20/10 when it comes to food and service! I recommend trying the chicken shawarma arabi, chicken skewers, and beef skewers. Eat in your car when it's FRESH off the skewer.

Mixed grill and chicken shawarma packed up to the right

Ordered the mixed grill, a chicken shawarma and hummus(not pictured last min order) Grilled meats were well cooked, all 3 meats juicy but lightly to hardly seasoned yet flavor was fresh and delicious especially paired with their hummus which is served cold. Hummus has a strong garlic aftertaste but I love garlic. Shawarma was underwhelming, will likely order something different next time. Call to place your order in advance, they were busy on a Saturday afternoon so it was a long wait ordering in person.

Best Shawarma i've had! My friend recommended this place and every protein has been great - you also can't beat the portions and price. It's a bit unconventional that the parking lot is a literal gas station, where some of the sides don't have a pump - indicating it's a spot. There are a few tables next to the food truck and the gas station entrance. The crew works fast and are kind. Definitely underrated and deserves more spotlight! All the sauces are great and every dish is seasoned to perfection.

went to @almankalgrill recently, and enjoyed it alot. this.is a food truck in a gas station parking lot, with a few seating options. but the food here is phenomenal. we ordered the Kabob, Chicken, and Beef Skewers, Beef Burger and Chicken Shawarma Arabi. the Shawarma and burger were good, but the highlight are the skewers. cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. they come with bread and multiple dipping sauces. definitely a spot I would be coming back to.

Lamb no fat just lamb this time. Sooooo delicious and bursting with flavor
    Oge O.

The chicken shawarma was so fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS. The lamb pieces were full of flavor, I got medium rare with fat but next time I'll opt to not get the one with fat bcz I actually got it based on a review I read and although delicious, I can't stomach the idea of eating pieces of fat lol like no... it was a waste bxz I ended up taking the fat off the meat anyway it was still so moist delicious and juicy without it. Absolutely delicious, I came back two days later for more lol will add pics.

This was my third time I have given this location a try and this time was so bad I had to write about it. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma and the entire sandwich tasted like fish of all things! I wouldn't be surprised if today being a Friday is their Fish and rice day. So to me this means they have no problem throwing together a "chicken " shawarma sandwich using rice from the fish. How else could the whole sandwich taste infused with it. I paid over 15 dollars to have my stomach turned. Three strikes and you're out Fadi's in Sugar Land. I will NEVER eat there again!!!

Had the Gyro platter where I subbed a side Greek salad ($2.50 up charge) for the standard seasoned fries. The lettuce was crisp with wonderful pepper sprinkled on top of the tomatoes & the vinegarette dressing was so tasty with just the right amount on the salad. The gyro had really great flavor. The meat was tender & very well seasoned. The pita was especially yummy also with the tomatoes, onions & taziki sauce. It was just a darn good gyro. Definitely one of the top ones I've had in the area. The place is small, located in a strip mall, but was fine to dine-in. They also have outdoor table seating. The gentleman who took our order was super friendly. I presume there are lots of regular customers because as soon as we walked in he said, hey I don't recognize you, is this your first time in? I am very much a creature of habit and usually order and stick to the same thing, but I have decided to make it a point to expand my choices on future visits to return here with a well rounded update review. Until then, I find that the owner(s) is/are great and always welcoming and make sure their patrons are happy and satisfied. It's a small shop with ample seating and the food is available for take out as well. I recently discovered how my expectations have increased due to Kabob Shack's wonderful food as they now set the bar for any other gyros I've ordered from other establishments and have found many don't measure up. Most recently I tried their competition in the same center and was so disappointed with what I ordered, that I made my way back to KS that same week to make up for it. If you simply want a great tasting gyro wrap with tons of flavor you can't go wrong with their lamb/beef gyro wrap (my favorite!) The meat is always so flavorful, the sauce just the right amount of garlic, and the pita is sooo soft and fresh. My mouth is watering as I write this, but be warned, the spicy is very spicy, at least for me. If you are not a fan of spicy you can request no spice without concern of losing flavor as it is every bit as savory with or without spice. KS does not skimp on anything. The hummus is also wonderful and I usually order it to share as it can be a great deal of food otherwise. I like that there is emphasis on the fresh without emphasis, you just taste it in every bite from the protein to the pitas. I believe this is what makes Kabob Shack stand out for me and sets the bar for other restaurants of the same to live up to in general. I highly recommend! Try it out.

When we arrived on a Tuesday evening, it was empty other than maybe one other family. When we entered we were told to pick a seat and then given the menus. The second I saw the menu it seemed a bit expensive- I was looking at the vegetarian plate where you can pick 5 which was for $25 I think- I got falafels, tazeki, hummus, another spread, pickled turnips. They didn't have many other options that were appetizing- I'm not into the eggplant or okra. While waiting for the food the waitresses were sitting on their phones chatting laughing, I thought it was unprofessional, that's not what you want to see when you go to a nice place. We were given salad- the salad already had dressing on it which was spicy! Me and my friend could not figure out what it is - it was tangy spicy I think from garlic more chemically tasting rather than Cheyenne spicy. A bit too spicy for both of us. I would have wished they put the dressing on the side so we can add on our own. The food arrived and was given pita bread as well which was nice. The food was not flavorful, the hummus tasted Bland, falafels were actually pretty good but only were given . The pita bread I was hoping was gonna be fluffy but this was so thin and chewy didnt like it. Everything wasn't to my liking or lacking something except the falafels which I only had two of. I think the falafel wrap might have been a better option but due to the price I won't be back.

ORDERED VEGAN GYRITO AND GOT LAMB!!! #DISGUSTED…read more I ordered on DoorDash so I can't speak on the ambiance. However, I got y'all on the food and service. I got to be real with y'all if they hadn't messed up my order I would've given them a 4 star rating. Shall we???... I ordered a Gyrito (Burrito) with [Half Turmeric Rice and Half Spicy Rice, Avocado Hummus $2+, Falafel, Tzatziki, Red Hot Sauce, Garlic Alioli, Pickled Onion, Jalapeños, Chickpeas, Black Olives, Lettuce, Onion, Cucumber and Bell Peppers] from Gyro Republic in Sugarland @9:17pm for a total of $20.50 including service fee and tax. I received my meal at 10:03pm because the DoorDash driver picked up another order on the way to me (ANNOYING BTW) but not the worse part. I had my girlfriend go meet the driver and tip him in cash, although he didn't follow my instructions; to contact me upon arrival to meet in lobby. When she got down there he was trying to take a picture to leave the food at the front desk. Anyways, she comes upstairs with a bag that looked different than the bag that was taken upon pickup. Brushed it off, checked out the bag and food, everything seemed fine. Off initial looks the gyrito was HUUUGGGEEEE! I was so excited to dig in. I love Mediterranean food I've been hooked since moving to CA years back. I love to feed my girlfriend so I gave her the first bite, she's chewing it.. then, I go ahead and take my bite. BOOOM, it's really saucy (*IM A SAUCE GIRL *), the flavors are flavoring, like they should....then, I taste something that immediately had my radar go off and I spit everything out. ITS LAMB!!! I'm like this is meat. I go to check the rest of the gyrito; there's indeed meat throughout the entire burrito. I call the restaurant told them the issue and y'all....they had the nerve to tell me they ran out of falafel for the night and that's why LAMB was put into it. WTFFFFF???!!! Why not just add more chickpeas since that's what falafel is made of???? Make it make sense. The problem is my girlfriend and I started to feel queasy because we've been doing a fast and parasite cleanse so our intake of meat has been extremely LOW for the last month. So I was HOT! Overall, I'm disappointed in the carelessness!!!
