Horrible food and service, not on time, very messy food, never go there again , cold and soggy food,

I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm glad I did. That said, I can see why some people were less than impressed. The storefront is small, and there's not much space to dine in. When we came by to pick up dinner, only the owner was on site. He mentioned something about the girl who was supposed to be working calling in sick. That's better than having her come in and cough/sneeze all over my food, I guess. We ordered the chicken kabobs, which were absolutely delicious. They were served with salad and rice, and were the perfect portion-- filling but not too much. Service took a long time, but with just one person trying to prepare three families worth of orders, that's understandable. From what I understand, this location opened not too long ago, and they're still working out some of the kinks. I'll swing by again in a couple of months and see if they've managed to figure it out. read more

As far as hole in the wall restaurants go, this is the hidden gem you've been looking for if you want top notch food from the Middle East without having to fly to another continent. It's not Americanized in any fashion and I mean that in the best way possible. The flavors are amazing with a great combination of spices to dazzle your taste buds. All the spices are hand ground in-house using traditional methods. They also make their own yogurt, sauces, and tea blends such as their wonderfully pink fantastic tea. The authenticity can't be surpassed and is well worth the unique experience and reasonable wait for a fresh, hot meal. This place is about making stellar food and feeding the community with old family recipes rather than trying to impress customers through cliché decor, trendy avocado toast, or Chick-fil-A pseudo-smiles. They're often busy catering for the local mosque or doing large pick-up orders so sometimes the menu is limited but everything I've tried so far is fantastic. The majority of people that eat here are immigrants or the children of immigrants which means you know the food is authentic. The food is halal so meat quality is always superior. Aside from doing lots of catering, they only usually have one person on staff so service is not what you might expect from a typical restaurant, however this is no typical restaurant. The experience is like going to the house of your Arab aunt or uncle, who is always cooking, and having them whip something together for you. Portions are a great size for the cost and if you're not an ambiance snob, you're in for a real treat. read more

I'm an inner looper, but I was here for a staff lunch earlier this month celebrating the Persian New Year. And, the following was prepared for us: biryani (goat or beef, I'm guessing), chana saag, chicken kebabs, and of course, naan. The most pleasing part of the meal was the ambiance. I felt as if I were in a rustic cabin in some remote part of the country and being served my favorite kind of food. That, itself, was a winner. The service was great too. I'm a picky eater, but I love Indian/Pakistani food, so I was pleased with how authentic everything smelled, tasted, and reminded me of home. Well, maybe not tasted. I found the food to be spicier than anticipated and couldn't douse it with enough raita to make it palatable. I would, however, recommend this place for those wanting authentic Indian/Pakistani food outside the loop. I'll only return if necessary - - it's quite far from home. read more

Amazing chicken kebabs !! Accidentally ordered the chicken kebab rolls instead of the chicken kebabs grilled skewers. Absolutely delicious!! I ordered it to go and was pleasantly surprised! So this place has moved. it used to be inside a grocery store on beechnut but now its on hwy 6 and westpark drive/tollway road. its ON hwy 6 on the feeder road. i think its a terrible location, people cannot see it from the highway. its a huge place but tucked away. The food here is incredible. The beef/chicken kabobs are so succulent and delicious! my mouth is watering writing this review. DEFINITELY a houston MUST eat place if you love kabobs. I'm giving it 2 star because the homie was judging me based on trying to order a chicken burger for iftar... because I happen to be brown skinned as well.. He proceeded to be like.. oh you're burger family. You don't eat other desi food? Ended up buying a chicken kabob thanks to him constantly pressuring me to buy that instead of a damn burger. Don't do that. Learn to speak to your customers homie. Get your head outta your ass. This isn't back home. Kabob wasn't bad though. Never coming back lol. This place is great! A hidden gem under the bridge by west park tollway and 6. Me and my friend came here kind of randomly, but we both love Indian food so we decided to try it out. We had the chicken kabobs, chicken briyani and the butter chicken. We also had the butter naan and they were nice enough to make us garlic naan, even though it wasn't even on their menu! Now that's what I call service. Everything was delicious and the portions were big and very reasonably priced, all under $10 each. The staff was very friendly and gave us advice on what to eat as well as checking on us regularly. All in all I had a great experience and would not hesitate coming back. The only "negative" thing I have to say (merely a detail) is that it was freezing in the restaurant (possibly because it was like 40 outside) so we had to keep our jackets on the whole time, but don't let that stop you from trying this place out, bring a sweater if you have to, it'll be well worth it! read more

It was my second time here. I had gone here the first time and got sheesh kebab for lunch. Had difficulty finding the place. After I paid I requested the lady to bring out my take out to the car since my back does not let me sit on a low surface. She gladly obliged. Today for lunch I called in a chicken biryani and a chicken sheesh kebab. When I got there I called and the lady brought the food out. This is the best customer service I have experienced. I was in Houston to attend an Indian style family wedding and did not get a chance to venture out much, but I was able to sneak in here on an off day. It was obviously the first time for me at this restaurant. They have a wonderful, wide spaced location, airy, with a great owner and a few lousy staff. The service is slow but the food is absolutely fabulous. I even got some kababs packed for myself on my way back to DC!....highly recommended I will VERY strongly recommend that you try their kababs, lahori choley and naan combo.! I hadnt eaten anything of this magnitude in a while, the taste still lingers in my mouth when I think about it. Perfectly grilled kababs, fresh pipping hot naan, and spicy choley for gravy with mango lassi to boot..what else....please tell me what else does a man need?? On my next visit to Houston, I will try and have a meal more than once here. read more

We as a family went to their brunch buffet. Overall the experience was not great, I would definitely not go there again. - Their chicken is not hand slaughtered, we should have asked earlier but forgot and found out after we paid for it. - Their website says the buffet is 9.99 but its actually 10.99 - Their credit/debit card machine wasn't working so we had to go to an atm to get cash. - Their "American style breakfast" consisted of few mini pancakes and one omelette (no exaggeration) on the buffet table - Their "freshly squeezed orange juice" was a cantaloupe based drink - On a Sunday morning there were only two small families there eating. - Definitely not worth the money read more

Traditional Pakistani brunch buffet with addition of omelette, pan cakes and fresh orange juice .. With the current price it's defiantly the best weekend buffet in town. read more

I'm disappointed that catering orders for small groups (20 people) that are supposed to be ready at a particular time are late. Time is of the essence during Ramadan Iftaar. The order was not ready until 45 minutes after the quoted time. The order was placed several days in advance. The beef kabobs were dry however the chicken biryani was excellent. Had my daughter's Aqeeqa there, the guy is very very friendly & he helped me with getting on-demand meat for the event. Best price around town since I shopped around quite a lot before I made the decision for the event & venue, the owner Syed Aamir is very flexible with schedule & space. He had extra staff present for the event, everyone in the staff was friendly. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED A+++++ (The food was really good too) Serves zabiha halal only, good parking space. I come to this place regularly for Lahori Chole (spicy chick pea or garbanzo curry) and Chicken Kebabs (mild and juicy). You can compliment you curry with a paratha which is super delicious (don't count calories). The biryani and raita here are pretty decent too. Please ask for his spicy chutney with the kebabs! The food here is on point but the location/ambience needs more work, so I would give this place a 4! I would recommend Lahori Chole and chicken kebabs!! read more

My family and I recently moved to the area and were told to visit this restaurant for the best chicken tikka. My mouth was watering for it and I couldn't wait. When we arrived the parking lot looked full but the restaurant was empty. This was around 7:30 pm so it was a busy dinner time. We got menus and looked them over. My husband went to the counter to order and what do you know, they were out of chicken tikka. Sad face. We ordered chicken boti and goat karahi. We also ordered nuggets for the kids. The food took a really long time to get to us, probably more than 30 minutes. Our kids got impatient and we were starting to feel the same way. The food had really good flavor and we enjoyed it a lot. The prices are good. Hopefully the wait time is not always like this. We will try it again, maybe order to go next time. We are interested to try their weekend breakfast also. read more

Very bad experience , no matter how the food is , when your trying to get food for your whole family , making everyone wait that long is not right . Two people literally running the whole restaurant from table to front desk to phone to making roti to preparing food , serving food , drinks , utensils . Everything at busy evening hours on Sunday . Visited this place first time. Food was very good. Its authentic Pakistani food that tastes excellent. Only complain is the cleanliness. The whole time we were there, there was a fly around us! Also, their silverware was nasty with marks from old unwashed residue. Yikes! I suggest you go for all disposables. Also, the direction is super confusing to this place. This location is pretty awkward, you pass up the Chase bank and turn in the next section. The service is 4/5. The food came out a decent timing, the owner checked up on us often. One thing that kind of tick me off was when I asked if there was anything not too spicy and she was like "then you no eat here". It just sounded rude and uninviting. The food is 3/5. Not the best, maybe because I just not into Indian food. I had the chicken kahab, my little cousin had the chicken tender. They looked freshly made. Price is a 3/5, the menu said tha naan was $0.99, but she changed me $1, no biggie you know? She didn't tell us the price of the water either, ($1/bottle). Wow, I can not say enough about this place. This owner has won the heart of hundreds of people. We had him cater for a funeral, and over 400 people showed up. More people showed up last minute, and this gentlemen made extra arrangements for food- and stayed throughout the whole event to make sure we didn't run out. Ive lived in Houston for the last 20 years and have never received such exceptional service from a Pakistani restaurant before. Not the mention, the food was AMAZING. Everyone left and right had been asking us where we got our food made from. Seriously, now my go-to person for all huge events. Please please choose this restaurant for any of your events, his food is exceptional!!!!!! I've never seen food cooked in bulk be so tasty.
