Firstly the place is great, either for an hang out with your girlfriend or friends or for a more professional meal.
Localization:
The place is located near Tejo river, that provides it with a great view over the river.
For me this is crucial. Also, there is a medium-sized meal space outside, which is really well decorated for this kind of restaurant.
Food:
For this kind of price range, the quality of the food is one of the best I've seen. The fish is fairly well cut and the fish is fresh. There is also a reasonable variety of sushi kinds, ranging from the classics, to some more innovative (it is a shame they haven't butterfish nigiris...).
People:
The people serving are very sympathetic and always available to explain how the sushi experience works (thinks such as how to ask for the food, and stuff like that), which is uncommon in this kind of restaurant. They try to make the whole experience a bit personalized, which for me is a great effort.
For the medium price of this kind of meal in Lisbon, I think Sakura is great!
I'll make sure I keep visiting. read more
