I biked to Cascais from Lisbon, covering 22 miles in a few hours, and I was pretty exhausted when I arrived. I had to wait nearly 2 hours before I could go to my hotel, and I aimlessly wandered about town just trying to kill time. I saw that it had some gluten-free options, and decided to take a look. Greenwish has a great selection of gluten-free desserts, small pies and quiches, and a wonderful menu of healthy food including awesome salads and a brilliant daily soup. So brilliant that I ate the soup of the day here twice. I got a lot of stuff to go, hauling it to Lisbon with me as I embark on a hiking trip. Man.
