Mango Mochi

I'm so glad I tried this place out because it is worth going to again. It's quiet, peaceful and the ambience is just right. The lighting is also very nice-same goes for the decorations. Service was okay, I would call it satisfactory. Restrooms were sanatized, which I would also call expected. Sushi was absolutley delicous. All the ingredients mixed in your mouth-absolutley savory and the flavor is pretty unami. I think they added the right amount of sauce as well. Mochi was a little pricey, but it was a nice ending to the lunch. It was just the right amount of sweet. Would I go here again? Absolutley. Whenever I have an errand that pops up around this area-I'll have to make sure to come back to this place. It's wonderous.

If you're looking for an affordable, fresh, and delicious all you can eat sushi experience - you'll find it here. This is a small chain around St Louis but we like going to this location because it has nice staff and free parking on top of the food :) It doesn't have a ton of booths so be sure to be a little patient on the weekends! They have a very fast kitchen and will get people in and out very efficiently not feeling rushed. We always try different rolls when we come and have never been disappointed - I especially love the Maryland roll.

The food was delicious, service was fast, and the vibes were all great. Definitely recommend, as it was fairly inexpensive, and even though we didn't eat everything and had to pay for additional pieces for the all you can eat, it was still worth the price. Making sure I stop by again before I leave town.

Been here maybe around 4-5 times with my family. Every time we walk in the vibe is always pleasant, everyone is cheerful and attendant. They constantly check on you if everything is okay at the beginning then understand to give you personal space to enjoy your food and not constantly have to answer questions with a mouth full of food. They made sure to come around, pick up, refill drinks, and stay around if we had any questions. Food is also pleasant, great price for all you can eat. I usually am wary of appetizers but they have a great selection! The menu also makes sure to describe what is in each sushi roll for those who are picky and looking for something specific. The food does make you full but not heavy, and sometimes you have leftovers you can take home! There is a 50 cent charge for every sushi piece you don't finish but I haven't seen them enforce this rule that much. I am definitely looking forward to going there more in the future with family or friends!

Great tasting and great price. My buddy ate 5 rolls on the "All you can eat menu". Not sure how he did it, but he did. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they used way too much cream cheese in their rolls. Over powers the fish and other ingredients. I will be back for sure.

I love that Sushi Ai is one of the few sushi restaurants that offers AYCE menu in St Louis. The prices have gone up from $18.99 to $23.99/ person (it's been like 4 years since the $18.99) for the regular AYCE menu but I think it's still a good deal. I always love the nigiris (especially the squid and the octopus) as they have a great selection and I can order multiple times. The roll selection is also great to choose from. My favorites are the Volcano, Sapporo and Pop Up. The appetizers menu is alright, it's a nice add-on. I usually order edamame to share with people as it is pretty big then order dumplings and shumai for myself. They also have a regular menu with lots of variety. To be honest, I've been to Sushi Ai so many times, both the Clayton and Ballwin locations but somehow never written a review... I'm glad that the Ballwin location is close to my house and they've been doing an amazing job through out the pandemic!

I would call it rice ball rather than sushi... the fish is super small and very thin that couldn't even cover the rice... crab salad was pretty good. Dress is very refreshing.

My daughter and I love having lunch together here! You can't beat the lunch special and any roll you choose is delicious. The service is always great and fast.

The Taco Bell of sushi. The grocery store sushi is fresher. This was very disappointing and not worth the time

Tonight was a good night for family sushi night at Ninja…read more Our waitress was very helpful, and thorough, making sure the items we ordered had no gluten... apparently some of the eel and other fish might be marinated in sauces that might have gluten. Ninja does have gluten-free soy sauce, but you'll likely not want much soy sauce because you won't want it hiding the great flavors of Ninja's sushi. Tonight we enjoyed a variety of rolls, most chef's choice: - Kimi roll - Philly roll - Sumo roll - Salmon avocado - Dynamite (no crunch) - two... not one, but two Golden Dragon rolls... with curved slices of mango on top and a fantastic mango sauce Our waitress was intent to find a gluten free sauce for us and provided a combo sauce - half pink / half darker color (unsure the actual flavor but it was good). Before tonight, we have known that Ninja has the cook-at-your-table hibachi grill but we've only ever enjoyed their sushi. Tonight... I ventured to their hot food. I didn't have much to eat earlier in the day, so I ordered a side of shrimp fried rice and I'm very glad I did... great flavors egg and onions, and fantastic rice unto itself. Thank you, Nan

I also got the chicken and shrimp hibachi, and the rice was amazing. The service was a little slow, but overall the food was good, the prices felt fair, and it was a fun experience.

Wonderful spot for great eats, date nights, celebrations, and treat yourself dinners…read more As soon as you call or walk in, Zora at guest check in is friendly and accommodating. Manager Kaitlyn is attentive. Evelyn and James behind the bar are incredible and make epic cocktails, teas, and signature mocktails. Plus they provide great insights and recommendations on the food and beverage selections. Our favorite starter was the Japanese Pumpkin with roasted pistachio and green curry. Other guests enjoyed the Pork Belly steam bun. I highly recommend the Akami Maki and Nikkei Maki. The Akami Maki is a tasty bluefin tuna, dried cherry salsa macha, Thai chili, and Thai basil roll. The Nikkei Maki consists of mango, green papaya, avocado, salmon, crispy rice, aji verde, and ikura. The Pillow Talk was the best cocktail I have had this year! The Momento Mora and Dark Horse were also delicious.

One of my favorite places was a small standing sushi restaurant in Tokyo that always had a line out the door. I ended up going about three times during my short stay because I was genuinely afraid I'd never experience sushi that good again. Then I moved here and discovered Sado. It had always been on my list to try, and every single time we go, I'm completely blown away by the experience. Their sushi rolls are good, but the nigiri and sashimi are where they really shine. The fish practically melts in your mouth, and the way they balance the flavors is just chef's kiss. I could honestly cry over how good it is. My boyfriend and I try to come here every chance we get, and at this point, we don't want sushi anywhere else. Sado has completely ruined us for other sushi spots. If it's your first time, my recommendations are: Isaan Hamachi Sake Toro Zuke Sake Madai Garlic Pepper Kanpachi And definitely finish with the Sado Sundae! You will not be disappointed.

We went this past week for my husband's birthday, and we had a wonderful experience. We were welcomed immediately upon arrival and sat. We ordered our drinks and received them quickly and then began to review the menu and try to pick out our favorites. My husband and I always go for the edamame as well as crab rangoon because why not? We each ordered a few rolls and all the flavors were fantastic, the presentation was beautiful, and the whole experience itself was perfect. Definitely would go back to this location and highly recommend others to go as well. Order the edamame with the addition of spicy & garlic - does not disappoint. I loved the Manhattan Roll, perfect blend of flavors and slight heat. My husband really enjoyed the Alaska and Fried Philly Roll. Yesterday I ordered online for pick up at 4:55 pm and set it for pick up ASAP. The order said that…read moreit would be ready in 175 minutes (around 7:45 pm). I thought this was a mistake because that's insanely long for the 2 rolls. I went in person around 6:45 pm to ask about the order. And the waitress didn't even try to look into it and dismissed my concerns. I understand that they are busy and it was a happy hour night (Tuesday night). But all the meantime between 6:45 - 8:15 pm, I saw new groups waiting for a table, and then they got a table, ordered, and by the time I got my order 8:15pm, those groups left the restaurant. So, I don't understand how I was ordering only 2 rolls to go at 4:55pm and wasn't able to get the order for 175 minutes? I have dined in at Wasabi in Clayton before during my college days (2014 - 2018), and my expectation was that all the Wasabi would be just as good still. But, I guess it's been awhile since I've gone to a Wasabi location and looking at a lot of the latest reviews at this location, I do not think I will be back. Disclaimer too: this was my first time ordering online at this location, so if this was the norm, then I don't think it's worth the wait. I even thought about dining in to get seated last night because they definitely prioritize the people dining in, but I saw other low reviews while I was waiting and then made up my mind of not coming back. There were four waitresses and looked to be only two chefs in the back. But, I still think it was unfair that I saw people get seated, eat, then leave all during the time that I was waiting for 2 rolls. As for food: I ordered the Alaska and Mango roll for $7 each. And the rice was not great and the Alaska roll was not even worth it. I hate that I have to leave a poor review, but I think last night's ordeal was not ideal for future visits. I wish I had looked into the reviews before heading there.
