I always wanted to try them When i first heard about Chai wala, and today I made a trip to try their chai. They were closed but hey the guy still offered me Chai. He took his time to make the best out of and yes it was soo good. 30 mins drive from me but it was worth driving their. I simply love it.

I love how Houston has a chai truck. It's a unique concept, definitely something I have not seen in Houston. I hope this truck stays around for a long time. *crosses fingers* My bf and I ordered an iced chai and the kashmiri chai. I loved how everything was made on the spot. But I can also see this being problematic when there's a long line. At least you know your tea will be freshly made. The iced chai wasn't too sweet and tasted very refreshing, especially during a hot evening. I never had kashmiri chai before but my gawed, It was amazing! It kind of had a floral taste to it, and the spices were not overpowering. I also liked that it was lightly sweet. I definitely will come again. ***Warning! Since the teas are freshly made, the hot teas can be burning hot to hold.

Just had the bun kabab with egg and it has to be the best in all of USA. As close as Pakistani bun kabab you can get. The other favorite items amongst the customers were the chai and Kashmiri chai. Everyone seemed to be ordering it. This place is a must try for Pakistani style fast food.

I love their Pink tea. I was skeptical to try, but glad that I tried. It was great and authentic. Best place to visit on a rainy day , if you are a chai lover..

This is one popping place In Missouri City / Sugarland. How did I not know this place existed…read more One thing I love about MoCity is all the gems that are just buried unsuspecting that will blow your mind. There is no billboard or web article acclaim - but when you step inside you are transported to warmth and love on 100. This place is no exception. Such a cozy feel, the baristas are so kind and accommodating, actually smiling - can you imagine that?! They genuinely take interest in you. Here is the set up. There are so many chairs and tables, it feels like you're in a massive well decorated living room. Ample space to spread out and work or study or read scripture. Speaking of reading scripture - if God made coffee on Day 6 it was because the two new humans made him exhausted. That's why he needed rest on Day 7 teeheehee. I had a matcha latte. It was wayyyy to sweet for me. Considering I do not have a single sweet tooth in my mouth and usually drink my matcha plain. They were kinda and gave me a coffee on the house with free refills. There are alot of pastries, I heard there were tacos, I will try those next time. Will I be back?... of course. This place was popping by 9 and I see why. They are doing something RIGHT!

I got there right at Saturday opening & a customer was already there studying/working. The brick wall and forest wall mural with indoor dim lighting gave a cool and chill cafe vibe. The employee was welcoming and friendly while I made my final order decision. I got the matcha latte with oat milk (vanilla syrup is used) & jalapeño sausage & cheese kolache. My friend got a Texas latte & sausage breakfast sandwich. My friend said the latte was energizing & the sandwich was perfectly filling. My matcha latte was little too sweet and creamy for me so I'll probably just need to make little adjustments for my preference next time like almond milk and less syrup. The kolache was a very good serving size and only wish I had a stronger jalapeño taste. We definitely need to come back for another visit soon!

I believe the business also had recognition from the Houston Chronicle as top 15 boba shops. I stopped in during a more relaxed time where the business was more relaxed and midday weekend. I was a bit unsure of what to get but asked the staff what would be a good recommendation on the menu. I did go with their special Salted Vietnamese coffee and mango green tea with boba. The boba is chewy and something I noticed after taking a sip. I found it important the boba is cooked properly so it is not too soft and too hard. The tea was refreshing too and you have your option of either black or green tea. The special salted Vietnamese coffee was a surprise for me because I would typically pick the traditional way from other businesses that offer it. Still strong in flavor but a different taste for me. Overall I think it's a good visit. Fresh boba is in a familiar spot where I buy my alternate coffee shop opposed from the well known brand. The shop is nice and does have various seatings by the wall and even couches. Nothing wrong for critique but if you do pick the salted Vietnamese coffee I suggest you mix it well because of the salty and bitter profile cream on top in combination with the prominent coffee base. It is good but maybe not for everyone if you are used to the traditional simplicity of coffee and condensed milk. A nice option away from the concentrated Chinatown offerings.

It was my first visit--I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, an iced banana bread latte, and a chocolate croissant (note: the full kitchen opens an hour after the shop). Both drinks were fantastic--well balanced, and the banana bread latte really tasted like its namesake without being overly sweet. The croissant was average, though I appreciated the smaller size compared to the oversized ones you usually see. The barista was knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers, which made the experience stand out. One downside: the Wi-Fi was slow, even when it wasn't busy, so I ended up using my phone hotspot. I'd come back to try the matcha and explore more of the food menu.

I got the iced rose matcha latte and egg & cheese croissant sandwich. I loved the floral taste balanced perfectly with fresh matcha. The sandwich was delicious and I'm usually not a sauce fan but it was delicious. I definitely want to try their Wah burger next time.

The staff were incredibly kind, the food came out quickly, and the place was busy, yet I still did not fully enjoy my overall experience. My mom ordered the Butter Chicken Rice Bowl, while my sister and I shared two Samosa Chaats, a four piece Punjabi Veg Samosa order, and a Mango Hibiscus Mocktail. When everything arrived, we quickly realized we had ordered far too much food for three people. The Samosa Chaats were solid and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and they seem like something that would really hit the spot late at night. Because we ordered two of them, the extra samosas ended up feeling unnecessary. While the butter chicken rice bowl was decent, we were not warned that it was spicy, which caught us off guard since butter chicken is usually mild. My mom struggled with the heat, which took away from her enjoyment. I was also not told that the mango hibiscus mocktail was carbonated. Although it tasted fine and slightly artificial, I personally dislike carbonation and could not finish more than a sip. Overall, this café has a fun concept, friendly service, and quick turnaround on food, but the dishes themselves were hit or miss, and the experience did not justify such a long drive. If you live nearby and want a casual late night bite, it might be worth checking out, but I would not go out of my way to return.

The pistachio cloud is much more nuttier, you can taste more of that coconut, while still retaining a strong jasmine flavor. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. You can't read the menu until you get to the counter. Then you are in the "ummmm" and question mode. The payment screen asks for a tip. Why? It's getting out of hand. I'm waiting for grocery stores to start asking for tips for bagging your items.

The iced latte didn't have the flavor I asked for, and the iced shaken espresso wasn't very good either. I ended up wishing I had ordered a hot coffee instead, which I'll definitely try next time.
