Only " negative" thing is the interior area, but it's out of their control, since the shopping center owner refuses to allow Any remodeling. Shawarma, gyros, and Kabab were all good!

And although the walls are a little beat up the tables are leveled with worn napkins, and the plates are plastic, the food is worth the experience, and I got the restaurant all to myself :). Per the sign, after placing my order, like a one man band, the cashier got to work. First they prepared fresh pita for my hummus. Next, the chicken shawarma pita combo. While I didn't stay to watch the construction, I appreciate the open kitchen concept mainly because it allows me to view the prep station as well as the condition of the ingredients (everything looked fresh btw). So let's talk food. The hummus was exactly as advertised, nothing more, nothing less. The pita on the other hand was unexpected. Undoubtedly fresh, I was served cross between pita bread and a pita chip. I asked for my wrap spicy without tomatoes. While it did arrive with tomatoes, it was undeniably delicious. My eyes were 100% bigger than my stomach, so after a few bites I was satisfied. They don't skimp on the chicken. While the fries weren't my cup of tea, I'd certainly return for the pita. On the way out, I noticed their menu included family deals and lunch specials, a kids meal option, and multiple high chairs, which eliminates your excuse not to visit. :D

We usually substitute the rice for Persian salad. Diced cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions with a Persian dressing. My favorite. For something different, try the fesenjan. Chicken served with a pomegranate, walnut and saffron stew served with basmati rice. So tangy and sweet. Love this one! Add some hummus, whipped feta or warm eggplant dip while you wait for dinner. Parking is easy. Make a reservation for a weekend dinner or lunch.

I must say I have to echo her review, as we were blown away by the flavors. The restaurant was packed, and the decor was fancy but comfortable. One look at the interior and clientele already convinced me this place would be authentic. We opted to try 2 different combos, the Kasra and seafood combo, so we could share and try a bit of everything. It's hard to pick a favorite, all the proteins were flavorful and tender. The rice was a whole talking point just by itself. I often get bored with plain old white rice, so I'm glad Kasra seasons their rice well. The portions were very generous as well, they left me full after cleaning up that whole plate. This was an excellent introduction to Persian cuisine for me, we got lucky that we chose a place that would leave a great first impression!

I booked the event back in February and worked with Muhanad Rantawi, who made the entire planning process smooth and easy. On the day of the event, the two servers assigned to us were absolutely phenomenal. They helped with setup and were attentive in serving food and drinks to our guests throughout the event. The space itself was clean, cute, and cozy--perfect for an intimate gathering. The food was delicious as well. Although we didn't receive the rice we had ordered, they made up for it by providing extra pita. One challenge was that the AC wasn't working, but the staff handled it as best as they could by bringing out a large kitchen fan to help keep guests comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely use them again for catering and would consider hosting another event there in the future.

Service was mediocre with us having to wait a long time to put our order in because the one server that was there was busy chatting with some woman who was making a togo order after we had been seated. The food was hit or miss with the highlights being the lentil soup and garlic dip.The moussaka seemed like it came premade from the store which was disappointing. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and they put a toilet seat that is too small on the toilet so good luck if you need to sit down... Also I spent the entire night unable to sleep well with indigestion and my wife has had to run to the restroom all night and all morning. Overall I don't think we will return due to the grossness...

It turns out they were here all getting food from none other than Al Mankal Grill, a longtime bookmark and one of the gems of Sugar Land. They're in good company, as there are multiple Halal trucks, serving different cuisines and specializing in all kinds of food. The local following is impressive, but seeing as they have a perfect rating across different platforms, they're clearly doing something right. I ordered the beef and lamb chunks, a $27 (with tax) which had the perfect amount of char with just a hint of smokiness. Despite the price, I was floored at how delicious it was. The chicken shawarma arabi ($12) is a popular choice, while the mixed grill ($18) provides some variety between the meats. The chicken skewer ($6) and lamb with fat ($7) were both outstanding. The guy behind the window was friendly and dealt with every customer in a long line with ease. Credit cards are most definitely accepted and the wait for the food ended up being somewhere around 20 minutes. Unlike the other food trucks, they actually have outdoor seating with a few (albeit janky) picnic tables. This spot will become one of my most frequent when I'm in the area.
