. We ordered Unagi Don, Chirashi bowl and Toro nigri sushi. The sushi rice was a bit hot instead of room temperature, which ruined the texture and taste of the fish. The fish slices are very thin and the fatty tuna is not good enough. Please go to other Sushi Restaurant if you are a fan of Chirashi bowl (sashimi over rice). The Chirashi bowl here contains few categories and few slices, which barely covers the rice, it really disappointed us the most. The miso soup are very salty and made us feel thirsty after each sip. Please avoid if you are a sushi fan. The service and atmosphere were good though. read more

Yelpers come through Again! Found this website/restaurant on our way to visit friends in Columbus. I didn't know the area but suggested it, and the locals obliged having never heard of the place. Pretty sure they'll be back. Sake and kirin beer and a bunch of shared rolls later, we left full and happy. Good price points, as well. Legend Roll, monster roll special, Miami heat roll stood out. This is the best sushi bar in Columbus. We've moved to central Ohio from Chicago 2 years ago and are constantly looking for good restaurants. After a number of disappointing sushi experiences in Columbus we were fortunate to accidentally stumble upon Sushi.com about a year ago and have been eating there regularly ever since. The rolls are creative and tight, the fish is fresh(most important) and the sushi rice is cooked properly. The owner or manager(not sure) Ken is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to sushi supply chain, very hospitable and open to feedback. Personal favorite is the Toro Combo(nigiri, sashimi, roll) - if it's on the menu, get it. The reason we are giving 4 stars has nothing to do with the quality of food or service(excellent). It is merely an opinion that the location(strip mall) and the decor(very stark) are not appropriate for this type of restaurant. This restaurant should be on High street, beautifully and minimally designed, where their delicious food would be the highlight of the dining experience. read more

I've been here twice for carry out and both times have been great. The lunch special you can't beat-two or three rolls and it includes soup or a salad (both great) for 9.95/12.95. The roll selection for the lunch special is much better then other places IMO also. The crunchy crab roll and Cajun shrimp roll were really really good. I'll have to go down the list throughout time. My 9 y/o daughter had never had sushi before - LOVED it! Now the only issue is that this experience has set the bar so high she'll never appreciate anything else. I have been several times now since the remodel and it has always been very good! The sashimi/nigiri are not the largest pieces but good. They have some different items then what you would normally see on the sashimi/nigiri menu. The striped jack, yellowtail and snapper were very good! Great service and recommendations. read more
