Susan is a strong massage therapist that I would recommend for those not weak but enjoy a deep tissue massage.

Wow....never been turned away from a business before. I walked in with my husband to get a massage…read more They said they were too busy and to come back at 830pm. When I tried to make reservations and communicate which massage we wanted with a lady (with very limited English), a man walked out from a hidden office, saying to go to Monterey for massage because they're too busy. I still don't know what happened, the place was empty. I was very perplexed as how a business with no costumers is so busy. I definitely don't recommend this place, why bother. Maybe it's a front for something else or they don't give massages to people of color.

I'm so sad to see the low score this place is amazing! I posted it in next door because I've been…read moregoing here two years and won't go anywhere else! Jody works wonders!!! I'd just like to say how disgusting it is that all the bad reviews are because: 1. They were busy (uhhh try making an appointment duh! I always do!) 2. The smell ( the rooms smell fine but if you go on their lunch break and they just used the microwave you might smell there lunch BE REASONABLE PEOPLE they are human and have to eat too!) or 3. the ladies speaking in their own language! (If your gonna give someone a review based on nationality and language it's just wrong!) I judged based on skill and skill alone! If you want a good massage this is the place ! If you want spa treatment go to a spa! This place gives Freedom from pain! This is a diamond in the rough! I've never been so happy with a massage as I am here. I've been on an off for two years with sciatica and neck pain and Jody is uhmazing!!! The other two that work there are good too but she's definitely my favorite. I know they just reopened with covid and their prices are very reasonable... poor advertising cuz it says foot spa but FULL BODY DEEP TISSUE is TO DIE FOR!!! I seriously haven't been to another place in two years because I can't find anyone that fixes pain like this place! They do gift certificates and Christmas is around the corner and they are finally open! I'd love for them to stay open so as a community let's give them our love and stop in for the best full body massage of your life!!!

I can tell instantly when a person puts their hands on me if they have the gift of touch and Steve is the real deal. A beautiful and intimate space with many amazing plants bespeaks of a personal and inviting sanctuary for one to rest and heal. When one entrusts one's body to a healer one must be able to do just that and Steve's gifted technique has been honed over years of applied principles to the point of mastery. He is capable of any level of massage or healing: one only need to specify desired modality and pressure. Massage began with a good epsom salt foot scrub and then progressed to one of the deeper applications of pressure point massages I've ever had in my life, and I've had a few. To use this level of strength and pressure a person really must know what they're doing to effect healing and not injury, and healing is certainly the case here at Livewell massage; one of the finest boutique massage outfits on the planet, sans the boutique pricetag. I was poured a nice cup of some cherry juice at end to hydrate cause man, I was zonked! In a word - Go!

When they asked how long we wanted the massage for, I said one hour because they close at 9 pm, but they said we can do however long we want, it's up to us. We still chose the one hour since we felt bad making them stay longer, but the fact that they were so flexible is great customer service. The actual massage was incredible. The rooms are private, and my boyfriend literally fell asleep. I felt so relaxed after, and they applied the perfect amount of pressure. The prices are also unbeatable. I'd 100% recommend this place to everybody I know!

Both times I selected the "30 min foot + 30 min body combo" massage listed on the sign for $60. On the first visit, when it was time to pay, I was told I had received a Swedish massage and was charged $70, even though I did not receive a Swedish massage. I returned a second time assuming the first visit was a misunderstanding. Again, I chose the "30 min foot + 30 min body combo" massage for $60, and again at checkout I was told the total was $70, due to a $10 upcharge for "deep pressure." This upcharge was not disclosed in advance. I was only asked if I preferred soft or firmer pressure at the beginning of the massage. I answered "firmer", which is my preference and doesn't result in an upcharge anywhere I go - unless I specifically select a deep tissue massage. The unexpected price change at checkout caused sticker shock, which completely ruined the relaxation of the massage. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but as this happened twice now... I don't feel inclined to go back to try a third time, let alone try anything else on their menu. The second visit also skipped arms, shoulders, and hands, which are normally included in a massage, and there was no foot bath, which is typically standard at a foot reflexology place. While I did appreciate the private room and it seemed clean, it was tiny and I was freezing, despite a space heater being in the room. Clear, upfront pricing is important. When the advertised price changes at payment, especially more than once, it's not a good experience. I generally tip 30% at these establishments and still did so, as I don't know if the overcharge was from the employee, or employer-but I definitely won't be returning and I will look for another place that doesn't try to bait & switch on pricing.
