Between my two sons, my wife, my grandson, and myself, we have relied on Dr. Procter for a wide range of medical needs and have consistently received exceptional care. As a physician, Dr. Procter has access to many of the same medical tools, treatments, and resources as other doctors. What truly sets him apart is not the tools themselves, but the way he uses them. In today's healthcare environment, it is rare to find a physician who combines deep medical knowledge with genuine compassion, personal commitment, and an unwavering determination to help patients heal. My two sons each have unique and challenging medical conditions. Before seeing Dr. Procter, we consulted with numerous physicians and specialists without achieving meaningful results. Dr. Procter approached their cases differently. He listened carefully, thought creatively, and developed treatment plans that addressed the root causes of their issues. Thanks to his expertise and persistence, both of my sons are experiencing successful outcomes that other physicians had been unable to achieve. Dr. Procter treats patients as individuals rather than diagnoses. He takes the time to understand the whole person and is fully invested in helping his patients achieve the best possible health. His care, compassion, and dedication are qualities that have become increasingly difficult to find in modern medicine. I recommend Dr. Procter and The Well Integrative Medicine without hesitation. Our family's health and quality of life are significantly improved because of the care we receive there.

After delivering the baby, I lost feeling in my leg and despite constantly asking for help afterward, my concerns were ignored or not treated seriously. I was scared to hold my baby or even walk, but no one seemed to care. I later found out I damaged nerves in my leg while delivering. This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially since I've had other deliveries at different hospitals and expected a certain level of care. Additionally, part of the placenta was left inside my body for months. I kept complaining about unusual bleeding and pain but was dismissed similar to when I brought up the numbness in my leg. It wasn't until I demanded an ultrasound--after talking to other doctors online--that they finally took action and realized what was going on. Even then, I had to practically beg them to remove it before the Thanksgiving holiday. It felt like they were more concerned about their holiday plans than my health. I realize diagnosing health issues isnt easy and mistakes can be made. But I dont have tolerance for rude or disrespectful behavior. The straw that broke the camel's back happened the other day. After arriving for a recent appointment, I was asked to sit in the waiting area and would be checked in shortly. Another patient arrived after me and was immediately being checked in. I was confused so went to ask if I could also be checked but was quite rudely asked to wait. I've finally decided to find another doctor. I hope this review helps bring attention to the issues at this office so they can start treating all patients with the care and respect they deserve.

I especially appreciate that if you have follow up questions, Dr. Okoro will call you to respond and she does so in a timely manner. They have great COVID measures in place to keep everyone safe. One bit of feedback I have is that if they expect patients to call/text to let them know they're there, they should answer the phone. I waited a good while before someone answered the door and completed the prescreening to let me in. Outside of that, the staff's super friendly, the facility was clean and easy to find, and parking wasn't an issue.

She is down-to-earth, attentive, personable, and has taken very good care of me over the years. I have recommended her to others because I genuinely believe she is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff and overall communication has become increasingly disappointing over the past few years. I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, and I have overlooked previous issues because of how much I respect and appreciate Dr. Okoro. However, there comes a point when repeated poor communication and a lack of consideration for a patient's time can no longer be overlooked. Today was ultimately that point for me. I had a virtual appointment scheduled for 11:20 a.m. By 11:30, I had received no link or communication, so I reached out to the office myself. I was told that Dr. Okoro was running behind, which I completely understood. Doctors run behind, emergencies happen, and schedules change. My issue was not the delay--it was the lack of communication that followed. I continued waiting with no link and no proactive update from the office. By after 12:00 p.m., I still had not received anything. Had I not contacted the office myself, I have no idea how long I would have continued waiting. I was eventually contacted about changing my appointment, but at that point I chose to cancel. I have a professional schedule, meetings, responsibilities, and commitments just like everyone else. A patient's time should be respected as well. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was not an isolated incident. I have experienced similar communication and scheduling issues before, and even people I have referred to the practice have expressed similar concerns. When I first became a patient years ago, the office was smaller and the communication was excellent. I cannot speak to what has changed operationally, whether it is scheduling, staffing, or patient volume, but the difference has been noticeable. After several years of trying to overlook these issues because I genuinely love my doctor, I have finally made the difficult decision to find a new primary care physician. That is unfortunate because Dr. Okoro is truly a wonderful doctor, and leaving her care is not something I wanted to do. I would still highly recommend Dr. Okoro based on her ability, bedside manner, and the care she personally provides. However, prospective patients should be mindful that communication and scheduling consistency with the office staff have been an ongoing concern in my experience. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively because an outstanding physician deserves an office experience that reflects the same level of professionalism and care that she personally provides.
