    Great Sandwiches
    Rick A.

Well my brother took me out for lunch today to Kings B-B-Q here in sugar Land. We ate simple today, just a great tasting, sliced sandwich. They have a great menu with many, many sides to choose from. In the past I had a great stuffed baked potato. I will be back Thanks Rick A

Stopped by on a whim even though it was pouring down that afternoon, and I was not disappointed. Had the brisket and jalapeno sausage with mac-n-cheese and green beans. I felt like I had drive 100 miles into the country and sat down for a nice, home-cooked meal. I will be stopping by more often since they're down the road from home, so I hope you guys do as well.

This is by far one of the best bbq places I have been too. The staff is friendly and berry accommodating. Long story short.......I have nothing but good things to say. The food is savory. The sauce .... Amazing. All the food is succulent and well seasoned. Don't stop being awesome !!!!!!

Best tasting and cheapest BBQ in the Sugar Land area. Employees were very friendly and helpful too. We had pork ribs, sliced brisket, sliced turkey, creamed corn, twice baked potato, and fried okras. The meats were moist and smoky. Best tasting BBQ sauce we ever had. All the side were fresh and flavorful. Prices were the lowest in the area. Definitely will return to try non BBQ items.

Unable to eat my sandwich. Too much gristle! Fries were limp. Only liked the dessert.

The BBQ and baked potato is DELICIOUS, however, everything that has cheese is not good. The cheese doesn't taste like cheese.

I get it - it's right after the holidays so staffing could be short. The server we had wasn't exactly enthusiastic, just did the bare minimum. Dishes piled up and we weren't asked about refills. You'd figure because there was only 1 group that the service would be attentive, but nope! The food that we ordered from the kitchen were all super fresh and delicious. My favorites were the bulgogi gimbap, eggroll (tiny rolled egg omelette), and chicken wings! They come out super hot - loved them all. The hot buffet bar was not filled at all, some were even just empty. I found it disappointing that we didn't get to try a lot of their items. The hot buffet bar was really scarce, I mean, just fried dumplings and fries but they were refilled really slow and some never had refills. The boba bar was empty and never filled. The DIY ramen station was closed off. I tipped only because I felt like I had to, but the service was abysmal. I would come back but maybe for lunch instead of dinner. Hopefully service improves.

When the food came out I guess the staff misheard my friend order because a pulled pork sandwich came out instead of the baked potato. The staff quickly fixed this and brought out the correct order. First glance everything looks great. They gave a lot of meat which is a plus! The cream corn was very tasty and I def would order again. I wish they have side condiments bar as I would liked more pickles, onions and BBQ sauce. Other than that I had a great experience here and would dine here again when I'm in the area

Things have changed at Brisket House over the last few years, so here's a new review…read more.. I stopped in last week and ordered a sausage sandwich. Their sausage used to be decent. It's more Eckrich-like today. It used to be in a Czech/German Texas hill country style. Not anymore. It's hot garbage. Pass on the sausage. Let's try again today. This time I ordered the brisket and pork ribs. They used to be famous for their beef ribs. They don't serve them anymore. It's a shame. You can't fault them on this. They probably had trouble sourcing the beef ribs for a price that wasn't outrageous. It's a tough business. So, I order a 1/2 lbs of pork ribs and a 1/4 lbs of brisket. The brisket was out of this world amazing! Of course, they're named "The Brisket House". Pork ribs were perfect. Sauce very good as well. The girl at the counter was rude and obnoxious. They used to have nice people working there. It's hard to find good help these days.

We often visit on Sundays because my husband loves the complimentary Blue Bell ice cream. The servers always greet us with the brightest smiles when offering Sunday ice cream and fresh, hot bread. There is ample seating, including comfortable booths. When you arrive, you order in line, pay at the counter, and then choose your seating. They also have a private room in the back that's available for events. They've graciously allowed us to use the space annually to host the Fort Bend Junior Service League informational meeting. The room is even equipped with a TV for presentations, which is incredibly helpful. I especially enjoy the music they play on Sundays -- it creates such a feel-good atmosphere. What's not to love about BBQ? My go-to menu item is the ribs meal, though I occasionally opt for a combo plate. My favorite sides are the potato salad and green beans. My husband is a fan of the pinto beans and can't get enough of their fresh, fluffy bread. We visit about once a month for lunch or dinner -- and it never disappoints.

I'll admit that the dine-in experience might not have encountered the hiccups we ran into for takeout so we should give leeway for that. The restaurant has a casual vibe to it and the staff is energetic and friendly. We ordered a 3 meat plate with brisket, baby back ribs, and mild sausage. For the sides, we had mac n cheese and coleslaw. We also ordered a peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. While waiting for our order, we were offered drinks and their dangerously yeasty dinner rolls. Here's our verdict on the food. Brisket - the slices from the point were nice and tender but the slices from the flat were a little dry. Could use a little more seasoning. The people who got the flat raged this brisket lower than the other 2 places and the people who got the point rated it 2nd place. Baby back ribs - these were good Sausage - wasn't my favorite since it had the consistency of a hot dog and not a lot of flavor other than salt Mac n cheese - very unforgettable and bland Coleslaw - too sweet Peach cobbler - good but my sister thought there was too much crust Overall, it's an ok BBQ place with some hits and misses and good for a casual night out with the family.
