Whoever said this is just frozen paratas- is completely wrong! With a simple and elegant menu I went with their two well known items: beef parata and chicken parata. Each parata was crispy, flaky and buttery. It was literally perfect. In fact, indo-paki restaurants need to learn how to make paratas from these guys! Out of the two items, my favorite had to be the chicken. It had a lot of flavor. Next time, I might ask for more sauce on the side- but it was perfect this way too. The beef one was interesting. It had a crunch to it because of the crispy onions which is a good pairing. The sauce used was tangy and I didn't care much for it, but it was still a great roll. Customer service was wonderful too! I had to wait for a while (but it was worth it, because the food was was hot!), so the guy behind the counter offered me a free drink. You rarely see that. He was extremely polite. Parking is a little tricky here, but it's worth it!

Delicious rolls! My boyfriend & I came by for the first time yesterday and tried both the beef & chicken phattie rolls. I was blown away by how good both of these were. If I had to choose a favorite roll, it would be the beef phattie. It comes "topped with pickled & fried onions, garlic mayo, and BBQ chutney rolled up in a flakey, buttery paratha." The paratha was so soft & fresh with the perfect amount of crispness. It reminded us of kathi rolls in Kolkata but with a completely different flavor profile! The beef itself was extra flavorful and tender. I am ready to go back right now just writing this review lol. We were initially confused because Rollin Phatties is listed on both Yelp & Google as opening at noon, but they were still getting ready when we placed our order around 12:25 PM. We didn't receive our order until ~ 1 PM. While it was a fairly long wait, the guys working here were very friendly and apologetic about the time. They gave us a free chicken phattie roll, which in our opinion more than made up for the extra wait time. For now, I would recommend coming by for a later lunch than we did in case they are still figuring out the timing. I can't wait to go have another beef phattie roll soon!

There's no way to describe the deliciousness that stems from this truck. I ordered the chicken quesadilla First the paratha yum yummm it's so flaky and buttery at the same time literally melts in your mouth. The quesadilla I ordered had chicken in it which was well flavored and i topped it off with some of there sauce. The quesadilla was also very balanced on the cheese. The ratio of chicken and cheese was was equipped here. I sent a text to the number to order ahead which id def recommend to anyone given the parking area is so limited and the lines are usually long. But nevertheless this is a solid 10/10 for me and I food spots in Houston.

I'm so happy they have a resident spot in Post Market Houston food hall! Definitely a must try! They put a Pakistani spin to tacos and quesadillas and it was delicious!

Woahhhh Indian-paki street food! So damn good! Got both the chicken and beef phattie rolls. Love the crispy, chew paratha bread! The chicken was saucy and tender! Loved it! Beef was okay! Just too chewy and dry! Very enjoyable meal! Love new flavors in my mouth haha

Finally got to try Rollin Phatties today! We ordered one beef and one chicken phattie roll. Both were so flavorful! The meat was tender and the pickled onions were a nice touch. It is essentially a chicken/beef bihari kabab roll. Out of the two, we liked the chicken more! Now why have I given three stars? The portion size is pretty small for what you pay. One roll isn't nearly enough to fill you up - it's more like a snack. For a roll this small and at $7-8 a pop, it's got to be reallyyy amazing. In my opinion it's just not worth it when you could go elsewhere and get a filling meal for the same price.

Roll in' phatties is a cute little food truck! Their menu is pretty small, but the food they do have is good. They specialize in "phatties" which are essentially buttery puff pastry circles (almost like tortillas but called parathas) rolled up with different fillings. I tried both savory phatties, the chicken and the beef, and the sweet Nutella phattie. Both savory ones came with pickled and fried onions, cilantro and garlic mayo. The chicken also came with phat sauce (tasted like spicy mayo), and the beef came with bbq chutney. I personally liked the chicken better as I feel the beef one was a little dry and kind of gamey tasting. I think they would both benefit from having the meat cut up a little more (as big chunks would fall out and it was hard to eat) and adding a fresh element like some lettuce/spinach because it was a pretty heavy dish with the fried onions, mayo, meats, and really buttery pastry. All in all, the savory ones tasted better than expected. The Nutella phattie had the same buttery pastry outside and was filled with Nutella spread and crushed Ferraro rocher (chocolate hazelnut) candy. It was an interesting treat and reminded me a little of a chocolate croissant, but I liked the savory ones the best.

I really really really wanted to like this truck. The food smelled so delicious but the taste did not match. The Masala fries were interesting but the consistency was off. Some fried nicely while others were a bit stale. We ordered a Chicken Phattie and a Beef Rice Plate. They were out of cilantro so that was a bummer. The Paratha was the best part of the dish. The meats, though...both the chicken and the beef had a pasty, pate texture. It completely killed the dish. I thought the flavors were there but couldn't get past the meat texture. Then I thought maybe it was just an off night, but saw another reviewer write about the gritty texture of the meats so maybe not.

New food truck spot that SLAPS! I had both the beef and chicken phatties, and i must say it was completely worth the trip! The chicken was my favorite, it was juicy, tender and full of flavor! The ingredients they put gave it a crispy crunch and their sauce was phenomenal! The portion size is also worth the $7-8 price they have as well. Took a peak inside the truck and they are very high on safety and sanitation with employees wearing gloves and masks at ALL times which gives a customer peace at mind during these times! They just added rice option, i tried a bit and it did not miss! Rollin' Phatties has my DILLA! Highly recommend coming by and trying this place out! You will not regret!

So I have been to this place a couple of times now. They have a limited selection on their menu. I have only had their chicken phattie roll and it is good. They seem to be using the pre-made frozen wrap that you find readily available at any desi grocery stores. But their chicken skewers that go inside the rolls taste great!

My friend knows one of the owners so we visited together. I doubt I would've found out about this otherwise, but I'm so glad I did because I LOVE paratha. Like, put anything in a paratha and I'll eat it. Or even just on its own. We both ordered the chicken phattie and they took quite a while to come out (like 20+ min?). The staff seemed rather overwhelmed. One guy preparing our food wasn't wearing his mask (it was hanging around his chin) so I asked him nicely if he'd put it on properly. He kinda rolled his eyes and scoffed at me, then pulled his mask up but not covering his nose still. I mean...dude you're literally breathing on our food while preparing it, not to mention there's not much ventilation in that little food truck you're all crammed into. Hilariously, the next time she went back without me, the owner was there. That same employee was 100% masked and much friendlier/nicer. Doesn't matter who you are, I guess everyone is on their best behavior when the boss is around lol. When our food was ready, I was disappointed to see that the paratha was cold. It's baffling because they had seemingly JUST finished making it before delivering it into my hands. I'm aware that they buy ready made frozen paratha, which they don't try to hide. Maybe they just have them sitting out in a pile instead of frying them upon order? Regardless, the chicken and all the spices/sauces exploded with flavor and I would happily eat this again. A few shower thoughts I had later that night - why do they have that cartoon of James harden wearing his rockets jersey on the truck? Does he know about this? Did he endorse the food? What's gonna happen now that his petty ass is leaving Houston? Also what exactly is a phattie? Their neon sign says "shawty got a phattie" and I'm thinking there's some innuendo related to ass here but I don't fully understand.

First time trying this food truck, and loved the beef phattie roll! The fusion of different flavors was really unique! Also the branding is on point LOL..Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

The interior felt sticky and unkept, which is a shame because this is not an old spot by any means and Telfair is a pretty nice community. The legs of the tables were rusted over and the plastic of the chairs were chipped. There were cobwebs on the walls. It just felt like the place has not been well maintained. When we ordered, the cashier never showed or told me my order back and just gave me the total price, expecting me to tap my card. Hearing that our order for 4 people was over $60, the price sounded high to me for the prices listed on the overhead TV menus. Come to find out there was a markup on the loaded fries I ordered that was not reflected on the display. When I asked her about it, she nonchalantly said "Oh yeah the price is higher". My first thought was, hey it's a digital menu, how hard is that to change? Secondly, the attitude in response to how my order broke down was definitely not one of good customer service. I also asked how spicy the chili ranch sauce was that came with the avocado burger since my 6 year-old was ordering it and she assured me it was not spicy. We ended up having to wait over half an hour for our food. Turned out the avocado burger had some sort of chopped peppers throughout the spread and my son couldn't even eat a bite. The biryani was also extremely spicy. I like spicy food as much as the next, but the biryani was hot fire coming out the chute, and there was a lot "chuting" from the family after this meal. Needless to say, we won't be returning anytime soon. Which is too bad, because I want to support local, ethnic foods and honestly, I like the taste of the food.

The fries were the most disappointing - they were stale and tasted overcooked, sort of like when you reheat day old fries. There's an indicator when your child doesn't care for any fries. Overall meal was about $30. We tipped and cleaned up after ourselves. Not the best counter service, but not bad. The interior was ok. They had Mr. Bean playing on TV, so that brought back some old childhood nostalgia feels. Unlikely that we will be back, but if so, I'll try the burger next time.
