Didn't expect much going into a small mall but right when I entered I was greeted by a great chef that made me feel right at home. You can already tell it's not a big operation, but the chef reallyyy puts his care into his work. I have a lot of sushi all over the world and this restaurant doesn't fall too far from any of em. I got the tuna sashimi and the nigiri combo along with the lobster roll and was extremely impressive despite the grandeur of the restaurant. This place is DELICIOUS! This is a new little sushi place. It's seriously nothing fancy...yet! It's only been open for 2 weeks and has plans to make aesthetic improvements in the next 2 months. I recommend the Firecracker Roll, Baked Lobster, Spicy Ramen, and the Ebi Special. You seriously can't go wrong with any of those as they are equally great but the firecracker roll is super yummy. The servings are huge, and the prices are very reasonable for how much food you receive. They included tons of extra sauces for me when I asked, and were very nice. I am so glad I found this small little sushi eatery. It's centrally located in the Indio area right off of the 111. While looking for a place to eat sushi we read the reviews and decided to try it! The sushi was excellent and the customer service was great! It's a small, casual but clean place to eat. We had the rainbow roll which was really big. Also had the yellow tail and salmon rolls. Okay LISTEN TO ME when I say, you only have to order 1 roll per person. The portion size is huge here and at an amazing price. Although we had a complicated order they still managed to get us what we asked for and everything was good. They don't however have a take out menu and not everything on their menu is listed on the yelp menu pictures so that could be better. They also don't have a price break down for receipts (or at least i wasn't given one) other then spending a little more time on the phone to complete my order then I would have liked (it was a complicated order) everything was great! They made sure to put sauces on side since order was to go and we had everything we needed in the bag which was super nice too. Maybe making a menu with numbers next to the rolls will help some of the confusion in ordering? Overall this was a good choice and I will go back again. read more

First time trying this place and I'm glad I made it around. Tried calling (twice) to place a phone order first but the line was busy. Parking was PACKED (w/ others waiting in their car) & was worried it'd be a long wait, but it only took 20 minutes for my 3 rolls. My mom loves spicy tuna & it's been hard to please her w/ finding a spot that she *actually* enjoys and this FINALLY met her needs. The 3 rolls were big and at a great price! I deducted a star because the cashier had no gloves on and he was handling the register (cash) and the food containers which he would open to add sauces inside them, which rn w/ Covid you want to be super extra clean. Every time we ask for more spicy mayo (keep in mind they always give us one small plastic container) the cashier would have a bit of an attitude which is noticeable.
