I was running some errands with mom dearest and she wanted to have lunch at cafe yasmeen. We arrived around 2ish. I went with a Philly cheese steak sandwich with French fries and she went with her usual, the jalapeño cheeseburger. We had no complaints with the food. The sandwich was delicious and French fries were crispy and golden brown. There was plenty of cheese and meat in my Phila. Ma loved her cheeseburger. Cafe yasmeen has one item everyday from Monday thru Friday as a special of buy 1 get 1 free. They have it listed on the counter and u can also call to find out more info. They are also famous for their weekend buffet with traditional brunch items like Nihari, Paya, Aloo, Halwa, Naan etc. There is no waiter service. You order your food at the counter and they bring it out to you, except for weekends where u self serve from the buffet. It is packed on Saturday n Sunday mornings with issues with seating. They also have a samosa stand where u can purchase samosas made with potatoes. A pure delight. There are plenty of items u can order from the menu and this restaurant is pretty much cafe style, just like the name suggests.

Veg grilled sandwich - 8.5/10 - $11.99 - Very tasty for a veggie sandwich and i loved the presentation. Found my new favorite spot for desi snacks!! I ordered the Sev Khamni, which is a savory street food snack from Surat, in Gujarat state in India. I'm no expert and this was the first time I've eaten it but from a taste standpoint, I'd say it's at least a 4 or 5 out of 5. It was very good! I also ordered the Dahi Puri, which if I'm not mistaken is a street food from Mumbai. Wow! I loved this food. There were so many unexpected flavors and textures in this dish. It was sweet, tangy and spicy at the same time. The crispness was a surprise to me. I ordered to go because it was about to start raining. After doing some research at home, I saw that it would have been better to eat them as soon as they were made, so I will need to return on a more pleasant day and eat them there. They still tasted amazing to me after the trip home. The service was fast and friendly. They were also very helpful answering my questions. I would have ordered more but I had already ordered from another food truck as well. I will be back to enjoy some more of this amazing Indian vegetarian street food!

It almost felt like a place in South Asia, with all the freshly made food. The ambiance was simple, with decent seating. Service was quick. We tried their abject kaju shake and it was delicious. The Juice center was an obvious downgrade from the restaurant and the prices was exorbitant for the lack of quality in the items my family purchased. We got Mango Falooda, regular Falooda, spiral potato, and seasoned fries. We had the full intention of getting more things as the menu looked really interesting but the store was not well maintained and very empty. We waited quite some time on our order and the employees didn't inform us that our drinks and food were ready. The items we got did not hit the spot, both the faloodas lacked sugar & tasted plain and overly filled with ice cream and toppings so we couldn't taste the actual falooda drink. The fries and spiral potato were not particularly notable. I would skip this location and bear the wait at Agha's instead.

There are four sections of food placed at different areas in the restaurant- one is with breakfast items and vegetarian items, an eggs and pancake station, and a lunch items row. The breakfast row had orange juice, apple juice, and water, cereal, fruits, cheese, a lot of sweet items like donuts and cupcakes, which I didn't try but looks beautiful, a wok size halwa, and 4 vegetarian dishes including the channa, daal, aloo, and bhindi. The lunch row had two beef dishes which I didn't get, chicken biryani and rice which were decent, the chicken nuggets and fries, and chicken tikka, chicken malai boti, and the chicken pershawari. The egg and pancake section, the omelette is made fresh with choice of toppings. There is also some ready made sliced egg omelettes and pancake. There was also a chai and dessert area in the corner, and I quite enjoyed the chai. We were also given naan and fried puri. The staff also made a fresh, hot puri for a refill. My favorite were the chicken malai boti, the fried puri, the chai, the channa, and the halwa. The channa was very tasty. Staff was really nice and kept on coming to clear the table. I was very full at the end, and there were many things I didn't try. I did enjoy the food and overall experience, and I will visit again in the future!

tldr; tika boti roll .. eat it. So good. Very very good…read more Well ain't this a pity. My crappy photos are the only representation of the fine food served this rolling establishment. If the pictures aren't quite worth a thousand words perhaps my words can paint a better picture. The "kabob" roll is a Pakistani street food staple perfected over eons of toil by Pakistani chefs slaving over hot stoves and grills {even though the country is only 73 years old as of this writing and was once part of the British empire's Indian colony [so technically it's a British dish then? (Another thing they stole from us!)]} ... anyway I digress. Kabob roll typically made with kabob (beef, or Lamb by our Indian cousins) but almost as popularly and arguably more often made with Chicken. The menu here has the favorites you'd expect to find at a Karachi kabob roll house. The fact that they had a garlic mayo roll got me and the better half glee with glee. And while it was a valiant effort it wasn't quite the besting the "streets" of Karachi and then came the Tikka Boti Roll and man does that thing take you back to the streets of wherever you call home where they serve the same thing. It's good. It's damn good. You will eat it. You will also need to go early enough so they don't run out. I have no closing statement. Just go eat :)
