More concerning was the way older uncle was interacting with the other employees, which I personally found disrespectful and unprofessional, at the end we are paying for the food and we are only getting mistreated. The "kabob" roll is a Pakistani street food staple perfected over eons of toil by Pakistani chefs slaving over hot stoves and grills {even though the country is only 73 years old as of this writing and was once part of the British empire's Indian colony [so technically it's a British dish then? (Another thing they stole from us!)]} ... anyway I digress. Kabob roll typically made with kabob (beef, or Lamb by our Indian cousins) but almost as popularly and arguably more often made with Chicken. The menu here has the favorites you'd expect to find at a Karachi kabob roll house. The fact that they had a garlic mayo roll got me and the better half glee with glee. And while it was a valiant effort it wasn't quite the besting the "streets" of Karachi and then came the Tikka Boti Roll and man does that thing take you back to the streets of wherever you call home where they serve the same thing. What truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Munam. A potential detractor to the experience was the true crime series playing on a TV in front of my face showing several female victims of a serial murderer being toted off in body bags. Just doesn't really go with chicken tikka. Also, there was heavy cigarette smoke coming from somewhere inside the gas station. In summary, this was every bit as bizarre an experience as you might expect from the phrase "gas station Indian meal." Just not one I care to repeat.
